Title--- Tiberius and the Others

Question--- How come the other pets didn't know about Tiberius until later on?

Answer--- Actually, they somewhat knew he was up there but they didn't know who or what he was.

Evidence--- The skulls in the shed.

Theory--- A long time ago, the pets in the apartment building have heard about a 'demon' that apparently lived with them. They were absolutely terrified. Sometimes, rodents who traveled in the air vents would never be seen again. Those fortunate to escape came back with missing limbs. They claimed that a demon was living at the building. They described it with massive wings, sharp claws and red eyes. There's even a tale that the "Demon of the Apartment" once lived inside the building. Many were warned to not go to the rooftop out of fear for the demon. When the pets from the movie (Max, Chloe, Mel, Buddy, Sweetpea, Leonard) were kids, they sometimes liked to visit an elderly bloodhound Roger and an old hamster Tulip (future character) to listen to the stories they had to offer. Among those stories was the infamous tale of the demon. Not long after Norman came to the apartment building, Tulip decided to explore the place to its full extent and go where no one had gone before... the rooftop. When the pets noticed that she had not returned after more than a month, they knew that something happened to their friend. But they didn't know what, other than Mel believing that the demon myth was real. A while later, when Max goes missing, Gidget decides to follow her heart and go find him. To do that, she thinks that she needs a higher advantage point. With that in mind, she heads to the roof. Upon arriving, she discovers nothing but a creepy shed when a voice calls out to her. Never having heard the story of the demon, Gidget goes over to it and finds the shed littered with thousands of bones. Some belong to birds, other to rodents. One skull, at least to me, looks like the skull of a parakeet... (sorry Sweetpea) And amongst all those bones is the 'demon' when really Gidget had discovered the one and only Tiberius.

Unanswered Question--- Why didn't the pets tell Gidget about the tale of the demon?
