"I so knew it!" I hear a voice which didn't belong to Laksh.

Laksh and I both turn our heads to see Samir bhai standing there. With his arms folded and him glaring at us.

I gulp as we both get up quickly.

"B..bhai?" I say as he raises his eye brows at me.

"I am a fool." He utters as he shakes his head.

I look at him scared, I didn't know how would he react.

So terrified. Petrified. I feel like a criminal.

But I am not.

"What are you saying?" Laksh says confidently. I look at him and he looks unaffected. Maybe he knew this was coming.

Early, like today?

"I am saying 'sir' that Tia kept on telling her doubts to me but I like an idiot always disagreed." Samir bhai says as I look at him confused.

What was he saying?

They knew?

Tia knew?

About Laksh and I?

"What did she tell you?" Laksh asks while I remain silent.

You know I stood there all silent feeling so guilty.

But why was this guilt in me?

I didn't harm anyone.

But I lied.

But not about something they should have known. It was my life.

But you are their soon to be boss.

But I am an employee bow and I have worked diligently.

But they will think you took advantage.

But I am genuinely their friend. No actings.

But they will think you used them.

But how.

But they can.

"She told me, that she saw you and her in the club yesterday, but I rejected the idea thinking how could that be possible." Samir bhai said as he had a very wrong expression on his face.

Disgust?

Is he so angry that I hid our marriage?

"Unbelievable." He said as he left the cabin angrily.

"Why the heck is he so angry?" Laksh uttered uninterestedly.

"He felt bad." I replied as I sigh.

"That we are married? If thats the case, I am sorry but he needs help. You are, for him, an employee here and theres absolute no necessity for you to announce your personal life to everyone here. They are not your bodyguards that they need every details of you."

I hmm-ed in response. He was right. I lied about our marriage thats it, never did I lie about things which really mattered in friendship. They even know the whole story of how I loved my husband from hating him at first.

They know I am their friend, and that I am always there for them.

What they don't know is about my family. Thats it.

Laksh must have noticed my frown and thinking face and he immediately lifted my face with his finger.

"And you, Mrs. aren't allowed to over think, okay? You did no wrong, no harm to anyone of them. Don't feel guilty when you are not at fault. You would have done a mistake if you didn't think them as your friends. But you and I both know how dear they are to you. Real friends. I know that. So baccha, don't overthink." He says calming me as I nod my head.

"I will see outside." I say and leave without hearing his response. I need to know what Samir bhai is thinking now.

I go out to see bhai with our gang sitting in the cafeteria.

I sigh and give myself a pep talk and go towards them.

Let them know the truth. Birthday can wait hut I don't want them to think that I don't believe them as my friends.

I love them, they are the best friends I could have ever wished for.

Once I reach the table,

Tia, Neha , Rohan and Samir bhai were seated there and talking.

I clear my throat to get their attention.

They all raise their eyes, and damn they look angry.

I gulp once I see Tia's face.

"Why are you here?" She said rudely.

"I wanted to clear off things." I smiled trying to lighten their mood.

"Oh I see. Sorry, not needed."

"But atleast hear me out. I had a reason." I say.

"Oh yes, reason to cheat on your husband. We get it." Tia uttered.

"What the heck?"

"See Ragini, I don't want to fight or say anything rude to you. You were my best friend, I don't know still are. But what you did is something, I never thought you could do." She said sighing.

"But-" I start but she cuts me off.

"Dekh Ragu, I don't know why you did this but it was wrong. He also has a wife you know?" Tia starts.

So they think Laksh and I are having a extra marital affair?

"I want to ask you something, please answer truthfully?" Tia says.

I nod my head at her.

"You left with Laksh sir yesterday?" She asks genuinely.

"I did." I answer truthfully.

"But-"  I start.

"See, God. Why didn't I believe you Tia. And you Ragini, I considered you as my sister. But my sister wouldn't have spoilt other woman's life by having an affair with her husband. I didn't think you could do this. How?" Samir bhai said so defeated.

"But bhai-"

"You hated him didn't you?" Neha raised a point.

"Hated? Crushed on him." Bhai corrected.

"I was so happy when you said you were over him but now you did this?" Samir bhai said.

You know what I concluded, even though according to them I had uprooted another woman's life but they didn't raise their voices. They just showed how dejected they were.

But I have to tell them the truth.

"How could you Ragini? Didn't it hurt your heart that you were spoiling his wife's and your husband's life? Bol na?" Neha said.

"No it didn't." I heard Laksh's voice.

And then I spotted him infront of our table. Others also saw him and glared at him.

His answer added to their dejection and disgust.

"Cause there's no other husband or wife. We are married. She is Mrs. Ragini Laksh Kapoor, the fourth shareholder of this company.
