Branch and Poppy chased Leaf all the way down stairs. Until...

Leaf: hehe *sits down on the ground*

Branch: Leaf...What are you doing?!

Leaf: You'll see. Ready? OW GRANDMA!!! (omg reminds me of Lila from Miraculous ;-;)

Branch and Poppy: What?!

Grandma Rosie: Oh my goodness what happened!

Leaf: Branch pushed me *fake cries* ( WHY LEAF WHY!!!)

Grandma Rosie: Branch! Why would you do that?!

Branch didn't even try to argue he knew he would get in trouble and there was nothing he could do about it.

Branch: I'm sorr-

Poppy: It was my fault! Don't blame Branch *looks down*

Branch: Poppy please don-

Poppy: No its my fault blame me....

Grandma Rosie: Dear its okay...was it by accident?

Poppy: Yeah..

Leaf looked up and felt sorry for what she did. She just wanted to play around but she ended hurting someone...

Grandma Rosie: It's getting late .... you should head home.

Poppy: Yeah i shoul-

BAM

Branch: What was that?!

Butler: Um ma'am there is an awful thunderstorm outside. There is also a flood warning.

Grandma Rosie: Oh goodness... Poppy you might have to stay the night until the storm is over.. 

Poppy:...All right I'll just call my dad....*Goes upstairs*

Leaf: *stands up and look down* I'll go to my room... *goes upstairs*

Branch:......*looks down*

Grandma Rosie: What's wrong branch?

Branch: That's the second time she blamed herself for me...even if i don't deserve it......

Grandma: That just means she cares for you...

Poppy: *comes downstairs* Yeah...I can stay the night.....

Grandma Rosie: Okay there are some clothes you can wear in the master bedroom...

Branch: Where my parents used to sleep....come on I'll show you.....

In the Master Bedroom

Branch: Over there is some clothes you can wear....I'll be in my room....*leaves*

Poppy:.....*sigh and thinks* He's still sad about his parents....isn't he.... 

Poppy put on a long black nightgown. She put her hair in a messy bun and wiped of her face with a napkin. She walked out and saw Leaf's door open.She looked threw and saw Leaf and Branch hugging. Poppy smiled, she opened the door a bit more and just stood there.                                                   Branch looked over and saw Poppy smiling. He let go of his sister and said goodnight. He walked over to the door and turned off the lights.

 Poppy: *walks out *....Um...so where should um....

Branch: Sleep?

Poppy: Yeah..um

Branch: I guess in my room...

Poppy:o-okay...

When they got in the room Branch walked over to put something away and Poppy walked onto the balcony to watch the storm. 

Branch: What are you doing?

Poppy: N-nothing I just want to watch the storm...

Branch: Well okay.

Poppy: *closes eyes and sits down* I've gotta keep the calm before the storm....I don't want less, I don't want more *starts to cry a bit*

Branch: *looks over*

Poppy: Must bar the windows and the doors..*wipes tear*....To keep me safe, to keep me warm. Yeah, my life is what I'm fighting for...* sniffs* Can't part the sea, can't reach the shore. And my voice becomes the driving force....

Branch couldn't believe what he was hearing anymore. He walked over and saw her crying.

Poppy: I won't let this pull me overboard.... *sheds tears* God, keep my head above water.......Don't let me drown, it gets harder....*starts to cry*

Branch: Poppy....

Poppy: *wipes away tears and fake smiles* y-yeah 

Branch: Are you okay...

Poppy: T-totally 

Branch:.....Poppy don't lie to me...

Poppy: *looks down* It's nothing I'm fine *stands up*

Branch: look at me......*grabs hand*

Poppy: ...*looks*...

Branch: Please don't be upset....*brushes her hair out of her face* 

Poppy: ...o-okay 

Branch:....You can sleep in my bed if you want...

Poppy:...o-okay....
