After her conversation with principal Celestia, Sunset had texted the girls to meet her outside the school once class was over. So, after class, that's exactly what the girls did. There was Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and of course Twilight Sparkle.

"You guys got the text from Sunset, right?" Twilight asked sounding a little concerned as she walked up on her friends.

"Yep, that's why we're here." Applejack said rolling her eyes. "What do you guys think it could be?"

"I don't know." Fluttershy said honestly before feeling a little scared. "Could it be some creature from Equestria trying to rule our world again?!"

"Out of all the possibile explanations we'll hear, I don't think that one is it." Rainbow Dash said as a matter of factly. "Otherwise she would've been here by now."

"Maybe she's planning on throwing an end of the school year party!" Pinkie exclaimed. "And she wants our help to plan it and put it together!"

"Pinkie, darling, you're planning a party for after graduation." Rarity reminded. "Remember?"

"Oh, right." Pinkie said with a nervous chuckle. "Welp, I'm stumped."

"I guess we'll have to wait til she gets here." Twilight shrugged. "I mean, what's the worst that could have happened?"

At that moment Sunset ran up to the girls all out of breath. "Sorry, I'm late." She said trying to catch her breath. "I was packing up my things."

"Packing up your things?" Applejack repeated, now confused. "What I tarnation are you packing your things for?"

"Well, that's why I called you girls here." Sunset started to explain while rubbing the back of her neck. "I'm going to California, for an internship. So, I just wanted to say goodbye."

"Goodbye?!" The girls said in unison as they were all shocked by the news.

"You can't leave now." Rainbow Dash pleaded. "What about school and graduation?"

"Don't worry, I'll sill be getting school credit." Sunset explained. "So that way I'll still be able to walk with you guys."

"That's not the big issue!" Pinkie shouted, tears in her eyes as she ran up to give Sunset a huge hug. "We'll miss you! I already miss you so much!"

"Aww, I'll miss you too, Pinkie. I'll miss all of you." Sunset said trying to hold back tears. "But this is something I feel I have to do. So I can find who I want to be and what I want to do."

"Of course, sugarcube." Applejack smiled joining the pink haired girl in the hug. "Go and do whatever it is that you need to."

"Whatever this internship is, we know you'll rock it." Rainbow Dash said, also joining the hug.

"Good luck, Darling." Rarity said as she and the rest of the girls joined in the group hug.

"We love you, Sunset!" The girls said, once again in unison. Sunset couldn't help but tear up at the love and support her friends were giving her, as this definitely made her feel better about her decision.

"I love you too, girls." Sunset said as the group hug broke. As if right in cue, the bus suddenly showed up and Sunset took a deep breath and started to board the bus. But not before looking back at her friends one last time. "Bye everyone! I miss you already!"

"Bye Sunset!" The girls waved as the bus drove off into the evening.
