Shivaay and Anika reached Aadi's school. They stepped down the car and saw Aadi running towards them.

Anika smiled widely and picked up Aadi in her arms and twirled.

Aadi laughed along with Anika and rest his head on Anika's shoulder.

Anika smiled and caressed his head.

A- My baby is tired, right.

Aa- Yesh Mumma.

Aadi said and closed his eyes while resting his head on Anika's shoulder.

Shivaay was just looking at them with admiration.

S- Who wants ice cream?

Shivaay said cheerfully and Aadi immediately looked at him with glitter in his eyes.

Aa- Aadi! Aadi!

Aadi shouted his name cheerfully and Shivaay and Anika laughed at his antics.

A- let's go then.

Anika said and settled on the passenger seat with Aadi in her lap and Shivaay settled on the driving seat.

They headed towards Baskins and Robins Ice cream parlor. Shivaay parked the car and they entered the ice cream parlor.

Anika settled at a table along with Aadi.

S- so what do you want?

Shivaay asked Anika and Anika smiled.

A- Cherry & chocolate ice cream.

S- And you my little prince?

Aa- Chocolate.

Aadi said with excitement and Shivaay chuckled.

S- Coming right up.

Shivaay said and went to the counter to order.

Shivaay ordered a cup of chocolate & cherry, a chocolate and a vanilla.

He headed towards their table and saw Aadi telling Anika about his day at school animatedly.

Shivaay sat on his chair and smiled at them.

Soon, a server served their ice-cream to them.

A- Seriously, vanilla?

Anika asked Shivaay and he chuckled.

Aadi chuckled too.

Aa- Dadda ish Boling.

Aadi said with a chuckle and Anika controlled her laughter while Shivaay looked at Aadi in disbelief.

S- I like vanilla.

A- Are you even normal?

S- Maybe or maybe not.

Shivaay said and Anika rolled her eyes.

A- You should try this.

Anika scooped some of her ice cream and forwarded the spoon towards Shivaay.

Shivaay smiled and took a bite of the ice cream.

S- Mmmm.. it's good.

Anika's eyes glittered with happiness.

A- Let's share then.

They shared Vanilla and Chocolate & cherry ice cream.

After sometime, they headed home and saw Tej, Jhanvi and a woman around 40 years of age, sitting in the living area.

Aa- Dadu! Dadi!

Aadi ran towards them and sat between them on the couch.

T- Hello Champ! How was your day?

Aa- Shupelll. (Super)

Tej and Jhanvi chuckled.

J- My little prince!

Jhanvi said and pecked Aadi's forehead.

Shivaay and Anika settled on the opposite couch.

S- Mom! Dad! Whats going on?

Shivaay asked them with a confusion.

J- Oh right! Shivaay, Anika, meet Mrs. Vinny Garewal. She's an event planner. Actually, we didn't throw a reception party for you and Anika.

T- yes. And our business associates also didn't meet Anika so I think it's a good idea. And then there will be dancing, singing, wine and so much fun.

Tej said while dancing a little and everyone laughed.

J- Anika, do you mind?

A- No. I'll be happy to meet everyone.

Anika said and Jhanvi just smiled.

V- Okay, so I'll do all the arrangements by tomorrow. I've called the fashion designer, so she'll bring the clothes here and you all can select what you want to wear. Okay?

J- Okay. Thank you so much, Vinny.

V- I'll ask the designer to bring gowns.

Vinny said and Jhanvi nodded her head while Anika looked a little hesitant.

A- Uh... Aunty ji, can I wear a Saree or lehenga at the reception? Only if you don't mind. Actually, I'm comfortable only in Indian wear but if you want, I'll wear the gown.

Anika said hesitantly and the living room was silent for a few moments.

Before Shivaay could open his mouth to support Anika, Jhanvi stopped him by showing her palm to him.

J- Vinny, ask the designer to design a lehenga for my daughter-in-law and for me too.

Jhanvi said and Vinny nodded with a smile and left.

Shivaay, Anika and Tej were a little surprised but they did a happy dance in their mind.

J- Anika, I want to talk to you alone. Can we?

Jhanvi asked Anika and She immediately nodded her head.

Jhanvi walked to the garden and Anika stood up to follow her.

She turned to look at Tej, Shivaay and Aadi and they did a thumbs up together. She smiled nervously and followed Jhanvi.

Jhanvi sat on a chair in the garden and signed Anika to sit down on the chair adjacent to her.

J- I and Shivaay had a long chat. He told me many things about you. He also told me that now you know the truth about Aadi. His birth mother i.e. my daughter. I just want to tell you that I never had hard feelings against you. Being a mother, it's hard to accept a stranger around their child. I've suffered this before. I didn't knew about my daughter's love and everything was so sudden. I started loving Rahul as my son but everything destroyed before that.

Jhanvi said as a tear slipped from her eyes. Anika nodded with a teary smile and held Jhanvi's hand. Jhanvi just smiled at her.

J- When Shivaay brought you here as his wife, at first, I was very scared. I was reminded of the scene when Shivangi introduced Rahul to us and then her death. Being a mother, I was captivated by insecurities. I only have Shivaay now and I can't lose him. I thought you as some gold digger but living with you, seeing your love for Aadi, your care for Shivaay has proved me wrong and made me realise that you're perfect for them and for us too. I'm sorry for treating you badly and I would love to be your mother, if you want.

Jhanvi confessed with sincerity and Anika started sobbing.

A- Thank you, Maa!

Anika said while sobbing and Jhanvi smiled and opened her arms for a hug. Anika smiled and hugged Jhanvi tightly.

J- My daughter. Now you don't have to worry about anything. We are always there for you. If Shivaay ever troubles you, you can come straight to me and I'll pull his ears and teach him a lesson.

Jhanvi said while caressing Anika's head and Anika chuckled.

Shivaay and Tej came towards them and clapped.

S- Wow dad! What an emotional scene.

T- I know right. I feel my eyes getting teary.

Shivaay and Tej said melodramatically and Jhanvi just rolled her eyes.

J- If you continue this drama, you'll both sleep together in a room.

Tej and Shivaay shared a horrified expression and shook their head in negative.

Jhanvi and Anika burst into laughter.

J- C'mon, today me and my daughter are preparing dinner and you guys will prepare desserts.

Jhanvi announced and Tej saluted her.

T- Yes madam. At your service, Ma'am.

Tej said and Jhanvi blushed while Shivaay and Anika offered them teasing smiles.

Tej and Jhanvi followed by Shivika.

A- I'm happy that I'm officially the part of this family.

S- You're a part of someone's heart too.

Shivaay whispered to himself and Anika looked at him in confusion.

A- Did you say something?

S- No.

Shivaay shook his head in negative and Anika smiled.

They went inside the house.
