Evil Branch looked off in the direction he had shot the glitter, laughing quietly to himself.

"Stop it!" Poppy yelled, tears in her eyes. "Bring them back! Bring them all back!"
"Can't do that. I'm sorry. Oh wait... no I'm not." He laughed louder, aiming the glitter tube at Poppy and Branch.

Branch continued to block Poppy, glaring at evil Branch.

"Well, Branch?" evil Branch said. "Are you going to join me... or am I going to get rid of you too?"

"Never..." Branch replied, not backing down. "I won't let you hurt anyone else."

Evil Branch rolled his eyes with a sigh of anger.

"You're really going to risk your life... for them?" evil Branch scoffed. "They would never do the same for you."

Branch stayed in front of Poppy, keeping her safe, as he glared at his duplicate.

"They don't appreciate us," evil Branch continued. "All they ever do is say we're wrong. All she ever does is say you're wrong!" he yelled, gesturing to Poppy.

Branch's scowl faded, as he looked at Poppy, who was staring at him with wide eyes. He didn't actually believe this troll... did he?

"They ignore us," evil Branch continued. "We tell them not to do things, just trying to protect them, but then they go and do it anyways. Like that party..."

Branch stared at evil Branch, listening closely to his words.

"We told them not to throw it, but they ignored us. Called us party poopers. Said we were crazy! And then... when things went wrong... just like we said they would... they expected us to fix it!"

Branch looked away sadly, lowering his arms from in front of Poppy. "Branch?" Poppy whispered, looking at him in shock.

"This part is where our stories get a little different..." evil Branch continued, smirking at Branch. "Poppy came to ask me for help, but I turned her down. I stood up for myself, where as you fell for her lies. You helped her free her friends, and even befriended the Bergens along the way. But yet... she still doesn't listen to you... does she!?"

Branch's ears drooped, as he closed his eyes, sighing in sadness. Poppy looked at him, her eyes wide in disbelief.

"Now's your chance, Branch," evil Branch said. "Give them what they deserve. Show them we're not crazy."

Branch looked at Poppy sadly, her eyes wide, as she shook her head slowly.

"Please..." she said quietly. "Don't do this. Don't do it, Branch."

He lowered his head again, beginning to walk towards evil Branch.

Poppy gasped, as he approached him, not believing her eyes.

Branch walked up to his duplicate, looking up at him sadly.

"You made the right choice, buddy," evil Branch said with a smirk.
"Yeah..." Branch said softly. "I know I did..."

Suddenly, he pounced, tackling evil Branch to the ground.

"Branch!" Poppy yelled, quickly running towards him to help.
"Poppy!" Branch yelled back, wrestling with evil Branch. "Grab the tube!"

She looked at Branch for a moment, and then the glitter tube, which lay on the ground unguarded.

"Poppy!" Branch yelled, seeing her standing there doing nothing. "Now! Grab it now!"

Quickly, she changed direction, running towards the tube, and picking it up off of the ground, aiming it at the two Branches.

Evil Branch kicked the real Branch off of him, quickly jumping up to his feet.

"Hurry Poppy!" Evil Branch shouted. "Blast him!" He pointed at Branch, who still sat on the ground, looking up at him with wide eyes.

"N... no..." he said, quickly rising to his feet, as he looked at Poppy. "He's the evil one! Blast him!"

Poppy looked between the two of them, not knowing which one was telling the truth.

"Please, Poppy!" one of the Branch's begged. "It's me. I'm Branch."
"Don't listen to him, Poppy! He's lying!" shouted the other. "Blast him now!"

She didn't know what to do. They both looked exactly the same. Which one was the real Branch?

One of the Branch's looked at her, and then at the other Branch, letting out a deep sigh, before turning his gaze back to Poppy.

"It's ok, Poppy..." he said softly. "I know you'll make the right decision. I trust you."

Poppy looked at him for a moment, and then quickly pulled the trigger, blasting him with glitter.

He looked at the glitter covering him head to toe, and then back up at Poppy sadly, his ears drooping, as a single tear fell from his eye.

'Ding!' Poppy's hug watch suddenly dinged, signifying hug time.

The Branch who was covered in glitter, slowly reached up into his hair, pulling out the hug watch that Poppy had given to him, as he looked at her sadly.

Her eyes widened, as she looked at him in shock, tears coming from her eyes.

"No..." she whispered, shaking her head slightly in disbelief.

Suddenly a puff of smoke formed around Branch, and when it faded, only his hug watch was left on the ground.

     "Branch! No!"
