Summer rays kissed our faces;
that picnic blanket kept us in place.
The food had been gone almost immediately.
We were hungry, and hungry for something more.
I touched her waist, twisting my fingers up
and under her blouse, tickling the sensitive skin.
She bent beneath my hands, shrieks and giggles
intermingling with my hearty chuckles and snishould .
Her cheeks felt like clouds, her lips tasted of candy
and her soft hair fed through my fingers like blades of grass.
Too often was I scared of touching her so,
but today I did not care who had seen, or if my actions might have consequence.
Today, at least, is a good boost, the beginning to all of this.
And I will show them that I will speak -- so I started with her.
What I ended up with was a bundle of issues
and a phone filled with notifications.
I should block them, but I already have:
I still know they exist. So does she.
