So there is a bit of a story behind this one:

I found a picture on Instagram of the entire main cast of Uglydolls as humans, and this particular artist's portrayal of Moxy was wearing these shiny rubber boots, which I just think is so perfect for her character! I hit the "save" button so I'd be able to find it again easily, but the next time I looked it wasn't in my saved pictures. I suspect that the original artist might've moved on to a different fandom and archived all of their Uglydolls posts 😭.

So I figured I'd fill the newfound void in my heart that needed a Moxy in rubber rainboots by trying my hand at my own version of rainboot Moxy. And I made her be into kidcore because it's fun to draw, also because I said so. (⌐■_■) 😂🤣🤣

I'm sort of noodling with a new art style, and this is also my first attempt at colored lineart because that's something I've always wanted to try before. I'm more or less satisfied with the way this came out. It looks the way it did inside my head so I'm glad. (✿◡‿◡)
