Poppy let go and realized what had happened, she looked at her hands in horror.

Poppy: W-what happened to me....

Branch: I-I've heard about this....when a troll hits depression they turn....gray

The others come out the lunchroom and was in shock. A wave of angry went over them as they approach the two trolls. Poppy and Branch stood up while in a warm embrace not noticing the group behind them.

Barb: Poppy?!

Trollex: Why are you gray?!

Smidge: BRANCH WHAT DID YOU DO!!???

DJ: Why do you have your bag with you?!

Milton: Why did you leave?

Poppy: *looks down* I-I... *runs out the door and cries*

Branch: Look what you did!

Barb: LOOK WHAT WE DID?

Darnell: You're the one that TURNED HER GRAY!!

Branch: NO I WASN'T!!!!

DJ: Then why did she turn gray?!

Branch:...BECAUSE HER MOM DIED!!!!!!!  THERE YOU HAPPY?!!!

They looked shocked. They didn't know what say. 

Branch: None of you would understand that!

Smidge: Neither would you! You have a perfect life!!!

Branch: *looks away* that's a lie......my life is no where near perfect

Barb: SERIOUSLY?! YOU'RE RICH!

Branch: The doesn't mean I'm happy!!!

DJ: HOW?! You literally have the life everyone else wants!!!

Branch: NO I DON'T!!! MY PARENTS ARE DEAD!! IS THAT THE LIFE EVERYONE WANTS!?!?! BECAUSE I HATE MY LIFE!!!! THERE YOU HAPPY?!?! 

Everyone was shocked they didn't know how much pain he really was. They just stood there looking down. 

Branch:  *walks away* 

Branch walked to his locker, when he opened it a note fell out. He picked it up and read it.

Branch: Dear Branch, meet me after school at the cherry tree... 

After School

Branch: *walks up to cherry tree and sees a random girl* uh hi? Where you the girl that left me that note?

Random Girl: Uh yeah....So i wanted to tell you something...for a while now...

Branch: Hurry up...

Random Girl: So uh...I've liked you since the third grade....

Branch: Okay so?

Random Girl: D-do you like me back...

Branch: ...who the HELL would think i that i would like a girl like you?! Why even try? You don't even stand a chance with ANY guy. 

Random Girl: W-what... *tears start to form*

Branch: *crosses arms* Pathetic idiot

Random Girl: *starts to cry*

Branch: Go cry to your friends not me. Oh wait you don't have friends haha!

Random Girl: Why are you so mean!!! *runs away crying*

Branch sat under the cherry tree feeling upset. All he could think about was Poppy. He wanted to see her again. But who knows where she went.....she could be gone forever. He sat under the tree and cried. He was heart broken.

Barb: Branch! 

Branch: *wipes tears* What...

Barb: Why did you make that girl cry?!

Branch:.....just leave me alone

DJ: Can you just tell us? And we'll leave?

Branch: I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!
