He sighed and decided he would just have to cross that bridge when the time came to it.

Looking down, he couldn't get rid of that feeling of his chest feeling tight. It was all because of his nerves getting the best of him. Of course, the real question was why did he still feel nervous just by looking at Renjun.

He ignored it completely and shut his eyes, wanting to pretend this was just some random dream he was having.

"Wake up sleepy." Renjun nudged Jeno, seeing the boy slowly stretch his limbs in his seat while the train was coming to a slow halt.

"Are we here already?" Jeno asked, raising his head up and realizing he was leaning his head against Renjun's shoulder. He saw how the boy's shoulder was pretty small. He was suprised his head even fit there. His head jerked to the side, realizing Renjun may have been uncomfortable. "Ah, sorry about that."

"Don't sweat it." Renjun smiled at him, seeing how Jeno still looked a little dazed and confused from just waking up after a nap. He looked around the train, still feeling drowsy and trying to regain his consciousness.

Was that just a dream?

He didn't know if maybe he just imagined it and was sleeping this whole time while nothing was going on at all. He didn't know whether he should have checked or if he would just leave it as is. Seeing how the train was beginning to stop and the teachers were getting up from their seats to talk to their sections, he decided he would check later.

He needed to focus on his schoolwork and get that grade because that was what he went there for. It was for his grade. For his diploma. For his future career.

He didn't need distractions, and Renjun for sure was one that he didn't need.

The boy was fun and a good friend to talk to, he was witty and sarcastic at times, and above all, he was pretty. Really really goddamn pretty to the point that Jeno sometimes would catch himself staring at the boy in disbelief. He had clear and smooth skin, a good body, small hands and mesmerizing eyes.

As much as Jeno didn't want to admit it, Renjun fit his ideal type. He just never admitted to it. He was scared. Terrified to return back to that.

Back to when he was so vulnerable and able to be taken advantage of. He would be wide open and it's not a good thing.

Dating wasn't a good thing.

Not even that, having a small crush or attraction to somebody was the biggest red flag to Jeno. Knowing this, he has no clue as to why he's still hanging around with Renjun. Shouldn't he be avoiding him each and every second?

He didn't.

That was terrifying.

Memories flashed through his head. Words that stabbed him in the heart were remembered. He was reminded of the pretty boy that tore up his heart.

"Jeno, you have too many trust issues and you're not interesting anymore. I had fun while it lasted, so... good luck i guess."

ik its been a while but im trying to upload as much as i could. being isolated at home bc of covid kinda messed up my schedule with school and stuff so i had this book kinda in the back of my mind.
