....

The thoughts were spinning in his mind like the foam and bubbles on the water of the dark ocean, the waves were hitting the shore in a calm and steady pattern, the sound rocking his hearing. The heavy green cape attach to his neck was floating in the marine breeze in his tail, the fresh air freezing his air ways.

The land was dead, darkness was growing along the bark of the trees like a parasite. This world had already been taken over by the Heartless. They had passed through the portal and destroyed everything, took those trolls' souls and gone to the next world on their journey of destruction. What could have caused this ? Anger ? Fear ? Grief ?

He needed to know where he should go next, where those creatures would try to destroy again his family. Luckily as he walked on the shore, he saw a huge mass, something moving on the ground, a piece of life that had survive the attack.

The ones that had been living in this world had been unlucky. Their villages were so unprotected now that they didn't own wild creatures anymore, it had been hard to find the right beast before finding the only troll that would run to save her. He had run into the trap like a fish in a net.

The one troll that had been chasing the Heartless moved his bandana down, looking at the creature on the ground with pain; a huge gray wolf-like creature covered in light blue patterns. She had fins and the tail of a dolphin. And woah, magnificient blue eyes. The male troll could tell she was his friend in this universe, and to rassure that poor lost soul, touched her muzzle. She squealed in despair, missing him.

- Where is he ?

- I don't know.

- When is he coming back ?

- I have no idea, I'll try to bring him back, I promise.

The lykar nodded, she closed her eyes, rocked by his sweetness and the familiar touch. Wherever her troll partner was, he would bring him back home.

The tired man helped the lykar back in a safe place, and then searched for the next portal; soon, just enough, it would appear and he would travel to the next target of those creatures. He could try, maybe just once he would save them. He would save her.

Just once.

His torn ear twitched. The portal opened behind him, he turned toward it, his traits showing the things he had been through, the pain and the fatigue he had endured.

But his expression changed to determination; he had to keep going. He would find peace. He would stop the chaos.

Only the next one was part of a boyband.

- Urgh.. there's only one direction to go, the troll sighed, talking to himself.

He then jumped through the wormhole, Across the Multiverse.
