TOPIC 2: A City That's Doing Something Right

The cities, where there are many companies, factories and works with the high salaries. So many young people want to move to the big cities to get a good job after graduated and the cities are becoming more crowded and overcrowding.

That will be unbelievable nightmare in 2025, there are 4 billions people, a half of global population living in the cities in the developing countries. Due to the overcrowding, these cities have big problem with air pollution, crime, disease and so on. The traffic will be horrible and people will spend hours in gridlock when they commute daily from their home to work. There isn't enough water, electricity, or housing. Many people can't access to health services and job.

And The Major of a city have a hard duty to solve the problems of their city with some creative priorities such as:

+Garbage collecting:In the neighborhood, where the garbage trucks can't reach, people can bring the trash to a center to exchange for the fresh food, bus ticket or something like that. It is the solution for the new method of trash collecting and gets our environment better, it also gives the poor people a job to improve their lives and there will be no more/longer hunger in the world!

+Transportation: The mass-transit will be helpful for the cities to solve the problem of the traffic and make people commute more pleasant!

+Street children: To help this problem, each company, factory and store agree to take care of some street children, give them a meal and amount of money everyday, teach them and give them a small job. Moreover, the city hires the teenagers to take care of many public places. The street children will be more educated and get away from many social ills such as crime or using drug.

+The Environment: To keep the environment cleaner and more beautiful, there must be a strict law against the polluters and the low taxes for the companies that keep their areas clean.

If you are a Major of a city and you have good city plan priorities, I believe that our cities, our earth will be much better.
