Meanwhile in a town called Arcadia Oaks there was a teenage boy with black hair with indigo streaks, hazel eyes, and was wearing a dark gray shirt, black jacket, and gray pants. He also had a skull necklace around his neck and a white skull belt around his waist. His name is Hisirdoux Casperan, or Douxie for short.

And today was a special day as Douxie was going to ask his partner a very special question. Before he could do that though, he had to wait for his partner to return as he was on a trip.

"Today is the day, Arch." Douxie said to a black cat with glasses and a white symbol on his chest the resembles a Q. "Ian is finally coming back and it's time I pop the question."

"Are you sure about this, Douxie?" The cat, who's name is Archie, asked concerned. "This could be a huge mistake."

"You mean an unexpected possibility." Douxie said with a smirk before taking out a little velvet box. "We've been dating for 2 years now. I think we're ready to tie the knot."

"If you're sure about this. But I just don't want you to get hurt." Archie said honestly. "You just barely got over Nari's death a year ago and I don't want to see you like that again."

"It'll be fine, Arch. It'll work out, just watch." Douxie said before hearing his phone go off. When he took it out, he saw that it was none other than his partner, Ian. "See, that's Ian right now."

Without hesitation, Douxie awnsered the phone.

Douxie: "Ian! You back already?"

Ian: "Yeah, I arrived sooner than expected. I'm at the cafe right now and I didn't see you, so I thought I'd call."

Douxie: "Oh, okay. I wasn't expecting you until tonight, so I wasn't there to meet you."

Ian: *chuckles* "It's totally fine, babe. See you in a bit then?"

Douxie: "Yeah, see you in a bit."

With that said, Douxie hung up the phone and looked at Archie with a smile. "Okay, go ahead." Archie sighed before giving an encouraging smile. "Go get him, Doux."

Eventually, Douxie made it to the cafe. As expected, Ian was right outside wating. He has brown hair with a red streak, emerald green eyes, and was wearing a dark blue shirt, dark purple mini vest, and black pants. He also had a ruby pendant around his neck.

"Hey, Ian." Douxie said as he hugged his partner. "How was your trip?"

"It was great." Ian said breaking the hug. "How have you been? Didn't miss me too much I hope."

"Actually, there is something that I've been meaning to ask." Douxie said as he started to feel a little nervous. He pulled out the velvet box. "These past 2 years with you has been amazing. And you've made me happier than I've been in a long time."

Ian was shocked at the sight of the box as he had an idea of what this meant. His suspension was confirmed when Douxie got on one knee. "Ian Jones. . .will you marry me?"

After a slight moment of silence, the brown haired boy couldn't help but laugh which made Douxie a little hurt and confused before slowly standing up.

"What's so funny?" He asked trying to hide the fact that he was hurt by the reaction.

"Oh man, sorry. I was not expecting that." Ian said as he stopped laughing. "It almost makes this situation even more humiliating for you."

"So, clearly the answer is no." Douxie said with a disappointed look on his face as he closed the box and put it back in his pocket. "But the real question is, why? What's going on?"

At that moment, another teenage boy with dark blue hair, emerald green eyes, and was wearing a dark gray sweater, and jeans walked in the cafe.

"Hey, babe." The blue haired boy smiled as he hugged and kissed Ian. Douxie could only watch the whole thing in shock and disbelief. "So, are we going to get something to eat or what?"

"Uhh, yeah. Our waiter here was just about to show us our table." Ian said gesturing twoards Douxie.

"Are you serious?" Douxie asked now feeling a little angry. "Ian, what is going on?"

"Oh, right. Lucas meet Douxie. Douxie meet Lucas." Ian said with a smirk on his face. "He's my feance."

"Feance?! You've been cheating on me!" Douxie said in shock and a little bit of anger.

"Come on, Doux. You should've known I was going to leave you eventually." Ian said with a chuckle. "I don't even know how we lasted 2 years. I guess you were just. . . Desperate."

"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Douxie asked trying his best to hold back tears as he already knew the answer.

"I never loved you, Hisirdoux." Ian said honestly. "For about a year I've been talking to Lucas and I made up this trip so that I could be with him."

"How, how could you?" Douxie asked and at this point, the tears were falling.

"Like, I said I never loved you." Ian repeated now sounding annoyed. "Now hurry up and get us our table and take our order."

That was that, without hesitation, Douxie ran off and didn't stop until he arrived back at the book shop. There, Archie was waiting for him. "Doux, are you okay?"

"Okay? No I'm not okay!" Douxie said now crying. "The man I loved not only rejected me, but I found out that he's been cheating on me for a year!"

"Oh dear, I'm so sorry." Archie said before turning into a dragon and flying onto Douxie's shoulder.

"Don't be, this was my fault." Douxie said whipping the tears away. "I should've known it was too good to be true."

"But it wasn't your fault." Archie tried to explain. "It was Ian own doing. And for the record, he missed out big time."

"Like it matters anymore anyway." Douxie said seriously. "I'm never going to fall in love or trust anyone ever again."

At that cue, Douxie grabbed his guitar and started to play it as he began to sing.

At the very last note, there was a burst of blue light causing a mess in the shop. Douxie was a little confused about it at first, only to quickly shove it off and start cleaning up the mess.

Little did he know was that he had just made a very powerful vow. One that there will be dire consequences of broken.
