I look up at Sebastian and smile.

"Hello my name is Sebastian. I am Phoenix's mate," I smile up at him before returning my gaze back to my family.

They stare at me asking confirmation with their eyes.

" He is my mate," I sign and nod my head.

They were going to find out sooner or later.

I put my eyes on the three men.

Their faces instantly dropped as they watched my hand.

"What happened," Dad spoke up in a broken voice.

I look up at Sebastian.

He takes my hand in his and nods his head.

I take a deep breath before telling him to tell them.

" I think we should sit down for this," Sebastian says in a soft voice.

We sat on the couches in the living room.

No one talked for a while.

Sebastian was the first to talk.

"It started soon after Phoenix had left your lands as a young child," he started to explain every detail of what I had told him.

Word for word.

I tried to figure out what my family was feeling through their facial expressions but the didn't really show very many.

They showed anger at the wolf's who harmed me and joy when they heard about the girls,but that was the extent of their outward expressions.

As Sebastian neared the end of his speech I found it harder to keep my eyes on my family.

"That's about it," Sebastian said pulling me closer to him slightly.

I kept my eyes on the ground staring at their shoes.

All four of them made no movements.

No sounds.

After a while I decided I had enough of suspense.

If they had any negative feelings toward me they would have kicked me out by now, right ?

I let my eyes meet theirs.

Tears leaked from each and every one of their eyes but smiles were plastered on their faces.

Not pity or hate.

I looked up at Sebastian who mouthed I told you so.

I huffed and crossed my arms the cheeky bastard was enjoying my shock.

I made a mental note to get back at him later.

"You better take care of my boy," my father says looking at Sebastian.

All three of my siblings nod in agreement.
"Mom would be proud," Gavin says.

I let some tears escape at the mention of my mother.

I walk over and hug them all.

I am glad that everything is going pretty good.

"Would you mind inviting your sisters over tonight," Amber asks.

" Id love some female company," she says motioning to my brothers.

We all laugh.

I pull out my phone and message the girls the address and the reason they need to meet me here. 

We catch up on what was happening in each other's lives while we wait for the girls to arrive. 

I learned that Amber and Mark are mateless, while Gavin has a mate.

Her name is Emily.

She was out of town visiting some of her family close by and she is pregnant.

His eyes lit up whenever he talked about is mate and future child. 

He was going to be an amazing dad for sure. 

"Dinner is ready," Amber belts from the kitchen.

As soon as she said that there was a knock at the door. 

My dad went to answer it while the rest of us washed up for dinner. 

When I came back from the bathroom the girls were laughing with my family. 

" Pheonix I am so proud of you," Angie says as she engulfs me in a hug. 

" I knew everything was gonna work out," Anna says as she hugs me after Angie.

To my surprise, everyone got along just fine during dinner. 

We made light conversation until it was late into the night.

I look around the room at the people that I cherish most. 

These were the moments I missed most. 

 I can't wait to start this new chapter of my life with everyone there to support me.
