Sebastian pov

I have to tell him. 

"You have to tell him," my obnoxious little wolf nags.  

I take a deep breath.

I mean he wouldn't leave me right. 

"No he wouldn't, "Samuel says.

I block him out of my head.

I look down at Phoenix and soak in ever feature if his face before I  start.

"Phoenix I need to tell you something....," my mouth is suddenly dry all of a sudden. 

I look back down at the lovely angle sitting before me and blurt out " we have another mate I don't know exactly when we will meet him or how but our story is written in The Book of Packs" I look at the floor not wanting to see his face. 

"Smooth," Samuel laughs at me. 

"I really don't like you sometimes," I say to him.

I feel Pheonix shift in my arms. 

I feel his hands on my cheeks as he slowly guides my head to face him. 

I slowly bring my eyes to meet his.

He had taken his contacts off and his purple eyes were enchanting. 

"Beautiful," I breathlessly said.

He smiles at me and wiped away a tear I didn't even know I had shed.

 He took one of his hands off of my face and gently started to sign what he wanted to say. 

" Looks like I have one more person to love them," he says with the cutest little expression. 

"What is this Book of Packs," He says as he tilts his head to the side. 

So cute.

"Our wolfs are ancient wolfs with different abilities. Every time these ancient wolves mate with another ancient that means there is a great evil that threatens our way of life. When ancient wolves mate it is always in groups of three," I watch his face closely as I explain all of this to him. 

I was left to my own thoughts in that moment. 

"Do you promise to love us both just as I will to both of you" Phoenix signed on the brink of tears.

Seeing him like that made my wolf jump into overprotective mode instantly.

I picked Phoenix up and sat him on my lap.

" I will always love you and our new mate just the same I promise," I say as I kiss his temple.

He sobs a little into my shoulder as I rub his back.

I couldn't stand the thought of hurting my mate over something I did. 

Phoenix pov

I know why Sebastian got tense all of the sudden at the end of the movie now. 

He was so tense the entire time he told me what was happening. 

I am glad he told me though. 

I really hope Sebastian was being serious about what he said. 

I don't want to be hurt by anyone I love. 

Not again. 

I wrap my arms around his neck and take in his intoxicating scent.

I wonder what our other mate looks like. 

I wonder how my old family is doing. 

 I drift off to sleep as I listen to the strong heartbeat of  Sebastian.

"I promise," was the last thing I heard before I fell asleep.

Sebastian POV 

I walk my sleeping mate to his room. 

I laid him on his bed.

He looked at peace. 

I kiss his forehead. 

I walk down the stairs to find that Anna and Angelina were home. 

"How are you two doing," I say as I extend my hand out to them.

They both look at each other then at me. 

I place my hand on my side. 

"Is there someone you hang around a lot, " they ask at the time.

"Why do you need to know," I ask moving towards their kitchen.

"We think our mate is close to you," Anna says getting straight to the point. 

Pheonix was talking to my best friend Caleb about a mate I think to myself, then it clicks.

A smirk is quickly plastered on my face. 

" I know who your mate is," I tease dancing around the kitchen as they chase me. 

" Just tell us who it is," Angelina says with her hands on her hips. 

Anna was preparing to jump over the island in the corner of my eye. 

Just as she goes to jump my lovely mate walks down the stairs rubbing his tired eyes. 

Perfect. 

I quickly run behind him and use him as a shield. 

His eyes go wide as he stares at his sisters. 

They quickly run over and stop in front of him. 

"Tell your mate to tell us who our mate is Nix," Anna says glaring at me.

I give her a cheeky smile. 

Pheonix gives me a toothy smile before speaking.

"What would the fun in that be," he walks past them and opens the refrigerator.

" You know who it is too, don't you," Angelina accuses my mate. 

He just nods his head and eats his apple. 

While my mate and I made dinner the girls were still trying to trick us into telling them who their mate is. 

Pheonix finally caved after we finished eating out dinner. 

"Tomorrow is going to be interesting," my adorable mate says leaning into me as we lay on his bed.
