Day Seven
Title: Ice Skating
Summary: Nya is just as bad at skating as her older brother is.

Lloyd drags Nya onto the benches, holding two pairs of ice skates between his fingers. Sinking down onto the bench, Nya looks u at her boyfriend.

"I'm not sure about this Lloyd."

"It'll be okay angel, I'll be by your side the entire time."

Nya gives an almost cautious nod before taking the ice skates from Lloyd's extended hand. Pulling off her boots, she pushes her feet into the skates and fastens them.

When she glances up, Lloyd is stood in front of her, his hand outstretched. Nya reaches her hand out and gently places it in Lloyd's. Lloyd pulls her to her feet and drags her into the rink. Nya grips his arm tightly as soon as they step onto the ice. Lloyd hushes her and keeps a grip on her waist.

"It'll be okay, I'm right here."

Nya nods and allows Lloyd to guide her around the rink.

Lloyd grabs both of Nya's hands and slowly starts to skate backwards. Nya grips his hands extremely tightly and follows his lead, her legs shaking. Lloyd flashes her a smile as he continues to lead her around the rink.

Suddenly, Nya's left foot goes wide, making her squeal and fall forward. Lloyd catches her and pulls her into his chest. Nya's face turns bright as she rests against his chest, directly where his heart is. Lloyd smiles and holds her tightly.

"I love you Nya."

"I love you too Lloyd."

Two and a half hours later, Lloyd lets go of Nya's hands.

"Why don't you try a lap on your own? I'll be right by your side."

Nya gives a small nod and pushes herself forward using her left foot. Lloyd mimics her movements, keeping to her pace.

Nya pushes forward with her right foot. Left. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right. Left. Right. Nya skids to a stop at the entrance of the rink, wobbling slightly but staying upright.

"I did it!" Nya squeals happily, jumping into Lloyd's arms.

Lloyd picks her up and spins her around. Nya squeaks and grips his upper arms.

"I'm so proud of you."
