Murmurs of 'excuse me's and 'sorry's filled the station.

One of the first trains was leaving, and everyone was eager to get on.

It was packed, but had seats for everyone.

A girl in a red kimono with a young boy only just got a seat.

They were on the left side of the train, looking out at the crowded station.

People waved back and forth.

The seat in front of them was free, and both thought some elderly man was going to sit there and hit on the lady. The engaged lady.

But it wasn't just like that.

"Excuse me, can we sit there? My son and I can't find seats" someone said.

The girl in the red kimono looked over.

There was a short lady, with the most beautiful purple eyes. She was quite short, her son almost the same height.

She was holding two babies, twins. Her son stood next to her, lookin away, seemingly embarrassed.

"Oh! Yes sure! Do you want me to help you with a baby?" The red.kimono girl asked.

"Oh, thank you love, here. Take Genya" She explained, giving the girl a baby and sitting down opposite her.

Her son was made to sit by the window, opposite the young boy the girl had.

"So, why have you decided to get on the train dear?" The woman asked.

"Ah, my fiancé lives at its final destination so we are going to stay with him for my marriage. He recently got new work so we were told to come to him as soon as" the girl explained

"Lovely. Oh! Where are my manners! My name is Shizu Shinazugawa. This is my son Sanemi, you have baby Genya and this is Baby sumi" Shizu said

"Lovely names Ms. Shinazugawa"

"Please, call me Shizu."

"Hai. Oh, my name is Tsutako Tomioka, this is my brother Giyuu Tomioka." She said.

"Oh! I thought he was your son!"

"No no! Brother! Our parents abandoned us, so he sees me as a mother but I am not one. He's not the most talkative"

"Nor is Sanemi." Shizu giggled, as did Tsutako.

"Urgh. Mother how long will this take?" He said.

"Loose the temper 'nemi. And maybe 2 hours or more" Shizu said

Sanemi groaned and went back to looking out the window.

Giyuu stopped gazing at the people and pulled out a book from his kimono. He opened it to a page and showed it to sanemi.

It was of a butterfly. Black and white but beautiful.

Sanemi took the book and read the short description next to it

"It reminds me of you" he said shyly

Sanemi looked at him and smiled

He outstretched his hand

"Sanemi"

"Giyuu"

Giyuu shook his hand and got passed back his book.

"How old are you?" Sanemi asked

"11, you?"

"Hmm. Same!" He said grinning

Giyuu giggled.

The train started with a jolt.

Tsutako and Shizu were happily talking away.

Sanemi and giyuu the same.

The two hours went by like a snap.

Both boys cried and clung onto each other, not wanting to let go. They were the first friends they ever had after all.

"Sanemi, come on dear. I need you to hold Genya for me." Shizu said, bending down.

"We will visit! I know your address! Promise!" Tsutako said.

"Have a happy wedding tomioka~ San! Goodbye!" Shizu said

"Goodbye Shizu!" Tsutako said, cradling a sobbing giyuu.

Sanemi clung to his mother's kimono as the walked the opposite way.

Never to see each other again.
