Hello everybody.

I am solemnly apologizing for my inactivity, nevertheless, there were scarce potential judges and entries which fill slowly but surely the categories that aren't full yet.

I would like to express my tremendous gratitude to the helpful judges Lil_vegas and CelesteO_Writes for their diligence and hard-work to review your books.

Anyway here we go with the fantasy winners as it is high time to acknowledge their glorious names.

Plot=9.5/10

ReviewA very enjoyable book which I found very interesting and exciting to read. The plot felt a bit rushed and I think it would have been better if you had introduced the main character very well in the first few chapters. Your grammar was spot on, the title matches the plot perfectly. The cover didn't quite depict what kind of story it was. Honestly, I thought it was more of a horror book. Your blurb is amazing and gives a clear picture of where the plot of the story was going. I enjoyed your story overall. Keep up the good work!

Character Development: (9/10)

Review: Starting from the title, I think it's really good. I feel like I've heard it before, but I haven't. As for the cover, I really loved it. It was definitely the highlight of the story. It's very unique and looks like something I would see in a bookstore. As for the blurb, it was really good, it doesn't give too much away but gives a vague summary, you could say of what happens. Concerning the grammatical/punctuational errors, there were few. So, it was pretty clean overall. Concerning the character development, she goes from not knowing she was a guardian and just wanting her mom to knowing and wanting to help kill all the demons. She's a smart character and quite badarse. So, it was good. Concerning the plot/storyline, I really liked it and it feels like something I've heard before but it's not at the same time. The whole she's a guardian and has to protect worlds from demons to keep the balance of things is really cool. I also love that she represents girl power and is such a strong female, but is still vulnerable at times, which makes her even stronger. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely keep reading it and feel like it's very entertaining especially from the murder at the beginning which keeps the readers wanting to read more. So, great job and keep writing!

Third Place Goes for

Abhaya Bhairavi by KaushikiGanguly

(61/70)

Title: Abhaya Bhairavi (4/5)

Cover: (3/5)

 Blurb: (5/5)

Grammar/Punctuation: (9/10)

Writing Style: (10/10)

Character Development: (8/10)

Plot/Storyline: (9/10)

Overall Enjoyment: (13/15)

Conclusion & Total Score: (61/70)

The title and the cover were very different, almost bazaar in a sense (as for the cover) but that's what made it intriguing. The blurb was definitely the highlight because it was so well written, and as for the punctuational/grammatical errors, there were only few. Rather then that it was perfect. Another highlight, was the writing style. It was detailed and truly depicted how the characters felt and what Bhairavi was going through. It was just amazing. I loved how the main character developed slowly and still is. As for character development, I loved how the main character developed slowly, leaving room for her to grow more into the second book. I also loved the plot, it was very well executed and I even look forward to the next book. Overall, I really enjoyed the book. The thing that struck me first about the book was how different it was, and how you incorporated culture into it which made it so fun to read, and learn about Bhairavi's culture while enjoying her story and looking forward to seeing what she was going to do next. So, Great Job!

Here we go with a handful of honorable mentions that don't deserve to throw away their hopes

The lady in the weeping mansion by BrutalRice

Title=4/5

Cover=5/5

Blurb=2/5

Grammar=8/10

Writing style=5/10

Character development=9/10

Plot=10/10

Overall enjoyment=9/15

Total=52/70

Review: Your book is eye catchy but it would have been better if you could fix the blurb. There were grammatical errors that made it hard to read. Your plot seems well developed just like the characters. There were some mistakes in the punctuations. Your cover by the way is fantastic and the title is okay for the plot.

The lost wolf by joanna388

Title=5/5

Cover=2/5

Blurb=3/5

Grammar=7/10

Writing style=9/10

Character development=10/10

Plot=9/10

Overall enjoyment=11/15

Total=56/70

Review:  This book is an explosive Adventure which I enjoyed. The title was okay, character development was nice and great.However, I suggest you increase the fonts on the cover. It would be hard for someone like me ( long sighted) people to actually read what is on the cover.Also try to fix the blurb, there were some grammatical errors and it was intriguing but I withdrew some points based on the aforementioned grammatical errors. The plot is nice and this book was just amazing, keep writing and I had fun reading it.

Unquenchable Pursuit (54/70) by @sonjaebersole

Title: Unquenchable Pursuit (4/5)

Cover: (4/5)

Blurb: (5/5)

Grammar/Punctuation: (8/10)

Writing Style: (8/10)

Character Development: (7/10)

Plot/Storyline: (8/10)

Overall Enjoyment: (10/15)

Conclusion & Total Score: (54/70)

I really liked the title and how unique it was. As for the cover, it was also very nice and looks like a book straight out of the romance sections. I think the blurb was definitely the highlight since I loved it so much. I think it was beautifully written and constructed. As for the grammatical/punctuational errors, there were only a few. Moving on to the writing style, I really loved it. It was descriptive and informative but well balanced. As for character development, She definitely goes from being extremely quiet to talking a bit more. However, the readers don't really get to see her develop as a character as much as I would like. Moving forward, the plot was very good, though I don't know if it was completely executed to the extent. So it was good overall. As for the overall enjoyment (please don't berate me), I gave you a 10/15 because I didn't know which one was which and was confused when it came to the main character. It focuses around Kaelyn, however, it's just a bit everywhere and messy for me, if I'm being quite honest. However, it was overall a really good book. So, great job and keep writing!

Kwami: (54/70) by @DeBigLila

Title: Kwami (4/5)

Cover: (4/5)

 Blurb: (5/5)

Grammar/Punctuation: (9/10)

Writing Style: (8/10)

 Character Development: (5/10)

 Plot/Storyline: (8/10)

Overall Enjoyment: (11/15)

Conclusion & Total Score: (54/70)

I really liked the title and the cover. The cover was amazing, and although it's pretty common for the title to be the character's name, I think it was pretty smart. As for the blurb, it was definitely the highlight. I loved how it was written and how you formed it. As far as grammatical and punctuation errors it was immaculate. There were barely any errors and it was very clean. Concerning the writing style, I really love it. It was very detailed and descriptive but balanced well at the same time. I think that the thing that fell short for me in the story was the character development since there wasn't really any. She kind of just progressed, but as the chapters were a bit short, she didn't really develop as a character. We haven't even gotten to know anything about her past yet, so I think the chapters could've been combined, to move it at a bit of a faster pace and she could develop. As for the plot/storyline, The storyline is pretty common but it's not at the same time. Like the chosen one trope, it is pretty common but can be executed amazingly. The whole 'protagonist is chosen, the protagonist has to defeat the bad guy," thing is pretty common, but adding that her soulmate in the "bad guy" gives it a twist, so it's good. The thing that struck me first about the book was how the girl in the cover (I'm assuming it's Kwami) was black. I don't know if you did that on purpose, but I really like how you showed representation, considering there aren't enough black main characters in books these days. I also loved the cover, and honestly, I want to see what happens to Kwami next and find out what powers she has. So overall, I really enjoyed it and look forward to the upcoming chapters. Great Job!
