Namjoon

The weather looked good today.

Namjoon looked up as he stood at the front stage, with one of his in-ear pieces dangling over his shoulder. The sky is clear with some specks of cloud and he could see the change of colours as the sun set. It wasn't too cold for BTS to be there for their 2-day concert. He closed his eyes and breathed in the air. He opened his eyes to the seats around the stadium that would be filled with ARMY tomorrow.

From having to give flyers to people to come to their free concert for 200 people in LA years before when they were still struggling to make their mark, who would have thought that they were able to have back-to-back sold-out concerts worldwide? He turned and looked at his band members. They worked hard and it's great to have other 6 people with different personalities and musical preferences to strive for the same goal as himself. He knew moments like this would not last forever. He was going to do his best for every performance he got to do and be able to look back without regrets.

He then looked at the stage where he knew Hana would be working very hard. It was great that he was able to see her just now even when they were surrounded by a lot of people. He missed seeing her when they were touring around Asia. They would be together again for these 2 months when BTS would be travelling from the US to some part of Europe. The not-so-great thing about it was that they saw each other nearly every day but weren't able to be close to each other with the touring crew's eyes on him around the clock.

He will remedy that later. As for now, Namjoon put his head back to work.

Jungkook and Taehyung were sprinting from the back to the middle of the platform while Yoongi and Jin were scaling the area with their stride. Hoseok and Jimin were moving to the edge of the stage, seeing how high it was from the stage to the ground. At the same time, they were communicating with each other and testing their voice on the mic and the speakers. Jimin executed some of their choreography with some jumps and tested the sturdiness of the makeshift floor. He stepped and jumped lightly making sure that it was safe enough for him and his members to perform. They knew their crew would always do their best during the preparation for the concert but it wouldn't hurt to be extra careful.

When they were satisfied with what they saw and tried, they went back to the stage and took their place and the rehearsal started. They don't usually do the choreography with all their energy as they would during a real concert. It would suffice to know who would go where and their position as they perform each piece of their songs.

His phone rang all of a sudden and he quickly rejected the call without looking at the caller as rehearsal was about to start. He pocketed his phone just to get the call once again. Feeling apologetic to his band members for the disturbance and frustrated with it, he intended to tell the caller off until he finally saw the ID.

"What's wrong?" Namjoon asked the caller, knowing that it was nothing short of an emergency. It was Mr Yeom, the head of the security personnel that he hired for Hana whom he also managed to get him to blend in with the concert crew.

"I lost Miss Hana," Mr Yeom said and Namjoon could detect the urgency behind his voice. He sounded out of breath too as if he was running.

Namjoon could feel his blood draining from his face. "I saw her not long ago and she's backstage."

"She was with Oh Sunmi and then I lost them both. I already mobilized the other personnel."

"How could..." Namjoon gritted his teeth, ran his fingers through his hair, lowered his phone and looked behind him in anger. "Find her, now!" Namjoon ended the call and started to run.

A few seconds later they heard a loud crashing sound from backstage.

Chaos started afterwards.
