"Harry, grab your coat, were leaving," Severus said as he stood by the front door to his chambers waiting for his son to come out of his room.

"I'm here da!" Harry shouted as he skidded to stop in front of him. His hair was a mess, as usual, his dads' baggy cloak over a green sweatshirt and jeans.

"All ready?" he asked Harry. And with an enthusiastic nod of his head, Severus opened the door and led him through Hogwarts down to the gates and to Hogsmeade for Christmas shopping. As they walked, the kids waved to them. Severus changed from his cold demeanour to a warm kind person since he had Harry. The kids got used to seeing them together, and often played with Harry and engaged Severus in conversations. As they walked down the streets, Harrys' eyes light up as he saw shop after shop filled with wonderful toys, treats and decorated with beautiful lights. As they walked snow started to fall and Harry tried to catch some snowflakes on his tongue. Severus smiled down at the little boy as he made his way to the three broomsticks where Lucius and Draco were waiting. They would switch their two boys so Lucius would take Harry Christmas shopping and Severus would take Draco. When they arrived Lucius had already ordered a butter-beer for Severus and hot chocolate for Harry.

"Uncle Luc!" Harry shouted excitedly as he flew into his arms.

"Hey, Harry" Lucius said as he picked the boy up and sat him on his lap.

"Hey Uncle Sev," Draco said as he walked around the table and hugged his knees. That's as far as he came up to.

"Hello Dragon," Severus said as he lifted him onto his lap and took his seat.

"Who's ready for Christmas shopping?" Lucius asks.

"ME!" the two boys shouted at the same time. Severus cracks a smile as he takes a sip of his butter-beer.

"Alright, the budget is no more than 147 pounds if you are going to muggle London and no more than 500 gallons if you stay in the wizarding world< Severus says as he set the budget. They tried doing this last year, and let us just say they both spent more than what they wanted to spend. Lucius nodded his head in agreement and the kids were to busy drinking their hot chocolates to care.

"Ready to go boys?" asked Lucius as the kids both finished their drinks. Severus took hold of Draco's hand and Lucius took hold of Harry's and then proceeded to walk in different directions.

"Alright Draco, where do you want to go for your father's gift?" He asked the small blond boy as they walked slowly past many shops. Draco thought hard about what to get his father. To Draco, his father had everything, what could he get him? Clothes? No, he rummaged through his father's wardrobe to play dress up once. He saw he had tons of clothes. New walking stick? No, he got a new one only a month ago. Hmmm..... what could he get the man? As they continued to walk, they passed by a candy store and Draco immediately rooted his feet to the ground.

"What? Did you think if something?" Severus asked at the boys sudden stop.

"Yeah. I want to go in there," Draco said as he pointed his finger in the detection of the candy store. Severus just shrugged his shoulders and lead the kid inside. The instant he opened the door the smell of chocolates hit his nose first. Few people knew, but chocolates were Severus's one weakness. Draco let go of his uncle's hand and continued his way up and down the aisles. Draco knew his father loves candy, the man seemed like he could never get enough of it. As he walked he spotted crystals jars in various shapes, sizes, and colour. These were perfect! He glanced around the shelves until he found a medium sized crystal clear glass jar that had a swirl pattern to it and a green snake on the lid as the small handle as which to open it with. But there was a problem. He couldn't reach it. He quickly ran back to the front of the store, but he didn't see Severus. Glancing around he found the man browsing the chocolates.

"Uncle Sev, uncle Sev!" The boy chanted as he came to a stop beside him.

"Did you find something?" Severus asked as he looked down at him.

"Yeah, yeah," Draco said as he nodded his head enthusiastically, "come on, I'll show you," he said as he grabbed his hand and dragged him back to the aisle. When he got there he pointed his finger up at the jar. Severus looked and saw the jar and knew right away Lucius would love it.

"You sure you want to get him this?" He asked. Draco just nodded again with a smile on his face. It was perfect for his father. Severus, without much difficulty, reached up to the top shelf and picked it up. "This all?"

"No. Now it needs candy to go in it," Draco said as he made his way around the store, this time with Severus in tow. This particular candy shop had a small little... candy bar of sorts where a worker would put candy in a bag for you instead of it being on the shelves. Looking through all the candy he spotted liquorice coins. "Those," he said pointing to them.

"You gentlemen need help?" A worker said as she came over.

"Yes we wish to buy some liquorice coins," said Severus.

"Alright," she said but as she reached for a bag Severus stopped her.

"I don't mean to be a bother but could you put them in this?" Severus said as he held out the jar. The worker nodded and filled the jar then placed the lid on it once again.

"Anything else sir?" she asked him.

"Yes, some chocolate if you will," Severus told her. He couldn't help himself. She gave him a pound of chocolate and then they where on their way.

"Now, did you and Uncle Luc already shop for Harry?" Severus asked.

"Yeah. We went yesterday while we were out," Draco told him.

"Alright then. Let's get back to the restaurant and see if they have returned."

"Easy there little one, I got it," Lucius said as he stepped around the young boy and brought down the diamond tipped stirring rods. Harry knew exactly where to go for his father's gift. He dragged him off to the potions shop and asked the clerk there if they had any diamond tipped stirring rods. When Lucius asked how Harry knew exactly what to ask for he pulled out a potions catalogue from his pocket handing it to him. He flipped to a page that had a corner bent down to signal something important was on that page. There he found the diamond tipped stirring rods and saw Severus's handwriting next to it where the man had created a sort of list. There he listed off how much money he had which indicated to him that Severus really wanted these stirrers.

"Now, there's one more thing...." Harry said as he scanned the potions shop till his little green eyes found the cauldrons and found a small gold cauldron. "This!" he said as he ran over and picked it up.

"This all?" Lucius asked. Harry gave him a nod and then proceded up to the counter to pay. "Now do you know what you're getting Draco?"

"Yeah, me and da went shopping a few days ago."

"Well, let's head back. They may be done," Lucius says. On the way back Lucius stopped to buy Harry some sweats.

"Can I get some blood sugar quills?" Harry asked politely bating his eyes a little.

"Of course. Want to get your father anything?" He asked. Harry quickly looked around till he found some chocolate. He walked over and found his fathers favourite chocolate. Milk chocolate with a topping of caramel and coconut. Lucius couldn't help but laugh.

"You always had a bad chocolate addiction, my friend," Lucius said as they moved from the kitchen to the living room. Severus sat down in an armchair, Lucius sat on the couch and Harry took the other armchair.

"Yes, I did a lot of things for chocolate," Severus said thinking back on all the times Lily made him do things. He always refused, but then she pulled out the chocolate and he was done for.

"To be honest I'm surprised Draco paid attention to me that much to knew I had too many clothes," said Lucius.

"You still have too many clothes."

"Oh shut it you. Besides a gentleman always has to be prepared for any occasion. But for Draco to know that I needed a little candy jar. Well, that was just genius."

"What surprised me was that you," Severus said as he pointed at Harry, "is that you went into my room, in my nightstand drawer and removed my catalogue."

"Well... I remember you always read that when I came in to say goodnight and I thought if I looked in there I would find something to get you so I got you that," he said as he shyly looked to the ground. He remembered the rule he always followed when he was younger. Don't take anything from his fathers' room.

"Hmmhmm..." Severus said as he leaned back in his chair. Lucius now his the album in his lap and he flips through it finding a picture of Harry sitting in his fathers lap on the couch in their chambers and Severus with his arms around his sleeping son.

"I remember this fiasco," Lucius said as he showed Severus the picture.

"What is it?" asked Harry.

"The chamber of secrets scandal."
