Kabeer's POV

Never in my life I've felt better then that day.

I felt as if a burden was less from head.

And yes.

I'll try this time.

Not for me.

For her. For the faith she has shown.

For that small ray which had made way towards the life of Kabeer Mittal.

"If you're done talking then let's go. I've to shop a lot" She said as I cut the call.

"Danish would've accompained you. Why me? " I asked annoyed

Who the hell waste their whole working day in shopping.

Okay fine!

It's Diwali vacations but for everyone, not for me.

Moreover I don't celebrate festivals.

I just wish dad, Aayush and some of my close business associates which probably is formality.

"Is Danish my husband" She asked

"What.No! " I said

"Then why should I take him" She asked

"Well. He'll be accompanying us" I told and she looked at me.

"Why" She asked raising her eyebrow.

"Its necessary. Your security" I replied

"I am capable of finding my own body guard. Well I've one" She told

"Who" I snapped sitting on the driver seat

"Guess who? "She said sitting beside.

" Baani" I warned

"Okay hint. He has blue eyes" She smirked and I hit my forehead.

"I'm good as your husband. Not personal bodyguard " I stated and she frowned

"God! You could've send me Chris Evans. He's captain America after all. Oh how much safe I would've felt around him. I didn't want some Danish or panish to walk around me then" She said dramatically looking upwards.

Drama Queen!!

We reached the mall and before we could open the doors the media surrounded us.

That's their problem!

I dialed Danish and soon there was team of bodyguards making way towards our car!

"Wow! Men in black ! God, they look damn hot in these black goggles and black suits!" she yelled and I looked at her unbelievable.

I am looking more handsome isn't it!

I even have her favorite pair of blue eyes with six pack abs!

And my wife is here drooling over eight bodygaurds!

Argh! I can right now pull her hairs in frustration!

It's commonly called jealously Kabeer!

Did I ask you?

No!

Then shut up!

"Kabeeeeeeeerrr!!!" She yelled in my ear and I glared her.

"I know you didn't want to come so if you want you can go" She said

"So that you can drool over 8 men in black!" I glared and she laughed

"You're so intelligent!" She said punching my shoulder lightly while I gave her an annoyed look.

"You know, I'll tomorrow call my security team too to give me some bodyguards" she squealed and I looked at her shocked

"You're not doing any such thing" I stated 

I opened my seatbelt and shifted a little near her!

"Kab..Kabeer what are you doing" She stammered

"I know how much eager you're but right now media is outside sweetheart" I whispered in her ear.

I can even feel her goosebumps ! 

It was after two minutes she realised that I was back at my place and what I did was just undoing her seatbelt !

"I like this effect of mine on you" I smirked and she looked away!

"I hate you!" she yelled and opened the door while I laughed!

The bodyguards had already made a way clear.

I slid my arm around her waist to which she flinched.

"Easy there lady ! It's me!" I whispered

"It's you!" she spluttered 

We reached mall and she looked at me.

"Why are we here" She asked

"Obviously for your shopping" I stated

"No!no!no!! We're not gonna shop from here" She told and I looked at her.

What the hell!!

"These has international brands" I said annoyed

"And I want Indian!! Just one or two things from here " She told when I looked behind her.

"Good morning sir! Good morning madam" He wished

"Morning Danish! Baani this is Danish" I introduced and she passed him a small smile!

"The mall have been informed that you two are here! You can continue! I'll be behind you" he stated and I nodded looking at Baani who was busy on phone!

"What are you doing!" I asked 

"Well, Mr.Mittal my bodyguard is there!" She said and I looked at her.

"Why! And you said you'll assign tomorrow" I asked and she grinned

"I was just teasing you around ! I have my bodyguard since I became CEO! " She said and I frowned

"Good morning mam" came a voice and I looked around!

"Wait what! Who's she now!" I asked
 
"My bodyguard! Natasha!" Baani introduced

And I am impressed will be an understatement too!

I am impressed a lot! 

" Good morning sir! Natasha !"she introduced shaking her hand and damn her grip is tight comparing to a normal girl !

"Natasha!!!" Baani squealed and hugged her

"Okay he's Danish! His bodyguard" Baani added and they both introduced each other while I looked at Baani who was looking at both of them smirking!

We started walking and I looked at Baani !

"What's cooking in your pea sized head" I asked and she looked at me!

"Imagine something cooking behind us! Did you look at your Danish! He blushed! Oh my God ! A novel ! Two bodyguards falling in love" she whispered happily while I huffed

"You never come out of these love stories and novels! Gr- " I was saying when I stopped my self

"Gr- what?" She asked

"Groceries? Do we want them" I asked pointing supermarket and she denied while I sighed!

Thank God I didn't say grow up a little! 

"Danish! Natasha! You both can go and shop for yourself too" Baani said 

"No madam" they replied in unison and I looked at Danish!

Sometimes this girl can be true too!

Bodyguards do blush!!

"We're on duty madam!" He said and I nodded

"Now fast Baani! I am not free" I told looking at my watch

"As if I'm " She muttered and I raised my brows.

We walked inside a store and I looked around while the manager came running!

That's what happens when two biggest personalities of India are to gather!

"Okay! We'll buy a gift for everyone! Starting from both dads, mo..I mean Mrs.Maya ,Anna,Aayush, gift for their families , Our PAs, Geeta aunty,Sheena aunty,Danish and Natasha" She counted 

Am I not included in everyone?

"I don't gift PAs!" I stated

"This time you will" she shot back

"And why you think so" I asked 

"Because if you'll not then I'll come to your highness office and give her the gift!" she mocked

"You're impossible!" I huffed

"Thankyou! Pleasure's all mine!" She bowed dramatically 

"Let's see the men section" She said and pulled me with her!

Wait!

What the hell am I even doing! 

I am doing everything she's asking me!

Is this just the guilt of that day!

Yes it is! That's it!

Is that so Kabeer?

"Let's go to Zara!" I said and was about to walk when she pulled me back!

"What!!" I asked

"It's Diwali !We'll gift everyone something good and something to be remembered forever" She said

"And why so" I asked

"I want this Diwali to be most memorable in my life!" She whispered looking at me while I looked away!

"So,Umm what do you want" I asked

"I told you we're at the wrong place" She said and I raised my eyebrow

"Why!" I asked

"You question too much! Okay fine we'll take Aayush's suit from Zara! That's it!" she said.

And now here we're!

"We'll take cufflinks and pocket squares for dads but not from here. Suit for Aayush and his dad from your Zara! Jewells for Mrs.Maya & Anna and her mother in law, off course not from here! Set of latest sunglasses for our bodyguards and  clutches for Geeta aunty & Sheena aunty and our secretaries! " She sang 

"Pretty fast! And what about you?" I asked 

"We'll see ours later! First this" she said and as madam dictated we started with people being shocked because till now whole mall got to know that Baani Bajaj is there! 

After an hour finally we were over with buying a suit for Aayush and uncle while a set of sunglasses for Danish & Natasha and CK clutches were also good!  

Going out from there we drove to Amrapali design studios from where she bought some diamond studs for Anna and umm..Mrs.Maya !!

"Now! For you" she said

See !

She didn't forget you!

"I guess, I don't need that" I said

Come on now !

Don't show unnecessary attitude!

"Did anyone ask your concern mister" she asked

You can't even show attitude in front of her !

I got a wife two steps up from my attitude!

Hence now we drove to Jacob Road and she took me to The Imperial India Company.

"We'll be seeing a tux right. Then why not Armani! " I questioned

"Who wears tuxedo on Diwali Kabeer? " she asked annoyed

I do!

"We would like to see Jodhpuri Achkan(Long Indian coat with round collars) for him" She said the manager.

"You decide from these two! Final choice is yours.I'll be back in some minutes" I said looking at my phone and she nodded.

Wait a second! What I did right now.

I let her decide my clothes!!

Kabeer you're not really Kabeer!!!

I came back and she was sitting there.

"Phew!! I am done! I can't do more! I am going home" I said 

"What about me" She whined

"That's not my problem! " I stated

"Fine go! I don't want you too!" She yelled when some people around looked at us while I passed them a mind your own business look !

"I am hungry!" She whined

"Who told you to come and shop! There are options called online no but you like to waste my time!" I huffed and she looked at me for a second and started to move!

"Baani! Listen!" I called but all in vain! 

"What does he think of himself! I'll die of hunger without him! Huh! Vamp" She muttered and I chuckled

"Go to hell Kabeer! " She yelled and I looked at her

"Excuse me!" I said at her tone of talking

"Excused you! Now leave" she groaned

"Natasha!!" She yelled and Natasha came in front in second!

"This way madam! Uh-um sir?" She asked and before I could say Baani spoke

"You're my bodyguard not his!" She snapped as she set inside the car Natasha was in and I sighed sitting inside with her while Natasha drove to Marble Arch!

And without waiting for me she went inside.

Point to be noted- She can become a wild cat ready to scratch when she's hungry!

"Menu!! Will you" she snapped and the manager and he frightened

God! That's fun! A new Baani! 

"Traditional Caprese salad, Vegetable spring rolls, Penne pasta, Mediterranean Pizza, Dal Makhani and Steamed rice,  That's it for me! You wanna eat" she asked and I looked at her! 

She knows she'll not be able to eat still ordering like she's hungry from years!

"I'll share with you!" I asked 

"No ways!" She snapped and the manager chuckled while I glared him.

"I'll just have.." I was saying when she spoke

"I think, it will be enough. Just go and bring fast. I'm damn hungry" she said and manager smiled

"Sure madam anything else" He asked

"Nope" she said

"Anything for desserts mam" he asked again

Can't he see the sir just in front of madam.

"Icecream! That's not even a question. I know my wife well" I stated and Baani looked at me raising her eyebrow while I was looking at manager with 'Ask one more time to her, I'll punch you' look !

"What was that right now" she asked wriggling her eyebrows.

"We're in public " I stated

Was this the reason Kabeer?

Shut up and be silent !

The order came and we had our lunch.

"Which ice cream ma..Sir" He asked and I smirked inwardly.

I like this terror!!

"Well she can eat all" I muttered

"Oh yes! But for now Chocolate mud pie with vanilla ice cream and ice cream cart will do" she told looking at the menu and I looked at her.

I'm sure people must be thinking that I don't give her food!

"I just broke my diet" I frowned and she looked at me.

"Then why are you eating ice cream. Just do one thing. Give it to me" she buttered.

"I already broke diet rules so no issues" I smirked and she pouted.

After completing and she paying the bill because she's angry on me, we went out.

"Now what about you? Where to? " I asked

"Sarojini Marg, Ashok Nagar!" She told and I fritted.

"Wait what! Now there. Baani I'm fed up !!" I groaned and she looked at me

"That's last " she said

"And what I'll get by all this" I asked starting the car.

"Anything what you want. I promise" she said and I raised my eyebrow.

"Anything?? " I smirked

"Yes anyth... shit! Kabeer!" She yelled and I chuckled

"You're such a... such a pervert" she screamed

"Well! I never showed my pervertness like you.  You see I don't ogle! I sometimes think if in front of me you drool so much then.. what about in your dreams" I mocked

"My dreams are only meant for my one and only love Chris Evans" she said dreamily and I ignored because she's mad.

"Where now" I asked as I parked the car.

"Park here only" she replied

We went to Armuse!

And now I really regret coming here!!! It's two pm already!!

"Baani! I've a conference in five minutes! I'll be in the car only" I told as I got my secretary's call.

"But Kabeer.. " she was saying before which I spoke.

"It's important" I stated

"Fine! Go home or office.I'll come by myself" She said

"I'm in the car only" I told while she totally ignored me.

Now I can't help with it.

First of all nothing between me and my work.

Secondly.. What I'm doing is wrong!

We're in a pact of marriage right?

We aren't in a real marriage!

And now I'm thinking that I should've not come today with her!

She's hoping!

She's expecting and that's what I can never be!

I can't complete anyone's expectations!

I can't because if expectations are not completed a person is hurt. 

And one thing is for sure!

I can't afford to hurt her knowingly!

Is this Kabeer Mittal I ever knew?
