"Dog attack!" I yelled as I had entered the Mistclan camp.

"What's wrong?" Asked my leader Plumstar as he padded out of his den and padded up to me.

"There's a dog attack by the Frostclan border and Mintsky is hurt!" I replied to him while trying to catch my breath.

"Mudwhisker, Fernpelt, Nightwing! We need to go and help the patrol by the Frostclan border!" Plumstar said already running out of the camp.

I started pacing around the clearing as the battle was going on...

"What's wrong young Treepaw?" Asked Spottednight one of the other elders.

"I'm scared I'm gonna lose Skypaw." I replied fearfully

"Oh... Is that all young one?" Spottednight asked tipping her head and looking at Leafstone.

"Seems like you are afraid to lose the ones you love." Leafstone explained.

"Yeah I am." I confessed shyly.

As soon as I had gotten done exlpaining everything to them, the rest of the patrol walked into the camp. I saw that they had been carrying my sister and all I remember is yelling and then falling to the ground.

"Treepaw it's okay. Calm down."

Jaypaw my best friend told me.
I didn't listen. I didn't want to. My geart was in shattered broken pieces. I had a hard time breathing and I didn't want to exist.

"Today we have lost a noble apprentice." Plumstar started the clan meeting. "But we are also gaining a new warrior. Treepaw come here." I staggered to him almost falling off the ledge. A chuckle spread through the crowd.

"Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend it with your life?"

"I do." I gulped

"Then from this day on you will be known as Treestripes. Tonight you will sit vigil and protect the clan."

"Thank you." I whispered.
Soon after most of the clan had fallen asleep. I did what I thought was best.

I ran.
