Chapter 8: Pissed Off / Nobody Needs to Know

Angelica

I raced after Thomas, rage filling me from head to toe. I pulled him to the side of the hallway. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"

He smirked. "The little faggot needs to know his place in this school." He pushed me up against the wall and kissed my lips. I couldn't help but kiss back. Madison and Burr walked away from us.

I pushed him off of me. "He's my friend, Thomas! You can't just go beat up every student here!"

Thomas rolled his eyes. He lifted my chin and smiled. "Why don't we skip the rest of today, hmm?"

I looked to the floor. No one knew about Thomas and I except for Madison and Burr.

I sighed and followed him to his dorm.

Thomas pushed me up against the wall and started to roughly kiss me. I pulled away from him. "T-Thomas the door."

He gave me one last kiss and walked over to the door, locked it, and walked back to me.

I laid down on his bed. He got on top of me and started to pull my shirt and skirt off. I sat up and kissed him more and kissed his neck too, leaving marks. He then left marks on my neck.

I pushed him down on the bed, taking his shirt off of him and throwing it to the floor. I started to kiss down his body, when my phone went off.

I stopped and picked up my phone. Peggy was calling me. I answered it. "Hello?"

"Angelica? Where are you?!" I looked at Thomas then down at the bed sheets in shame.

"I'm uh, at Starbucks," I lied. I hated lying to my sisters about where I was, but I couldn't let them find out I was with Thomas.

He sat back up and started to suck on my neck again, then moved down to the collarbone.

"You're skipping?!" Peggy screeched into the phone. I gritted my teeth to hold back a small moan.

"Yes," I sighed.

She huffed. I could tell she was disappointed at me. "Well okay then. I'll see you later I guess." She gasped. "Can you come check on Alexander later?" she asked. "He got beat up really bad."

"Yeah, I will."

"Love you, Angie."

"Love you too, Peggs."

I hung up the phone and threw it on Thomas's nightstand.

He caressed his hand down my body. "Can we get back to where we were?"

I'm really worried about Angelica. She's never skipped school before, and it's so unlike her to do this. I'm actually kinda shocked at her.

School was over and I weaved my way through the crowd until I found John.

"Alex doing okay?" I asked.

He looked down at the floor. "I took him back to our dorm to rest. I looked him over and he said nothing hurt too bad, just some bruises."

"Oh. Okay. I'll call Angelica and tell her not to check on him then."

I called Angelicas phone and was devastated when it went straight to voicemail. I left her a message telling her that Alex was okay.

"Yeah so, speaking of Angelica, where is she?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. She ran after Thomas and then she disappeared."

Johns eyes went wide with shock. "You don't think..."

I felt a pit of dread in my stomach. "Oh my god. What if they are?"

I felt pinpricks of tears in my eyes. "John, I-I gotta go." I ran to my dorm, wiping tears from my eyes.

Eliza ran to me. "Peggy? What's wrong?!"

"I t-think Angelica and Thomas J-Jefferson..." I couldn't even finish my sentence. I felt sick. I love my sister to death, but this is low even for her. It feels like the ones I love most always betray me.
