[Dusk PoV]

I woke to the sudden sounds of workers screaming in fear.

"What the hell is happening?! Dusk, you okay?" I heard Quicklight yelp.

"I don't know," I responded. I noticed a sharp tang in the air, and a heavy, dark aura clung to the surroundings. "Wait, to you smell blood?"

Quicklight looked qualm while nodding.

I looked to the door, and I doubted I would ever erase what I saw from my mind.

Five guards lay dead. Ten more were wounded. Blood was splattered everywhere, from the floor to the walls. And in the middle of it all was some kind of bat hybrid.

She looked over to me.

"Why, hello there!" The hybrid spoke in a voice darker than shadow.

The light flipped off for a moment, and my vision went dark for a minute. All I saw were Quicklight's eyes glowing.

Seconds later the lights flipped back on. The bodies had disappeared, but the blood still stained the floor and the walls.

Quicklight stumbled over to the bathroom area and puked. I walked over to check on her after a bit and gave her some food and water from the guards.

Let's hope they don't have to test her today...

[Pinksilver PoV]

Finally. FINALLY. I killed those humans and now I have food.

I grabbed an arm from the cadaverous pile and started devouring it. Blood dripped down my chin as my teeth sank into the human flesh.

*ring ring ri-*

I picked up the device.

"Yes, Butterfly?"

"I heard you killed five guards. Impressive! Also, before your little blood show if I could meet Dawn, Vizor, Deathray, and Pinklight.  Surprisingly, they said yes. Meet us at [ERROR! File _______ was lost.] and DON'T kill anyone on the way. You got that?"

"Alright."

"Good luck."

Butterfly hung up, and I put the device away.

Better get ready. I have no time to lose to find that place.
