PART 40:
The party went by normally. A lot more fun than their business parties. Though it seemed it was their personal party, as all of them were stuck together having fun in their own way. Navya fitted well in their group with the help of Nandini. It was the time when the actual function started and Fab5 was called up on the stage.
Host: So Now we welcome the band which touched millions of heart just by comeback news. FAB5.... The rockstars!!
All of them moved up to the stage in their all time style & attitude. No one could help but admire them. Their faces clearly showing off proud for each other. Truely the rockstars present there.
The host gave them bunch of flowers & a certificate.
Host: So guys... How do u feel getting all this love from ur fans.
Manik: Blessed & Thankful.....
Host: What was the reason that Fab5 got out of Music.
Nandini could notice guilt in Manik's eyes as he heard this, though even before it could come up on his face, Cabir gave a confident comment.
Cabir: We were preparing ourselves for this amazing comeback. I think we proved it amazing very easily.
The entire audience hooted at this statement, which was followed by a great applause. Soon Fab5 got down the stage & the host announced.
Host: And now the queen of the business world, who has now thrown her cards in the Music world & has won the game in her first attempt itself. Presenting Miss Nandini Moorthy...
Nandini walked up the stage & he gave her the certificate & flowers.
Host: Ms. Moorthy u needed are looking beautiful tonight.
Nandini smiled at him & thanked him when he asked,
Host: Any plans about ur future projects in Music.
Nandini: Ohh not really but whenever it will be, I'll be pleasured to announce it.
Host: Ohk... Thank u very much Ms. Moorthy.
Nandini turned away to leave & was getting down the stage smiling at Manik when someone behind him whispered,
"Seriously yr God has made her with a lot of free time...."
Manik heard it & so did Cabir, Cabir turned to look at him & he could clearly notice a change on his face, but surprisingly Manik didn't react aggresively. Nandini walked closer towards him & he held her hand. As she stood next to him, he slid his hand around her back & held her close.
Cabir smiled looking at him, as both Manik & cabir turned back to see the guy staring guiltily at them. "Sorry!!" he whispered slowly.
Cabir nodded at it while Manik turned back answering Nandini's questions.
The event got over soon & Manik was on his way to drop Nandini back. Mukti was going to stay at Aliya's & prepare for the trip.
Manik: Are u happy?
Nandini: Hmn!!
Manik: So excited for tommorow??
Nandini: Hmn!!
Manik turned to look at her & saw her staring outside with a slight smile on her face.
Nandini: Manik... Can we please go up to the hill??
Manik: Sure!!
Manik drove silently up to the hill & stopped the car. Manik moved to the passenger door & opened it for her. Nandini got down the car & opened up her arms intending him to pick her up to the car top.
Manik smiled & made her sit on top of the car. Soon he joined her as they lied down silently staring the stars.
Manik: Nandini... Can I ask something??
Nandini: Manik... You knw u can.
Manik: What are u personally on top of the world for? The hospital launch or the albom launch??
Nandini: Umn...
Nandini was thinking about it but couldn't think appropriately about any one.
Nandini: Both of them!!
Manik: Nandini plz I need an answer...
Nandini: But manik I really am equally happy for both.
Manik: So then why is there a entirely different kind of peace on ur face today? I didn't notice it ever before.
Nandini turned her gaze from the stars to him.
Nandini pov: Ayiappa... What did I do to deserve him in my life? This guy.... The guy who loves me so innocently & dedicatedly. I always had a complaint from u, for not providing me with a father & a mother. But now I have a person who is standing behind me, at my every step, who cares for me just like a father & who loves me like a mother. I can't thank u enough for sending him for me. Manik Malhotra... Manik.... My Manik.... My love!!
Manik waved his hand in front of her eyes to get her out of her sweet talk with Ayiappa.
Manik: Nandini??
Nandini smiled at him & picked up his hand to rest her head on his shoulder as Manik wrapped his arm around her.
Nandini: I LOVE U MANIK.....
Manik: I love u more!!
Manik kissed her forehead & they continued lying down there for a long long time. It was quite late when Nandini said,
Nandini: I think we should head back. We hv to leave tmrw mrng...
Manik: Yes..... But it feels so good out here, just simply lying down like this with u.
Nandini: We can come here anytime Manik.. I think we should leave now.
Manik: Hmn... Lets go!!
Both of them got up & Manik dropped Nandini back home, soon he too went back & packed his stuff for the next day. He was really excited for the trip and also about the Q label album deal about which he had to tell his friends. He knew that the next two days were just going to be amazing for all of them.

Manik: Ohk... So is everyone comfortable? Shall we move??
Cabir: Yeah!!
All of them were sitting in the car ready to leave. Manik started the car & soon they were on there way to the Mumbai highway.
Aliya: Manik yr... Enough of this suspense!! At least tell us, where are we all going??
Mukti: Yes bhai.. I am also dying to know...
Manik: Come on yr wait for some more time.
Cabir: No... U tell us right now!!
Manik: Ohk... So here it is!! We are all going to Goa.
All: What??
Manik: Yes...
Aliya: Wow... This is goona be amazing!!
Abhi: Really amazing.
Nandini: Manik... Why didn't u tell us all earlier?
Manik: How would it be a surprise then?
Mukti: Bhai... At least we could hv packed accordingly.
Cabir: God... These girls & their issues.
Cabir turned on some Music & everyone turned silent.
Aliya rested her head over dhruv's shoulder as they both were sitting comfortably at the end.
Mukti, Abhi & Nandini sat in the middle. While Cabir sat in the front as Manik drove the car.
Nandini opened up her window & stared out, enjoying the amazing early mrng weather. While Mukti wanted to get some sleep.
The journey continued with a bit of chit chat, masti & fun. They reached Goa and stopped at a guest house.
Aliya: Manik... Are we stayng at the guest house??
Manik: Ya!! I thought it would be more fun this way.
Mukti: Amazing!!
The staff of the guest house welcomed them & gave the keys to Manik.
Manager: I hope u and ur friends enjoy the stay sir!!
Manik: Thank u...
As he left Manik turned towards the others & said,
Manik: We have four rooms... Choose who is gonna take which one & soon the staff will get your bags to ur room.
Aliya: I m staying with Dhruv!!
Cabir: No... We r not here for ur romance!! I m staying with Dhruv, we don't want to spend two days taking u out of the room.
All of them started laughing & Manik said,
Manik: Ohk so Dhruv & Cabir.. U take ur room. I'll stay with Abhi!! Girls???
Mukti: We all will stay together....
Manik: Together??
Aliya: Yeah... We don't want one to be left alone.
Manik: As u all wish. Lets meet at the restruant in half an hour.
Aliya: Cool!!
All of them moved to their rooms & freshened up.
Manik: Abhi I hv to make a few important calls, I'll see u directly at the restruant with the others.
Abhi: Ohk...
Manik moved out & called someone & asked,
Manik: Are all the preparations done??
Guy: yes sir!!
Manik: I want everything to be a surprise. None of them should know, is that clear.
Guy: Clear sir..
