Zain and Aditi walked back to the car and sat inside. Zain was here but his mind was still at the orphanage. He was silent on the other hand Aditi was desperate to know how he felt about her surprise birthday gift. She understood that he was happy but wanted to hear from him.

She eventually broke the silence

A: Zain kaisa Laga tumhara birthday gift? (So...how is ur birthday gift?) She asked raising her eyebrows

Z: Aaj tak kisine mujhe Aisa gift nahi diya yaar. Seriously jo Khushi mujhe un bacchonki muskurahat se Mili wo aaj tak mein ne kabhi mehsoos nahi ki. (No one gave me this type of gift till date. Srsly I have never experienced the happiness I got after seeing the smiles of those kids) he said placing his hand on his heart.

A: isiliye yaha layi tujhe mujhe Patha that tu khush hojayega Lekin yeh nahi Patha tha ki bacchonse itna ghul mil jayega...sachi mein wo tujhe kabhi nahi bhoolenge. (That is y I brought up here.....I knew u will feel happy but I didn't know u are this good with kids...they will never forget u) she said smiling

Z: tujhe kya Laga mein bacchonse chidtha hu? Meri niece hai Delhi mein inaaya usse pucho chachu kaise hai...batayegi. Ghanto tak kheltha rektha hu uske saath. Bore bhi nahi hota. ( What did u think? I hate kids? Ask my neice inaaya in delhi how's it uncle she will tell everything. I play with her for hours and don't get bored at all) he said moving his hands in a cross (x)

A: sach mein...bohot sweet ho yaar tum. Generally ladke bacchonko zyada pasand nahi karte (u are really sweet yaar...generally boys don't like kids that much) she said glancing at him

Z: sweet nahi hot bolo ( not sweet call me hot) he said running his fingers through his hair

Aditi gave a wide grin looking at him while scrunching her eyebrows.

Zain smiled seeing her over his shoulder

Zain understood that she wanted to ask 'what was that'

Z: mazak kar Raha tha yaar (that was a joke yaar) he said smirking

A: acha mazak tha...tum bhi na mazak mein Kahi ki baat Kahi aur le jaate ho
(Ohh! That was a joke...Zain u take the topic to somewhere else while joking)
She said lifting her hand in the air showing him that 'somewhere'

Z: haa mujhe Patha hai...Aisa hi hu mein.(I know I am like that only) he said ruffling his hair

She chuckled at his antics

Zain's pov:

Such a wonderful birthday gift it was! Nothing can overpower the contentment I felt seeing the smiles of those pure souls. That experience was ineffable. I am so happy today and the reason behind it is aditi (with a dreamy smile). She is the one who can make me happy, who can pacify me when I am impatient, whose smile can make me smile. I can go to any extent to make u smile Aditi. I have given u the safest place in my heart and no one can ever take that place. I promise.

Zain came out of his reverie as his phone rang. It was Appu's call.

Z: Hey Appu! Kaisi ho? (How are u?)

Ap: Happy birthday jiju. Sorry for the late wishes mein kal raat ko hi call karne wali thi par aankh lag gayi. Subah jaldi mein call nahi kar payi.
(I wanted to call u yesterday night but I dozed off and I was in a hurry in the morning)

Z: it's ok Appu.

Ap: waise gift kaisa Laga aapko? Pasand aaya ki nahi? (How was the gift by the way? Did u like it?)

Z: tujhe Patha tha ki adi yeh sab karne wali thi? tho mujhe kyu nahi bataya?
(U knew everything then y didn't u tell me?)

Ap: wo tho surprise gift tha na kaise batati? ( How can I reveal the surprise)

Z: mein ne socha ki tum mere side me ho Lekin tumne tho dikha Diya na mujhe ki tum behen uski ho aur mera kuch nahi.( I thought u were on my side but u showed me my place)

Ap: jiju aap please Aisa mat boliye mein di ka surprise kharab karna nahi chahthi thi. Aap mujhe yeh batayiye aapne di se kya bola tha? Apne dreamgirl se milwaonga? Matalab aap confess karne Jaa rahe hai kya? (Pls don't say that I didn't want to spoil Di's surprise. U tell me what did u say to di? I will introduce u to my dreamgirl? Does that mean u r going to confess?)

Z: Haa aaj usse Sab batadunga mein uske baare mein kya feel karta hu mere Dil mein uski kya jagah hai Sab kuch. ( Yeah! I will tell her everything what I feel for her and what's her place in my heart)

Ap: jiju aapne yeh kab decide kiya? Aur mujhe bataya bhi nahi. (When did u decide all this? U didn't even tell me)

Z: kyunki wo tumhare di keliye surprise tha. (Beacuse that is a surprise for ur di)

Ap: yeh lo ji ulta chor Kotwal Ko daate. Aapne khud itni badi baat mujhse chupayi phir mujhe hi suna rahe the ki meine nahi bataya. Wah!
(U urself hid this thing from me and u r complaining that I didn't tell u anything?)

Zain chuckled

Ap: hasiye saare daant dikhake hasiye...acha tho isiliye aapne di ka favourite flower poocha tha ab samjhi mein. (So that's y u asked me Di's favourite flower)

Z: Haa Appu ab tu samajh gayi na. Chal mera help kar decoration me. Meine phool mangwadiye Lekin kaise sajao samajh mein nahi aa raha.( Now u have understood everything so help me in decoration. I have ordered the flowers but have no idea how to arrange them)

Ap: help kar dungi Lekin mujhe kya milega?(what will I get in return?)

Z: badmaash ab tu jiju se rishwat legi?
(Badmash! Now u take bribe from it jiju?)

Ap: Haa rishwat me chocolates milenge tho zaroor loongi ( if I get chocolates then I will definitely take it)

Z: acha theek hai angle hafte aa Rahi hai na yaha tab de Dunga ok? ( U r coming here next week right? I will give u then ok?)

Ap: aww my sweet jiju

Z: dono behnonko mein mithai ka dukaan lagta hu kya? Sweet sweet Bolte rehthe hai (do I look like a sweet shop to u two sisters? U both always say sweet)

Ap: aapko tho meetha pasand haina jiju (u like sweets na?)

Z: haa meetha pasand hai par khud meetha banne ka shauk nahi hai mujhe.( I like sweets but I don't want to be that sweet)

Ap: acha sorry jiju aap gusa mat hona mein kuch pictures bhejthi hu vaise decorate kar Dena ok?( Sorry jiju don't get mad at me I will send u some pictures decorate like that ok?)

Z: Haa jaldi karo zyada time nahi hai
(Ok send in fast there is no time)

Zain's pov:
I opened my WhatsApp to check what Appu has sent. My eyes popped out seeing the pictures. Will I be able to do it? looks like Appu has many expectations on her jiju. I have to try atleast. So I started arranging the flowers as in the picture. There were glass vases in the picture thanks to my fans who had sent me these glass vases.(taking them out of the cupboard) I filled water in them and dipped the white lilies inside carefully. I adjusted the candle on top and lit it. Wow! I could do it. Yass....yass!(jumping in the room)
I made six more of them and placed them neatly on the table covered with
Blue coloured rayon cloth. Appu told me that adi likes white lilies and blue colour so i came up with a combination of those two.

I tried my best to match the picture. I couldn't do exactly but it was almost similar to that in the picture. After it was done it looked like this 👇

Not bad I patted myself clicking pictures. I sent the pictures to appu and she appreciated my effort and wished me luck which I was actually in need of.
I saw the time and it was 5:30. I had to rush to my car so that I reach adi's place on time.

I reached there on time and there she came wearing red and black kurti.

She never wore kurti when we went out but today was different. She was looking gorgeous as always and that traditional attire was icing on the cake.

She walked to the car and sat inside. My eyeballs moved in the direction she walked. I didn't want to loose any chance to stare her.

She waved in front of my eyes as I sat there still as if shooting a video for mannequin challenge. I came out of my trance and spoke to her.

Z: Aaj kurti kyu pehna hai tumne?
( Y did u wear kurti today?) he asked looking at her from head to toe

A: kyu? achi nahi hai kya? (Y? Isn't it good?) She said pouting

Z: nahi yaar kabhi dekha nahi hai tujhe set ke bahar kurti me.( No yaar I didn't see u in kurtis outside the set so) he said scratching his forehead

A: wo...actually mera washing machine kaam nahi kar Raha aur sare tops gande ho Gaye isiliye yeh pehenna pada (actually my washing machine isn't working and I have used all the tops so I had to wear this) she said giving a helpless expression

Z: timing acha hai tumhare washing machine ka he mumbled while starting the car (ur washing machine has a perfect timing)

A: tune kuch kaha? (Did u say something?) She raised her eyebrows

Z: nahi tho ( no not at all)

A: theek lag Raha haina? Bohot purana hai (is it looking good? This is so old one)she said tugging the corner of her kurti

Z: purana hai par acha hai...pehna karo kabhi kabhi achi lag Rahi ho
(Old one...but it's nice..I think u should wear these type of clothes often...u look good) he complimented
for the very first time

A: umm...thanks she blushed waise hum Jaa kaha rahe hai? (Where r we going?)

Z: mera ghar (my home)

A: tumhara ghar? Party hai kya ghar pe? ( Ur home? Is there any party?) She inquired

Z: party warty kuch nahi hai tum bas chup baitho jaane ke Baad tujhe Patha chal jaayega ( there is no party. U just sit calm u will know after we go there)

A: ok she said pouting

"Andar aao Aditi" Zain said opening the door (come in)

She saw the table decorated with white lilies and thought "wow! This is so beautiful....everything is my favourite...the flowers, colour combination everything. But wait looks like Zain had planned a date with his dreamgirl. Mein yaha kabab me haddi ban kar aa gayi kya? (Will I be a third wheel now?)"

A: Zain yeh Sab kya hai? Tumne date plan Kiya hai kya Apne dreamgirl ke saath? Tum dononke beech me mein kya karungi? (What is all this Zain? Did u plan a date with ur dreamgirl? What will I do between u both?) She said giving a guilty look

Z: relax Aditi Apne aankhein band karo ( close ur eyes) he ordered

A: aankhein band karu? Lekin kyu?
(Close my eyes? but y?) She inquired

Z: mere dreamgirl se milna haina?(u want to meet my dreamgirl?)

A: Haa (yes)

Z: tho chup chap apne aankhein band karo (then keep calm and close ur eyes)

A: okay

She closed her eyes and he took her hand into his and guided her to his bedroom. He made her stand at a place in the dark room.

Z: Adi tum yahi raho hilna mat ok? He left her hand and went back (u stay here don't move)

A: yeh kya hai Zain? Mein yaha tumhare dreamgirl se Milne aayi hi koyi suspense thiller movie dekhne nahi...she shouted not knowing that he was there itself.(what is this Zain?I came here to meet it dreamgirl not to watch a suspense thriller)

Z: Ahh! Tum itna chilla kyu Rahi ho ek min ruko plz he requested and turned a switch on (y r u shouting? Pls stay quiet for a minute)

He came back to her, held her shoulders from back, leaned to her ear and whispered "mere dreamgirl se milna chahthi hona...Apne aankhein khole" (u want to meet my dreamgirl then open ur eyes)

She opened her eyes and Zain pointed to a direction saying "that's my dreamgirl". She saw herself in the mirror placed in front of her.

She looked like an angel to herself in the mirror due to the reflection of lights in the room. Her mouth flung open in shock. She couldn't speak anything.

Zain chuckled seeing her expression

Z: bohot khoobsurat haina? (She is so beautiful right?)

A: Zain... yeh tum...(Zain.... what...)

Z: shhh! He placed a finger on her lips mujhe bolne do aditi (let me speak Aditi)

Mujhe kabhi love at first sight pe yakeen nahi tha Aditi Lekin jab tujhe meine pehli Baar dekhana tabse yakeen karne Laga......tabhi decide kar Liya tha meine kuch banne ke baad tumhare paas aoonga....isi koshish me apna pehla show bhi start Kiya Lekin waqt Ko kuch aur Manzoor tha....mein Apne career mein aage badh Raha tha Lekin tumhare nazrome gir gaya.....wo ek galatfaimi thi Lekin wo baat mujhe nahi Patha tha....phir kya tha mein tumhari baatonko yaad kar karke tumse nafrat karne Laga....do saal beet gaye mein Apne career me bohot aage badh Chuka tha Lekin zindagi me bohot peeche reh Gaya aur wo baat mujhe nahi Patha tha mein soch Raha tha ki mein tumhe bhool Chuka hu.......par mujhe nahi Patha tha ki tum har kadam pe mere saath thi tumhari baatone mere career Ko mera junoon Bana diya.....do saal Baad tum phir meri zindagi me aayi tab jaake meine samjha ki mein Abhi bhi Wahi khada hu jaha do saal pehle khada tha....aur phir hamare beech ki galatfaimi door hui aur hum dost bane par tum mere liye hamesha dost se badhkar thi Aditi....tum mere liye kya ho yeh mein lafzon me bayan nahi kar Sakta aditi.....Mein thoda self obsessed hu Lekin jab se tum meri obsession Bani hona tabse yeh self Kahi kho Gaya  hai....us waqt tumse yeh baat kehne ki himmat nahi thi mujhme ab Jake himmat juta paya hu kyunki ab mujhe koi dar nahi hai....ab mein chilla chillakar bol Sakta hu.
(I never believed in love at first sight Aditi but when I saw u my perception changed I started believing that love at first sight exists.....I decided then and there itself I will come to u after achieving something....I started working for a show in that process but my fate had something else written on it....I was going forward in my career but became a pervert in ur view... That was a misunderstanding and I didn't know that.....what else then I started hating u as my mind always reminded me of ur words......two years passed away and I came so far in my career but I was left behind in life....I didn't realise it then because I thought I have moved on....little did I know that u were with me all through this journey ur words made my career my passion....after two years u came into my life again it was then I realised that I am still at the same place where I was two years back....what next? We cleared our misunderstandings and became friends but u were always more than a friend to me Aditi....i can't express what u r to me in words aditi....it is something beyond words....i am a little self obsessed but ever since u have become my obsession I have lost myself somewhere.....I  didn't have the courage to say this to u then but I have garnered it now......I am not afraid now i can scream it to the world and say...)
He took two steps backwards and turned a switch on and pointed to a direction. Aditi looked at the direction which he pointed and saw this👇
