Lightstar laughed. Nightpaw took a running leap at her, bowling into the bigger eeveelution. The sylveon hissed, throwing Nightpaw off her.

"What have you done with my father?!?!" yelled Nightpaw, struggling to get to her feet because of the leg the noctowl injured.

"What have you done with our leader?!?!" added Chillypelt, padding over to Nightpaw and helping her to her feet. Nightpaw purred gratefully, only now realizing that the clan had gathered behind them.

"Yea!" yelled Gazepaw, "Tell us!" he padded up to Nightpaw's other side. More warriors started joining them. Psypelt, Iceynose, Echofur, Waterberry, Firefoot, Cracklefur, Blazeclaw, even elders, apprentices, and defiant kits, such as Oceanfern, Purplethorn, Junepaw, Lovepaw and Softpaw, Eaglekit, Snowykit, Yellowkit! Soon the whole clan was standing by Nightpaw, glaring fiercely at Lightstar. The sylveon look unimpressed.

"Hah, what are you measly creatures going to do?" she jeered.

"The only creature here is you!" yelled Thunderfoot. Lightstar scowled at him. 

"You'll regret that." she growled. Her eyes glowed white, and her ribbons flew forward, twisting themselves around the Jolteon's neck. 

"I won't let you hurt my clanmates!"  Nightpaw lunged forward, claws outstretched. She knocked Lightstar backwards, tearing the ribbons off of Thunderfoot's neck. He gasped, coughing. Nightpaw and Lightstar grappled on the high rock, slashing at each other viciously. Lightstar pinned the apprentice down with difficulty.

"You're getting to be quite bothersome insolent apprentice!"  She snapped, having trouble keeping the struggling apprentice down. "MOONBLAST!!!!" The clouds covering the moon parted, and a beam shot down from it, straight at Nightpaw (dejavu :D) Sootywhisker jumped in front of her.

"PROTECT!!!!" he shrieked, a force field appearing between them and the laser shooting down. It hit the force field in full power. Sootywhisker struggled to maintain it, and his move collapsed, the laser enveloping him. The flareon screamed in agony, thrown back. Nightpaw ran to his limp form. Flareface ran over too.

"My son!" she screamed, falling to her knees. Lightstar darted in front of Nightpaw, blocking Sootywhisker from view. The clan was shocked, but they snapped out of it.

"YOU KILLED HIM!!!" shrieked redstreak (redpaw is a warrior now, a flareon.) She ran at Lightstar, Stripesight, Circlewave, and Junezap at her side. Lightstar used charm, and the siblings stopped in their tracks, staring into space. 

"Tail whip!" yelled Lightstar, her tail throwing the four across the clearing. Shadedleaf and Fernpaw ran to their sides. "Lightscreen!" Lightstar shouted, blinding the clan. The sylveon turned to Nightpaw. 

"Sucker punch!" shrieked Nightpaw, pummeling the Sylveon, claws outstretched. "Cut!" her claws swiped across Lightstar's face. Lightstar was shocked, fear showing in her eyes.

"Tackle!" she yelled, coming to her senses. She pinned Nightpaw down. "Draining kiss." She leaned down and licked Nightpaw's cheek. The umbreon went limp, energy drained.

"H-Hyper beam!" she managed, trying not to black out. Lightstar's eyes went wide. The beam struck her body, causing the sylveon to scream. Nightpaw smiled weakly, but when the dust cleared, Lightstar was standing there, shaking the rubble from her fur.

"I told you I was stronger then ever before!" She yelled defiantly. 

"Nightpaw!" Nightpaw heard Gazepaw's voice. "i-I can't see you! Are you ok?" 

"Yes I'm fin-" her response was cut off by Lightstar jumping at her, wrapping her ribbons around Nightpaw. She whipped Nightpaw into the air, then slammed her to the ground. Nightpaw moaned.

"Nightpaw?!" Gazepaw's voice faded away as a mist enveloped the two eeveelutions. 

"Bite!" Lightstar lunged forward, sinking her teeth into Nightpaw's shoulder. She smiled, mouth covered in blood, as if she was enjoying this. 

"Giga impact!" Nightpaw shouted, slamming into Lightstar with the force of an onyx. The Sylveon fell back, but got up. Nightpaw noticed with satisfaction that she was having difficulty standing.

"Take down!" Lightstar body slammed Nightpaw, throwing her back several tail-lengths. "Double Edge!" She sliced into Nightpaw, causing the Umbreon to scream in agony. She felt herself slipping away, when suddenly the scent of herbs filled her nose. Sagepelt  Nightpaw thought. She heard the Leafeon's voice.

"Nightpaw.. sometimes we have hidden powers, and if all fails, we have to use our last resort." The scent faded. Nightpaw's eyes snapped open. Hidden power. Last resort. She thought. Nightpaw struggled to her paws.

"Leave my clan alone Lightstar." growled Nightpaw. The sylveon whipped around.

"Y-you're alive?!" she stuttered, shocked.

"I am Lightstar, and I won't permit you destroying my clan." Lightstar's eyes widened. "HIDDEN POWER!!!!!" Yelled Nightpaw raising off the ground, wings spread and eyes glowing. 

"NOOOOO!!!!!" Shrieked Lightstar as the beam of light shot at her. "NOOOOO!!!!" There was a huge blast, and the world was white. The bright light faded away, and Nightpaw, collapsed, energy drained, she could see her clanmates through half closed eyes. They were blinking their eyes, no longer blinded.

"Nightpaw!" gazepaw and chillypelt gasped at the same time, and they ran to her side, before the world went black.

"H-huh?" whispered Nightpaw. She blinked open her eyes. Her body was racked with pain, and there was a figure standing over her. Her vison cleared, and she could see it was Sparkstar. "Am I in Starclan?"

"No my daughter. We are both alive, though we feared you were not." Sparkstar spoke in a grave voice.

"B-but Lightstar.." 

"You defeated her, when I couldn't. She used Take down on me. I fainted, but didn't die. Gazepelt told me all that happened. You were so brave my darling."

"Wait.. Gazepelt?" 

"Yes. Nightpaw, he's an espeon."

"I'm so glad.. he became a warrior."

"He's been visiting you every day Nightpaw, checking to see if you woke up, checking your heartbeat, confessing how worried he was to me." Sparkstar smiled at Nightpaw's expression.

"He- he has?" Nightpaw asked. Her shoulder pulsed with pain, her whole body was filled with pain. 

"Yes. Nightpaw.. Fernpaw found a super potion in the woods.. she thinks it can heal you. We needed you to be awake though."

"Fernpaw?"

"The medicine apprentice."

"Right.." How did I not know that? Nightpaw scolded herself. "Yes. I'll take it. Anything to stop this pain." 

"Shadedleaf?" called Sparkstar. The leafeon padded in with a bottle in her mouth. 

"Drink." she instructed. Nightpaw reluctantly lapped up the solution. The pain lifted from her body.

"I- I feel so much better!" She stood up, stretching out her wings. The wounds all over her body were gone.

"Great!" Shadedleaf purred.

"Nightpaw, there's another thing." Sparkstar ventured.

"What?" inquired Nightpaw, cautious.

"I want to make you a warrior." 

This book has come so far and i'm really glad you all like it! Wow battle scenes are so fun! I actually looked up moves, so all the attacks they used are things they could actually do in the game, most of them anyways. Lightstar was defeated, yay! But.. was the prophecy full filled? Was Lightstar the spirit? She's come back before, will she stay gone forever, or will she come back? Thanks for all the support my fans!
