There was no cryptozoology lab anymore. The entire building had been changed into a house with long, four-shelf wall unit, a large radio and record player cabinet, large red furnace -fireplace, L-shaped black leather window seating with accent pillows. In another section, there was a classic frosted velvet chesterfield sofa set with deep button tufting and rolled arms including a three-seater sofa and single sofa, various wall art, and tall glass pantries with spices and food samples for people as well as animals. There was a large kitchen, mostly a rich blue color with drapes over the lattice windows' sink and cabinets tied back. Round bar stools and diamond back chairs surrounding a round island countertop, a refrigerator with freezer at the bottom. In back were offices with the words Creature Detectives Agency on each glass door with Popi Aseena's name on one and Dorothey Tolt's name on the other.

There were three other office spaces that were empty and a large gym for training further down.

"What happened to all the creatures, the lab?" Apatt asked rhetorically.

"It's still the sixties, but a few years have passed, Teach. You didn't think everything would stay the same, did you?" Popi Aseena said coming out of the atrium leading to the back entrance. "The creatures are in a sanctuary instead of a lab," she pointed with her thumb over her shoulder towards where the atrium led. Popi red, black and blonde hair was in a mop top hairstyle.

"No. I guess not. Good to see you, Popi," he smiled.

"Good to be seen, Teach," she said touching her back remembering what happened a few years ago.

"Yeah, it was touch and go for Popi," Nineteen-year-old, Dorothey said coming from the sanctuary with an almost empty bucket of beetles. "I just fed the giant Ibis and her young. She's been a bit sickly lately." She wiped her brow pushing the sideswept bangs from her eye of her bouffant beehive flip hairstyle

"And how have you been feeling yourself, my love? Jezromiah said stepping forward. Dorothey dropped the bucket, and she ran towards him into his arms.

"Better now that I can lay eyes on you again," she said with a smile. Her angel wings involuntarily emerged and wrapped around him as they kissed.

"What happened, Popi?" Apatt asked.

"I don't have my second set of wings anymore," she said slowly letting her wings emerge with both fairy and fury qualities. Their a bit bigger than usual since they're more of a hybrid now. But I've gotten used to them by now. It's a long story. I'll tell you guys all about it over breakfast."

"Sorry, we missed your sweet sixteen," Sailil said hugging Popi. Apatt and Popi hugged.

"Don't sweat it," Popi said with her arms around Sailil and Apatt. "Hungry?"

"Yeah," Sailil and Apatt said in unison.

"Where's Teerkedas?" Popi asked, looking around behind her.

"He's somewhere out there in outer space?" Sailil shrugged looking at Apatt who shrugged in response, too.

"Maybe you can do a locator spell to find him, Dorothey," Jezromiah said with his arm around Dorothey as her angel wings retracted and trailed behind Sailil, Apatt and Popi.

"No, I can't use my witch powers at least not for two more years."

"What? Why?" he asked with a furrowed brow.

"I'll tell you later, Jezromiah. Glad you, Sailil and Apatt are home again."
