"Beatrice?" River was there in the crowd. I ignored her. Yet, she still talked. "Where's Sunny?"
My ears twitched at the name. My eyes watered ever so slightly. I didn't want to answer that question because I don't want to jinx his chance of survival.

"Beatrice—,"
"He's somewhere," I said hesitantly. River used her hair to get up over the pot next to me. She held her waist and raised an eyebrow. I hated that look. I had no time for this. "Seriously, If Sunny's not here with you, that must mean— oh god," she looked at me. I looked away.
"No no no no," River grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me. "It was your duty to keep him safe! You're supposed to stay together! You love him, don't you?!"

I blinked, "And how do you know that?" River rolled her eyes. "It's obvious since you give it away. I mean, the way you look at him is way too obvious,"
My cheeks burned. Out of all the things we had to talk about, it had to be this.
Don't lie, you know you're liking this What no Cmon admit it No it's not that Yes it is. You know it Stop just stop I'm always here.

"Enough, I get it," I rolled my eyes. I feel like I'm gonna suffer for this. "Cmon, let's get you guys out of here. Now," then they all used their hair to jump out the pot and run towards the window where I came from. They were mixed; Grey and actual colors. It amazed me by the sight of it. Some of them, I didn't even recognized.
River stayed beside me. I looked at her, "What are you doing?"
"I'm not leaving until we get Sunny," she said bravely. I was gonna tell her to leave, but she continued on talking. "Sunny's a really nice guy, and I'm not, I admit. But he taught me a lot of positive things. And I know he did the same to you, too. He could help almost everybody. (A/N: AGH SH*T MY BACK-) He's one of a kind," she looked me in the eyes. I looked back. I'm so gonna regret this later.

"You're right. He is one of a kind," I mumbled. I've always reminded myself that he really was. After everything we've done together, he deserves a lot. "So that's why we're gonna get him."

River smiled and attempted to hug me. I just stepped away. "No touching," she stepped away as well.

Minutes later, River and I were hiding around the castle. We were running around the halls, also making sure not to be spotted. I sighed as I thought of Sunny. Hopefully he's alright. I wouldn't know what to do if he gets hurt.

"Tell me where the rest of the trolls are," said Chef who was dressed up in a white dress with a fanny pack wrapped around her waist. Her hair was a bright blue and her eyes were red as blood.
Sunny laughed, "And you believe me to answer you?" He replied slightly sarcastically. Chef was kind of surprised due to the fact of his sarcastic comment. "Funny, I never knew a happy troll could make a sarcastic line,"

"I learned it from the best," Sunny looked away, a half-smile on his face as he thought about his friend, Beatrice. Chef noticed that the troll was dazing away so she slammed her hand on the table to catch his attention. "Hey, hey, focus on me."
"Alright, but you need a breath mint if you want me to talk to you," Sunny replied with a small smile on his face. Chef started to get irritated and grabbed a knife and stabbed it into the table next to the cage Sunny was in. The bright troll stood still, then glanced at the knife. "That's, uh, really scary, ooooooh," he said quietly.

"You're really funny—," Chef paused and saw a smudge near Sunny's eyes. She squinted and opened the cage. She reached for Sunny but he quickly stepped away. "No touching,"
Chef growled and finally grabbed him. She wiped the paint off Sunny's face and saw his actual grey skin. Sunny was really scared this time, and he grinned nervously.

"You're not even a normal troll!" The Bergen slammed Sunny back in his cage. She closed it and watched as Sunny grunted in pain. His back ached as he hissed. Blood was flowing through his mouth and his arm was as well, where the stick stabbed him from a few days ago. Sunny wiped the blood off his lips, leaving just a small smudge. "Yeah yeah, I know. Call me whatever you want, because my best friend taught me how being grey wasn't so bad, after all. Sure, eat me right now and you'll still be depressed," he shrugged carelessly, a sly smile on his face.

Chef gritted her teeth and grabbed the knife from the table again. She scratched the table with the sharp point of the knife, slowly leading it towards Sunny. Sunny didn't move.
"Fine, kill me. You'll never have a happy Trollstice," he mumbled.

Suddenly, from the corner of his eye, a grey figure was standing there. Sunny hid a smile and looked back at Chef, focusing on her again.
"Actually, I'll tell you where the rest of the trolls are," he said.
"Finally!" Chef yelled. She stopped the knife in its tracks. Sunny darted his head towards a map pinned to the wooden board. "Troll Village is just 18 miles away from here. They're waiting," he said, more blood flowing over his lips.

"And what made you change your mind about this?" Chef asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Because they never liked me. Even my own best friend. She's..." Sunny looked away.
"She's what?" She asked.
"She's one of a kind. She doesn't need me. She never did. I wasn't any good to her," he said. Chef laughed.

"And you call her your best friend?" She laughed more.
"No, I don't," Sunny mumbled under his breath. He mumbled even quieter.

"That's because she's more."
