Tengu's are quite interesting mythological creatures in Japan but there is one fighter in the series that I enjoy playing as, that is Yashamaru Kurama, He first appeared as the main protagonist in the Samurai Shodown Reboot. The reasons why I put him in this list because of his Backstory, Weapon design and Gameplay.
Let's start with his backstory, he's a young and fallen samurai whose father was executed by the Tokugawa Shogunate under false claims. therefore, he bears he deep hatred to the Shogunate. He spends most of his time stalking the shadows as a thief and criminal under the name Karasu Tengu. He's basically a Japanese Robin Hood. His weapon of choice is a Nagamaki which is like a katana but it has a extra handle. Due to his lineage he possesses the abilities of a tengu such as speed, senses, reflexes and heightened movement.
