I KNEW !

I WALKED into the stables, through the halls of horses till I found mine, Charming. I saddled him up. I hopped up onto him, holding the reins in my hands. We started off into the fields.

I met up with Taylor at our usual spot, behind her was Jared. I slightly smiled at him, as he was having trouble getting the horse to move. I road over to him.

"Looks like you need some help." I said smiling.

He smiled sheepishly.

"Yeah." He said to me.

I leaned over and grabbed the reins, and started to lead him along with me.

"You got the hang of this, Jared?" I asked him while still looking ahead.

No response.

I looked back to see him staring into space.

"Jared." I said snapping him out of his daydream.

He looked over at me.

"Your going to have to take it from here." I said, before letting the reins go.

I went ahead to catch up to Taylor.

"Hey Tay! Wait up." I yelled up ahead.

I made more horse trot to catch up.

"Hey Y/N! Where were you?" She asked me.

"I had to help your brother out." I said with a sigh.

She rolled her eyes, "He didn't need help you know." She stated, chuckling at what I mentioned.

"What?" I asked confused.

"We've been riding since we we're little kids, he knows how to ride." She elaborated.

"This whole thing makes no sense now." I said.

Taylor giggled and began to ride away, I contemplated our conversation.

"Taylor why are you laughing?!" I yelled to her, as I began to try to catch up to her.

"What's so funny?!" I questioned again. "Taylor. Tay!"

Little did I know she had put two and two together. Jared had taken a page out of the how to get a boyfriend handbook for girls and used the old, "help me—but I really don't need help—I just want to be near you."

It finally clicked after days of grilling Taylor about what she knew. That's when I knew.
