(5 days left until 1st Journal is COMPLETE!!!)

Poppy and I just seen the worst romance short film ever, or to say it was so sad that Poppy couldn't stop crying. It touched me too, so I too also shed a tear. It was 15 minutes straight, and it's about a girl named Reese who falls in love with this boy named Carlos and the two of them shared a bond together, though Reese had not been well due to having coughs. At first, I thought she was dealing with a mild sickness, until we got around 5:12 in the video where the doctor mentioned about her having this unknown illness, which I had this sad, gut instinct that she was going to die, but I didn't want that to happen. When I told Poppy this, she didn't believed me, saying that the short, romance film wouldn't end like that.

When we got to the sad moment when Carlos finds out about Reese being in the hospital which her illness was making her worse and that part was when Poppy cried. She cried loud and long, and I tried my best not to shed any tears, but failed too. In the end, Reese and Carlos shared their first kiss before she dies. Oh, Poppy wailed, hugging me and we hugged till we got to the point where Carlos was at her grave, putting flowers on it. That was it. Poppy apologized for not believing me in the first place, and she kept crying, and it took us a while for us to pull ourselves together. We hugged each other and I was willing to explain to Poppy about certain movies that have unhappy endings to bittersweet endings and also happy endings too.

We are now watching something more uplifting, even I can't take that much of the sadness, though I do understand the sadness. Which reminds me of a quote that I said in Trolls: World Tour.

"Yeah, it is sad. But...life is sad sometimes, so...I kinda like it."

So, what we are doing is that we are watching our favorite romance series, which still had conflict and humor. Poppy's feeling a lot better now. Also, we watched "A Series of Unforunate Events" series on Netflix. Yes, it's unfortunate, but we were on the edge on our seats to find out what happens, because all I know is that there are several things that are different in the series than the books themselves. So, we are on "The Ersatz Elevator: Part One" and yes, it had an unexpected cliffhanger, so Part 2 we are planning to watch soon. Before all of this, we have been working on our writing prep for Camp NaNo and it's going pretty good and we talked about our characters, especially our main characters, and we video called Smidge to talk about our writing.

So, we are just chilling before we get ready to hit to bed. I've got 5 days, 1 hour and 30 minutes left till I'm done with my journal. Yay! Okay, goodnight.
