Some of the things I say,
I wish they were jokes,
I wish I admitted to needing you more,

I wish I said how much your touch drove me insane,
It took me to a field of dandelions.

Some of the things you do,
I wish I could run away,
Like that time you told me cocaine was okay,

The time you said de@th was safe,
The time you it's fine to be crazy.

Some of the things I like,
I wish they were a dream,
I like the burning metal on my hand,

The burning candle dripping on my skin,
The emotional pain from my mind.

Some of the things that's done,
It's slowly getting to my head,
Like how I pushed you away,

How I wrapped myself deep in the fire,
How the pressure made me laugh.

It's funny ,
But it's really not,

How life takes away everything school taught,
Physics, Math, Chemistry,
It makes even that look easy.

It never taught us how to live,
Left us vulnerable, to fend for our selves,

Took advantage,
But now what's wrong?

It's making every child wanting to go back “home”.
