Yoongi's POV-

"Okay, wait..." Yeol speaks slowly from where he's stood across the kitchen island from me. "You're going where?"

"He wants to go back to Daegu. It was his choice and that's what he wants." I answer, not looking up at him as I pick up another shard of glass from the sink, tossing it into the trash bin sitting on the floor beside me.

"And the General was okay with this."

I keep my eyes fixed on the sink as I continue to clean up the broken glass. "He said he would consider it. He wants to get a layout of whatever house we find so he can look it over for approval. So really, we don't even know for sure that it's going to happen. He just said that we needed to find a place preferably on the outskirts of town then send him the specs for review."

"Okay, but do you really think going back to your hometown, meaning yours, Taehyung's and Irene's, in case you forgot that she's from your hometown too, is a good idea?"

He's holding back his attitude a little, but I can hear just how much he dislikes the idea in his tone.

It's ultimately Taehyung's decision, but I have to admit, the more I think about it the more uneasy I get.

I was especially deterred when the General so easily named all of the places he knew off the top of his head that we could choose to go to in Daegu.

Places that Taehyung and I both were familiar with and could be linked to.

And then when he brought up the place I have there that no one was supposed to know about, my jaw damn near hit the floor.

Fuck, that reminds me. I might want to sell that too. I'm for sure going to be listing the second place in this building, but I might as well get rid of that one while I'm at it.

But that means I'll have to call that damn realtor again. She is probably so sick of me.

"Yoongs?" He speaks up, bringing my attention back to him.

"Wha- Ow!" I flinch as a piece of glass slices the side of my right pointer finger.

I drop the shard before reaching for a paper towel on the counter behind me as Yeol rushes around the counter to me.

"There's a first aid kit in the cabinet behind me. The one where we keep Kook's medication." I tell him as I press the towel against the cut.

He reaches for the cabinet, retrieving the small kit before setting it on the counter and getting it open.

"Did it look very deep?" He asks as he rummages through the box, taking out antiseptic wipes, bandaids and a small roll of gauze.

"No, I don't think so. Just enough to draw a fair amount of blood."

He holds his hand out for mine, I place mine in his as he removes the paper towel and presses gauze to the cut.

"Don't tell Taehyung about this please. This isn't anything major or worth worrying about and I know he will feel bad if he knows I got hurt cleaning this up." I say, nodding towards the sink next to me.

"Are they still asleep?"

"I've been hearing the shower going, so one of them is awake. I'm not sure which though. I know Taehyung went to bed just before you woke up, but he did say something about wanting to shower before we left."

"When do we have to be at the company?"

"Eight."

He raises his brows as he looks from my hand to the clock on the oven, then at me. "That's in just over an hour."

I hum, keeping my eyes down.

"Yoongs, you didn't sleep at all last night." He says, voice full of concern.

"I got a little sleep."

"Where? Because you didn't come to your room  where I was and I'm pretty sure it wasn't with Jungkook and Tae in the other bed."

"How do you know I wasn't with them."

"Because if you were I highly doubt you'd have been awake when I woke up. You'd still be cuddled up with whichever of them was still asleep right now instead of cleaning up broken glass."

"I was on the couch in my studio." I pout, knowing that there's no use in lying because he's right. If I would have slept with those two, chances are I'd be way to comfortable to be awake so early.

"I doubt you slept at all." He sighs. "Why weren't you out on this couch."

"Minho needed to use his computer to do more planning or whatever, but I didn't want to just leave him out in my apartment by himself. He's still a stranger to me."

"A stranger who you didn't want so close to your studio." He rolls his eyes mockingly.

I let out a chuckle because he's absolutely right. That is the only thing I was really worried about him being alone with.

Whether the door was shut and locked or not, my studio is the most important thing in my apartment to me and I don't know him.

"Let's get this cleaned up and then you can try to get a nap in before we-"

"There's no time, Yeol. I'll be lucky if I even fit a shower in before we go, but it's okay. I can get some coffee or something at the company, then maybe this afternoon I'll get a nap in. Either way, I'll be fine. I've gone longer without sleep."

"Not since before your debut will you gone this long with such little sleep." He sighs.

"Yeol," I say calmly. "I promise I'll be fine."

"Alright." He says, not sounding convinced at all of my words as he brings his focus back to my hand.

I can't help but smile at his concern. I don't know how I got so lucky to have him as a friend. He's been with me through everything and knows more about me than anyone.

I would even venture to say that none of the good things that have happened in my life would have happened without him. I certainly wouldn't have met Kook if not for him.

He was also one of the only people that encouraged me to sign with the company. He was the first person I spoke to after I got the offer and he was behind me the whole way.

I was doubtful and so scared that what had happened previously with getting my hopes up just to have them crushed would happen again, but he was persistent in encouraging me to try.

I wouldn't have anything, be anything, without him.

"Thank you, Yeol." I swallow the lump in my throat while keeping my eyes down because if I look at him, I'll break down. "Thank you for sticking by me, supporting me, celebrating my successes as well as sharing the disappointment in my losses with me. I wouldn't be where or who I am if not for you."

"You don't have to thank me." He says in a gentle voice.

"Yes I do." I gulp again as I finally raise my teary eyes to look at him.

"You saved my life, Yoongs. Multiple times, in multiple ways."

Holding eye contact with him as best I can, I proceed. "Between my depression after being dropped by the company, Irene's fucking mind games and all the people I thought supported me disappearing when my dreams went up in flames, I wanted it all to be over. I wanted to end it all, but you kept me going. You are the reason I'm still here."

I see his eyes tearing up before he begins to blink in attempt to keep the tears at bay. Some manage to spill anyway while a few escape from my eyes as well.

I'm usually not one to get outwardly sentimental. As Taehyung so kindly pointed out to me, I do prefer to deflect away from uncomfortable conversations.

Not that I'm uncomfortable being honest with Yeol right now, it's just not something I would normally be so outwardly emotional about. Because of this, I'm immensely glad when Yeol steers the conversation away from the over-sentimentality.

"Now I know you're exhausted if you're being sappy, Yoongs." He chuckles as he reaches up to quickly wipe his eyes with his free hand that isn't holding the gauze to my hand while I do the same.

I chuckle along with him as he goes on to say, "I'll make sure we get you some extra strong coffee when we get there."

"That would be great." I smile.

After I've spoken no more words are said as he goes about getting my hand fixed up. The room is relatively silent before we hear loud laughter come from one of the other rooms.

"Sounds like they're up." He says as he removes the gauze to check to see if the bleeding had let up. "It also sounds like Jungkook is feeling better."

I nod. "I'm glad that Taehyung is here to help him. He seems to lift everyone's mood, but especially Kook's."

"I'm still getting used to you speaking so kindly about our little genius dongsaeng. It doesn't seem like too long ago that I would have you bitching to me about him in one ear while he would do the same about you in the other." He laughs. "It was maddening! I had half a mind more than once to lock you two in a room until you worked through all your shit."

"You basically did." I snort. "Don't think I forgot about that day that Taehyung was sitting outside my studio door and you purposely blocked my escape route."

He laughs. "But it worked didn't it? You two seemed to come to some sort of understanding that day. At least, as far as I knew. You both seemed to complain to me a little less after that."

I hum. "We did."

"And I think you two will only get closer from here on out. Don't you?" He comments as he tears open one of the packets to get an antiseptic wipe out.

"I think we will. I think he, Kook and I will all be closer."

He says it quietly, so I can't be sure it's what was actually said, but he seems to say a mumbled "That's the plan" before he swipes the cut with the wipe, the sting distracting me from asking him to repeat what he's said.

Plan? What plan?

Taehyung's POV-

"Which of these drawers has your clothes?" I ask, raising my voice so he can hear me over the shower.

I've been trying to find something to wear, opening and closing drawers haphazardly to see if I recognized any of his items inside, but I've only been able to find socks and underwear. Although I did also see two full drawers of white t-shirts, but I'm unable to tell who those belong to.

Not that it would be noticed or probably bother either of them if I took one to wear anyway.

"Most of my stuff is hung up on the wracks over on the far left wall." He answers as he turns the water off.

I stand up straight, immediately walking over to his side of the closet.

Thank God most all of his clothes are oversized so I don't have to worry about things being too small like I do if I'm forced to borrow something of Chim's.

I slide my way through the section of pants, finding a pair I am fairly certain are some of mine that got mixed with his clothes at some point that he packed up and moved with him.

I slide the pants on over the borrowed pair of black underwear I have on before moving on to the shirts, choosing to go to the white section of his color-coated rack to look for something.

I don't think the plan is to go anywhere after the company, at least I won't be, so dressing casual should be fine.

As I'm getting to the end of the section I am surprised to see a particular shirt I had no idea Koo had. One I also recognize as mine.

I begin to chuckle quietly to myself, removing the shirt from the hanger as an idea comes to mind.

"Hey Koo," I say in a raised voice, keeping my eyes on the shirt. "Can I pick your outfit?"

"Okay..?" He answers as I hear footsteps coming towards me. "Don't make me wear anything embarrassing though."

I feel him walk up behind me, looking over my shoulder as he says with a breathy laugh. "Last time you picked my clothes I loo-"

When he stops talking I turn towards him, biting both my lips to hold in my giggles.

I'm momentarily distracted by his shirtless torso so close to me, as well as the towel tied around his hips, but thankfully he doesn't notice my gawking as he grins widely at the piece of clothing in my hands.

Once he begins to laugh I let mine free as well as I hand the shirt to him, both of us laughing even harder as he holds it up by the sleeves so he can get a look at it in it's entirety.

"I didn't even know I had this! You have to wear the other one so we'll be matching. It got washed at the base so it's ready to wear, I just haven't unpacked it." He smiles widely with excitement.

"I'll go get it from your suitcase." I giggle happily as I head for the bedroom.

Once I dig it out of the bag I put it on quickly before going back into the closet. I've kept my eyes down on the shirt, but as I cross the threshold into the closet I look up to where I'd left Koo.

I see him just as he is adjusting the waistband on the underwear he's put on and I'm speechless at the sight, halting my steps so I'm stopped in the entrance of the closet.

How did I forget how hot my friend is? Oh... but that's just it. He's my friend. My best friend, who also has a boyfriend.

A boyfriend he loves. A boyfriend who isn't me. Which is fine. It's totally fine.

I gulp as he reaches for a pair of his favorite black jogger-style cargo pants, watching like a complete creep as he slides them up his legs seemingly in slow motion.

I clear my throat just as he bends down to signal my presence, as he reaches for the towel that was discarded onto the floor.

I watch as his eyes move from my face down to the shirt, seeing it causing the sweet, childlike bunny smile that completely contrasts but at the same time pairs perfectly with his muscular body appears.

"He's not going to think this is funny. He'll probably even make us change before we step foot outside the apartment." He giggles as he continues to reach for the towel, grabbing it before standing up straight and walking towards me.

"We should stay in here for as long as we can so there won't be any time to change before we have to leave." I run my eyes over his chest and abs a little too leisurely before meeting his eyes.

"You just checked me out." He says with a raised brow.

I shrug. "And?"

"You don't even feel bad about what you just did, do you." Koo says with a teasing smirk as he puts his hands in his pockets.

"Should I." I tease back, standing up a little taller with my chin held high.

He breaks into a cheek splitting grin before he lets out another laugh. "Oh Taetae. You've always been so shameless."

I walk a few steps more in order to close the remaining gap between us with a crooked smile.

"Don't forget, Koo," I say before pausing, tilting my head as I tuck my bottom lip between my teeth.

I keep my eyes locked with his as I say a little more quietly, almost as if it were a secret, "I was yours first."

The subtle hitch in his breath causes an amused smile to spread across my lips.

I'm just teasing him, but with the look in his eyes, he doesn't seem like he is taking this as lightly as I had originally meant it to be taken.

He's looking at me how he did at our sleepover all those months ago. A look I long for, but am not entitled too. Not for more than the few stolen seconds I relish in selfishly.

This emotion, this want in his eyes is mine for the moment, but the lasting feelings, the love that fortifies it, belongs to Yoongi now.

"Go blow dry your hair, Koo." I say, breaking the tension as I reach up to ruffle his still wet hair. "You're dripping all over the carpet."

He blinks a few times as he clears his throat before saying, "Y-yeah. Okay."

I smile before spinning on my heal to leave the closet to go out into the bedroom.

My heart is beating quickly in my chest, which I hadn't noticed until right now, but the feeling just makes me smile wider.

Although I miss seeing him look at me like that, I also missed getting a rise out of him in general. Making him flustered.

Unexpectedly over the last few days, I've found he isn't the only one I have fun teasing.

I had no idea Yoongi was so easy to embarrass and mess with. How the most minimal effort on my part makes him blush that pretty pink shade as well as stutter over his words.

It also makes me incredibly proud to know that I, Kim Taehyung, am able to make Min Yoongi, AKA Suga, AKA Agust D, so flustered that he gets tongue tied.

It's truly one of my best discoveries and I think, although they may not have as much fun as I know I will, teasing the two love birds may be my new favorite thing.

Plus, it's a fantastic distraction from the gaping holes in my heart and the stress of my impending emotional breakdown.

As I continue to walk to the couch in Yoongi's room, Koo's phone catches my eye from where it's laying on the bed so I change my course from going to the couch to go to the bed instead, thinking I can maybe mess around on it to pass the time.

When I pick up the phone it doesn't turn on. After attempting to wake it up I realize that it's dead. His dead phone reminds me that my phone is in his backpack dead as well.

I'm not in too big of a hurry to charge mine because I already know my inboxes will be full of nothing but missed calls and messages from Seulgi, Yuri, maybe even Irene herself, as well as other people from their company, and I don't want to deal with that right now.

Charging my phone is definitely not a priority, but maybe Koo will want his charged.

With his phone still in hand, I look around the bedside table to see if there is a charger plugged into the wall around it. When I don't see anything, I move my eyes around the room to other wall outlets that are within view.

Just as I hear the blow dryer turn on I go to his suitcase thinking maybe the charger's still packed.

After digging around, tossing things out of the suitcase onto the bed, I uncover the white chord but am unable to find the block that goes into the wall anywhere in the suitcase.

I hear the blow dryer switch off at this point and shortly after, Koo comes out of the bathroom.

"What are you looking for?"

"I saw your phone was dead so I was going to plug it in for you, but I can't find the block thing that plugs into the wall. Just the chord."

"You don't have to charge it." He says as he walks over to me. "The only people that ever get ahold of me are you, Yoongi, Chanyeol or my mother. You three are here and I would be ignoring her anyway. I don't really need it."

"If you say so." I chuckle, finally looking up from the bag in his direction.

I didn't realize how close he was until I am met with a close up view of the face on his shirt less than a meter away from me.

I immediately let out a snort before I start full on laughing again.

"He's not going to let us walk around the company in these." Koo says as he begins laughing with me.

"It doesn't matter if he lets us or not." I giggle. "Besides, we have him wrapped around our little fingers, Koo. He has never been able to say no to you and he sure as hell can't say no to me."

He tsks as he shakes his head. "Poor Yoongi. He's never gonna get his way with anything again. Not unless we happen to agree with his way. Which I can't imagine will happen often if ever."

"Yeah yeah, poor Yoongi. It must be so hard for him to have two guys that like him enough to put up with his grumpy ass." I roll my eyes playfully. "Someday we can use this power to get whatever we want in a bigger way, but for now, we'll keep it small. We'll only use it to wear these shirts out of the apartment today."

"Okay." He beams. "Are we safe to go out now?"

I look over at the clock on the dresser and see that it's just passed seven fifteen. I don't know how long it will take Minho to get all his guys stationed wherever the hell he's gonna have then go, but I know that we aren't too far away from the company. And with it being this early in the day, traffic shouldn't be bad.

"Let's wait a minute or two more and then we-"

Suddenly, Yoongi pokes his head into the room with wet looking hair, staring at us with a surprised look on his face.

"Oh, I didn't expect you both to be awake. Or standing right there." He says with a nervous chuckle.

"Why are you wet?" I ask with a quirked brow.

"I decided I should probably shower. I used the spare bathroom in case one of you was using mine, but I failed to think ahead enough to get a change of clothes before I did it." He says as he steps into the room fully.

If I thought I went speechless seeing Koo earlier, this sight damn near makes me lose any knowledge of language at all.

I assume Koo had seen Yoongi shirtless plenty of times, but I haven't. And God, is it a sight. I don't think I've ever in my life seen skin so fair.

I always thought Jimin and Koo were pale, but they would seem tan compared to him. He's pearlescent. And it's stunningly beautiful. So delicate and perfect looking.

"Brats." He huffs as he folds his arms over his chest and shuffles quickly towards the closet.

"Well... he didn't seem to notice our shirts." Koo giggles, looking over at me.

"He was probably distracted by my drooling." I mumble in a voice I think is low enough to be inaudible as I look down and begin putting clothes back into the suitcase.

"Truly shameless, Taetae." Koo sighs as he grabs my hands to stop my movements. "And why are you repacking my suitcase? We're home now. We won't be leaving for at least a few days."

"Oh, right." I squeeze his hands with a smile before he begins pulling me towards the door.

"Let's try to hurry and eat something before we leave. I don't know about you but I'm starving."

"Just eat at the company." Yoongi says, walking back into the bedroom while drying his hair with a towel, wearing some ripped skinny jeans and a huge tan colored t-shirt.

Once he walks fully into the room he stops. He's not looking at our faces or at our still interlocked hands... he's looking at our shirts.

"Absolutely not." He frowns before raising his eyes to meet each of ours. "Wear something else."

"Please Yoongi Oppa." I pout.

I hear Koo let out a dramatic gasp at my side before bursting into laughter while Yoongi drops the towel he was using to dry his hair to the floor as his cheeks quickly turn a cherry red color.

Jimin told me about the painfully obvious Oppa kink almost immediately after Koo disclosed the not-so-secret secret to him. I figured this would be the perfect time to test its potency.

Seems to have worked well as far as stunning him to silence but I'll have to be sure to test its real limits at a later time.

"Wha- How-" He chokes out before clamping his jaw shut and sending a pointed look to Koo.

"How about you finish drying your hair while
we go wait with Chan." I say quickly as I pull Koo towards the door, opening it fully to them step out into the hallway.

I glance over my shoulder to see if Yoongi followed us. When I see he hasn't, I face forward and continue on my marry way as Koo and I walk out towards the kitchen.

"How long have you known about that." Koo giggles.

"Just as long as Chim has." I beam.

As soon as we round the corner and Chan sees us from where he's sat on the kitchen counter, he begins laughing hysterically.

"Minho will be up shortly to get us." Yoongi huffs, sounding annoyed.

We turn around to see him, still with lightly blushed cheeks as he slips into a pair of shoes by the door.

"They're going to walk around your company like that." Chan laughs as he walks past us to the door before putting his shoes on as well.

"Unfortunately, and I'm sure this was on purpose, yes. This is what they will be wearing because there's no time for them to change. We have to go." He says as he directs his seemingly unhappy pout to me and Koo. Although, I swear I see him trying to fight back a smile.

When a knock sounds on the door we all watch closely as Yeol walks to it, unlocking and opening it just enough to see who it is.

"We're ready when you are." We hear Minho say.

Chan looks back at the four of us before looking back at Minho. "We'll follow you down now."

Koo and I hurry forward to get our shoes on, still smiling ear to ear that we won't be changing our clothes.

"Little brats." Yoongi grumbles before he steps around Chan into the hall.

"Your brats, Hyung." I say cheerfully as I stand up to then follow him out, taking Koo's hand in mine to pull him with me.

"Yeah, your brats." He giggles.

"Yeah Yoongs." Chan calls out as well as he takes his keys out of his pocket to lock the deadbolt.

...

"So, who is this girl again?" Koo asks quietly as we walk around another corner on our way to the meeting room at the company.

We are walking a little behind the group, the group being Minho and two soldiers, Yoongi and Chan, but even so we have still been trying to talk quietly. Especially when it comes to the questions Koo is asking.

"This is the girl." I say, smile so big I think my face might split in two.

I have had to listen to Chim bitch about Hoseok's ex, who isn't even actually his ex, for months. He can't stand the girl.

I've asked Hobi about her a few times, when Chim wasn't there of course, and she sounds really cool. And funny. And super nice.

Hobi couldn't say enough good things about her, but that's probably why Chim hates her with a passion, despite having never met her. She sounds perfect.

If this were a perfect world, or a K-Drama, I would be able to finally meet her with Jimin and Hobi there together.

What a fucking show that would be! I can't even imagine what Chim wou-

"HEY!"

All of us freeze at the booming, angry voice calling out from behind us.

Koo and I stay still, immediately recognizing who that voice belongs to, while the other five turn around.

Minho's guys push Yoongi and Chan behind them in an effort to "protect them" from who they assume is an irate stranger while Minho moves towards Koo and I to do the same with us.

We hear quick steps coming up behind us and with a sharp breath in, Koo and I turn around to see Chim stalking towards us, outrage written all over his features.

"Who the hell are these guys?! And where the fuck have you all been!" He yells as he tries to get around Minho.

"Who are you?" Minho asks, not taking his eyes off of Chim.

"Who the hell are you!" Chim growls, glowering up at Minho.

"It's fine. This is Jimin. Park Jimin." I say, placing a hand on Minho's shoulder. "Remember? I told you about him last night. Or, this morning, I guess."

Minho seems to relax a little, but he stays stood between us. When Chim pushes around him though he doesn't stop him, letting him come to me and Koo.

"Why haven't I heard a single word from either of you! Hobi got some sort of cryptic text a few days ago from Yoongi that you were going out of town or some shit. Which is fucked because I had to hear about what my best friends were doing from a fucking a third party. Even Yoongi texted his friend to tell him what was going on, so what the fuck guys. I thought we were done with the secrets."

"Jimin, it's not like we were on vacation. We..." Koo begins before pausing to glance over at me.

I can tell he is checking to see if he's clear to keep talking, to explain a little better what's happened so we aren't in so much trouble with our tiny, hot headed friend.

I click my tongue before looking at Jimin, already dreading the conversation we are about to have. "We have some things to tell you. But not here, where did you just come from?" I ask as I look past him down the hall. "A dance practice room?"

"Yeah," He answers. "Follow me."

"Wait," Koo says before turning back to Yoongi. "Our phones are dead so you won't be able to call or text us so when we're done we'll come find you."

"I'll have Kyungsoo stay with you two. That way he can keep an eye out and you two can use his phone, have him call me if you need anything or vice versa." Minho says before looking at the soldier standing by Chan.

"Let me know immediately if there are any issues." Minho says to the soldier, Kyungsoo, who just nods silently in return before walking to Koo and I.

"What the hell is happening?" Chim asks, now sounding less pissed off and more just genuinely concerned.

"Let's go talk." Koo says as he puts his arm around Chim's shoulders and begins to walk, Kyungsoo staying back waiting for me to follow.

I look back at Chan and Yoongi. "I don't know how long we'll be. There's a lot to be said." I gulp. "Most of it being things that will be hard to talk about, but he needs to know."

"That's no problem, Taehyung." Yoongi smiles kindly. "You two take your time."

"Thanks Hyung." I smile back just as Chim calls my name.

I turn towards his voice to see he and Koo stopped as Chim reaches his hand out for me. I walk to him, holding his hand tightly in mine as the three of us, and Kyungsoo, walk up the hall on our way to the practice room.
