Chapter 1

Peter's POV

 I can't believe that I was dead along with half of the universe for five years. I figured that during the time I was in that other realm that I wouldn't have aged a day but here I am five years later as a twenty year old. I managed to home school myself for the remainder of high school. Since half the universe disappeared, no one questions education and/or work experience too much anymore. In addition to still being Spiderman, I work at Stark Industries. I'm Pepper's personal assistant. Even though she's Tony's assistant, her workload gets heavy often and I help her ease that tension a bit by being her assistant. 

    I have the job of my dreams and I'm working with two of my favorite people on the planet. Pepper's an incredible woman and the man she's married to is perfection. Tony is literally walking, talking perfection. A lot of you may not know this... but I'm Bisexual. I swing both ways in terms of who I'm attracted to. I honestly think I lean towards men over women. I had a crush on MJ for a bit when we first started high school but that passed thankfully. I didn't want a silly crush to ruin our friendship. We also happen to work better as friends. I have a slight problem though... well more of a major one if it were ever to slip out to anyone besides MJ and Ned. I sort of have a thing for Pepper's husband. 

      I have a crush on Tony Stark... for quite some time now. I could never tell him though. It would tear apart his family, cause a circus in the media, potentially ruin his reputation, and simply make things so awkward between us. I highly doubt he identifies with any other sexual orientation over than heterosexual (straight). I refuse to make a fool of myself like that. Rejection in general sucks but being rejected by Tony would break my heart in every which way. The heartbreak would be so massive that I may never recover. That's why it's better for me to just bottle up my feelings inside and gush to my best friends in private. I'm lucky to have two great friends like them. I truly don't know what I'd do without them. They're also the only two people at school who know I'm Spiderman and they've kept that a secret too. 

      Tony is just so handsome. He has the confidence and grace that I only dream of having. He doesn't care what people think of him. He struggles with anxiety and depression at times but that's due to drama, not petty criticism from the media. The day I see Tony insecure would be the day that I'm rattled to the core. He's also a genius and an iconic hero, far more so than Spiderman. Only people in NYC know me, people know Tony aka Iron Man all over the world. Stark Industries has made such an impact on so many businesses, international stock markets, and much more. His intellect is through the roof. He's one of the three geniuses associated with the Avengers. The other two being Bruce Banner aka Professor Hulk and Shuri (T'Challa's sister). I'm still trying to get the three of them to team up on an experiment one day. 

      Shuri and I aren't best friends but we are on good terms. Her and MJ would get along well. If Shuri is ever in town visiting, I'm going to bring MJ over to meet her. Morgan Stark is a little sweetheart. I adore her as if she was my little sister. My life is as close to perfect as it'll ever be. Aunt May is still alive and well, as I hope she will be for a long time. I'm still living at home with her but am paying rent and all of my own bills. We both appreciate each other's company too. Ever since Uncle Ben's death, things haven't been the same at home. 

       I'm not going to lie though, I dream of being Tony's boyfriend (possibly husband even)... the two of us living together up in Stark Tower co-raising Morgan with Pepper. This is assuming that Pepper wouldn't hate my guts at that point. It's a good thing that that's only a hypothetical scenario and not reality.
