Marinette and Adrien arrived at the small little cottage that only they knew existed. It was a place they had discovered years ago as Ladybug and Chat or Cat Noir.

The two were glad to have some alone time at last. Once inside, Marinette kicked off her shoes. Adrien did the same with his.

Marinette hummed as she fixed them a snack. She hoped Adrien would like it. Adrien watched as she cooked and smiled.  Here they were barely newlyweds and she was cooking for him. He could hardly wait to try the delicious snack.

"Here you go," she said, placing the plate before him and the other before herself.

Marinette laughed as Adrien savored the entire thing. "Is there any more?" He asked. She shook her head no as she finished, what was on her plate. "I only fixed a small batch."

She explored the cabin while Adrien did the dishes. She decided the upstairs room was the best place for tonight. It was huge and had more than enough space. She set her small bag on the floor, then went downstairs to retrieve her suitcase. She saw Adrien holding it with his, and he looked like he was about to drop it. She took her suitcase despite his disapproving look and headed back to the bedroom. She set the suitcase beside her smaller overnight bag.

Adrien soon joined her and set his suitcase and overnight bags beside her things. He also had their discarded shoes.

"Anything we might need from the car?"

"Yes, our coats, hats, gloves, and boots."

"Sure thing, dear," Adrien responded as he headed to the vehicle. He got the items she mentioned,  with the chips, the things for burgers the small bag of bagels, and cream cheese. He put the food items in the fridge and the clothes he hung on the upstairs coat rack.

Once back downstairs he sat beside Marinette on the sofa. They argued for a bit about what to watch on TV. They finally settled on a documentary about cats. As they watched it Marinette fell asleep. Adrien wrapped his arms around her. He smiled at her as she slept. Awe, she was so adorable. He was happy to have her as his wife.  Wife, he would never grow tired of that word.

Later, when she woke up from her nap, Adrien took her to the small shop and pop stop in town. Once inside, they purchased a tablecloth, some napkins, paper plates, plastic ware, paper bowls, some paper towels, soap, toilet paper, coffee, coffee creamer, tea, sugar, and a few other things to tie them over in case a snow storm hit them. While they were at it, Adrien purchased some of that nice vanilla and mint shampoo and conditioner, his wife liked, and some shaving stuff. He also picked out a vase and a bouquet.

They finished right before 7 pm. Their stomachs growled since they had nothing to eat since their snack. They found a small restaurant not far from the shop. They went inside and had tacos. Adrien was glad he could eat whatever he wanted. He could be himself with Marinette when he had been that way for a long time. Marinette was glad to see him eat something other than salads, fruit, and cheese slices for a change. She had nothing against those foods, but it seemed that was all he ate much of during his teen years.

Married life had only begun, but it treated them both well.

After the meal, they ordered some dessert for the road and returned to the shop to buy warm blankets, a small floor heater, robes, bedroom slippers, a bathroom floor mat, towels, washcloths, a blow dryer, a snow shovel, and a few games.  Then, they went back to the special cabin.

Adrien took out the few decorations he had purchased while Marinette was in that bathroom at the store, and used them to decorate the back and front porches, the kitchen, the living room, and the upstairs rooms.

Marinette made a few homemade decorations to decorate the bathroom, the closets, the small game room, and the side porch areas. She ate some of the dessert which was now cool enough not to burn her tongue. It was alright but not as good as the food she used to help her parents make at the bakery. Her eyes filled with tears because she had not heard much from her father since he moved back to China.  It was harder than she expected to be so far away from him.  She tried not to let her sadness spoil her and Adrien's happiness.

Adrien ate his dessert and cleaned up the mess. He and Marinette played a game, watched a movie, and then took turns in the bathroom before going to the bedroom. He laughed as Marinette blushed when she saw him standing in his boxers, topless. He closed the curtains to give them more privacy.  Marinette climbed into the bed with a ladybug-style nightgown that fell to the tips of her knees, a matching pair of underwear, and some ladybug shorts.

Once in bed, Adrien slowly removed the shorts she wore. He admired his lovely wife and smirked. Marinette smirked back at him. He looked so handsome when he showed off his abs to her.  Adrien admired her beauty as he played with her hair. She played with his hair too. They took turns exploring one another until Adrien lay on his back and held her close. Marinette blushed at how close they were. She was not sure why she should react this way. She was his wife and her husband. Marinette kissed him and heard him groan a little.

She felt new to all this, but so did he. They enjoyed each other as every man and his wife should. That is to say, Adrien had sex with her. The two enjoyed every moment of it. Soon, they grew tired. After one last bathroom break, they fell asleep. The next day, Marinette woke up shivering. Adrien carried her downstairs.

Adrien took her to the bathroom. He helped her into the shower and turned it on. He took turns soaping himself and helping her get soaped up. First the time, since the wedding day, Adrien and Marinette took a shower together. After the shower, which included a few kisses, they dried and dressed. Adrien fixed coffee, and some tea as well. He prepared a few eggs, some bacon, and the bagels. The two enjoyed breakfast while they watched a mystery.

During a scary scene, Adrien held Marinette close. He wrapped a warm blanket around them and pushed a button that turned on the gas logs. He did this because Marinette was still, cold after the nice shower and breakfast. He was glad the flowers were in the vase full of water in the center of the table decorated with the table cloth. It made the cabin seem more of life.

Around noon time, Adrien saw something jump at the back door and gasped. It was a little tiny cat. What was it doing here? Before he could find out, he saw a lady come by, and scoop it up. "Hey frisky, it was not nice for you to run off," the lady said. She waved and walked off.

For lunch that day, they had chips, hamburgers, and pickles. They drank some water.

The supper was hotdogs, fruit, cheese slices, and carrots. For dessert, there were cookies. Chocolate chip cookies, butterscotch cookies, and snickerdoodle cookies. Marinette made them homemade sometime earlier that afternoon.

Yes, married life was great. It was so great, that Adrien and Marinette felt nothing could make life-together better.

The story continues in Chapter 32

            Until then,
