Elise's POV

I watched as Chase ran off with Dimas's hoodie yelling for him. I yell for him, but he just didn't stop running. I heard a branch snap, I knew what would happen next, so I didn't fall for it and kept my eye on Chase. I then heard Him say in my head, "Oh Elise, you haven't changed a bit." And he chuckled. Then at that moment I felt a sharp pain against the back of my head as I fell to the ground, I heard a low chuckle and the scream of Chase as everything goes black. I open my eyes slightly but then feel a hand go under my chin raising it up making me look at a man straight in the eyes. My eyes started adjusting to the light and my eyes widened at the sight of Him. I hugged Him tight and he hugged back but not as tight as I was. Tears started flowing down my cheeks. "Oh Elise," He said with a smirk, "I missed seeing your face." And at that moment I woke up. My head ached with pain. I sat up. I was relieved to find myself in the same place. I got up, and wobbled around. I rested my body against a tree and breathed heavily. As I regained my consciousness, I started into the park yelling for Phenix, Dimas, and Chase. I tripped over a rope being hauled up a tree upside down. It was a god d*** trap I thought to myself. I could hear Him say, "Dang, this guy's good." I couldn't let myself give up looking for them so soon, so I grabbed the tree climbing up it awkwardly (thanks to my feet being tied together). I managed to sit on a branch untying the knot on my ankles and jumped down from the tree. I then heard the sharp cries of Dimas coming from the woods. I ran towards the sound. "Eeellliiisseee..." He says, "Ya?" I say to him in my head. "It's a traaaaapp." He says with a smirk. I ignored him, I was to determined to care about traps anymore, I got out of the last one pretty easily anyways. I found the source of the sound, it was coming from behind a tree. I yelled for Dimas and ran behind the tree..., to find a audio box. I cursed, and kicked the audio box. I slowly started to slide against the tree and cry. He comforted me in my mind. I started banging my head against the tree and as I did, THE WHOLE FRICKEN TREE OPENED LIKE A DOOR!! I fell down a flight of stairs. I screamed for my life as my body banged against each stair. I bang my head against a stair, about to black out I refused and kept myself conscious. I flew off the stairs and slammed against the cold cemented ground. "Doll?! Are you okay?!" He said worryingly. He can be sly a lot, but he can always be as sweet as candy. I said out loud not meaning to, "Ye-yeah i'm okay" I say rubbing my head in pain. "That was a hard hit, how did you stay conscious from that?!" He asked. "I-I don't know..., I guess just managed" I said again out loud. I started getting up but felt a hand help me up. I took it stupidly. The same man Phenix saw was staring right down at me. I looked into his dark black eyes in shock. I struggled to get out of his grip. He smirked at me with his bloody smile. "Who were you talking to doll face?" He asked. His voice was indescribable. It was a mixture of insanity, and curiosity. But surprisingly this man's voice was soft and deep. I yelped and almost fell backwards if he hadn't catched me. I stumbled on words. "Oh is doll face scared?" The man said with a sly tone. I raise my hand and slap him, but before I do he catches my hand and says pulling me close to his face, "Seems like we got frisky one" he said smirking. I started cursing under my breath. I started getting pissed. "Don't let him get his way. Stay stubborn Elise, he just wants you to be mad or sad, it's the easiest way to get to you" He said in my head, I obeyed and took a deep breath and said demandingly, "Let go of me." The man chuckled and said "Okay doll face, but you'll follow me. And if you don't then my hand will be the only thing you'll feel for the rest of your life." I nodded and followed him down a hall. "Elise," He said in my head, "Let me access your body again, I promised I won't make the same mistake I made last time. Just let me help you out of this situation, you won't regret me helping you!" His voice pleaded and pleaded, I refused. I loved Him but I needed to do this, and I needed to find out what happened to my friends..., without violence. "No, no violence. That's behind me now" he sighed, "Okay, I respect that." He said back and I nodded and said out loud "Where are my friends?" "We're almost there Doll Face" the guy in the hood said back. "Almost where?" I said with a bit of fear in my tone. I face palmed myself knowing I gave in for a second there. He chuckled a little, "You're so cute when you're scared." I grinded my teeth, then let out a deep breath keeping myself stable. We took a turn down the hall. The man broke the silence and said, "You're very calm doll face, i'm suprised with you. I bet you've got a man in your head huh?" I widened my eyes, and thought to myself "How does he know?! I should've never said that stuff out loud." The man noticed I stopped walking and was staring at the ground wide eyed. The hooded man watched me. I didn't notice. He replied back to me in my head, "Doll don't talk to me you always stop walking and act strange when you do. Lookup." I obeyed Him and looked up noticing I stopped walking and the man was staring at me smirking. I jumped. The man chuckled and said under his breath, "Looks like i'm not the only one." He waved his hand gesturing for me to catch up as he kept walking. I obeyed and walked up next to him.
