Chapter 29

Tony's POV

Time Skip... The Next Day...

 Peter decided it would be a great idea to do a live stream on Instagram. He wants the world to see us interact with each other on a more personal level, that way everyone can get a feel that we truly care for another one rather than him being my "sugar baby" or some other stereotypical thing. The two of us sit together in Peter's room at his aunt's place. Aunt May is out for the day with a couple of her gal pals so we have the place to ourselves. Peter bites his lip before pressing the "go live" button on Instagram. Within seconds, we're live together streaming to the entire world. 

     People come pouring onto the live stream literally by the thousands. We graciously greet everyone before asking them the obvious question. That question being what did they think of our public announcement yesterday. Peter's right though, nine out of every ten people on average say that they support us and are glad that we went public. A lot of people ask how Pepper's doing too. I call her on the phone for a few minutes and let her answer that question for herself. She's doing pretty well though. That woman really is a trooper and a wonderful mother to our incredible daughter. People also ask for how Morgan reacted to the news of our split. "Well everyone, she had a tantrum at first, but she came around to accepting it. She adores Peter though, she has for years. She's thrilled to have him around more than ever before." 

       One comment comes in though that bothers Peter. He's trying to mask his hurt by it but I can see right through the mask. The comment says the following: "Tony doesn't truly love him. Who could ever love a guy who looks like Peter? He comes across as a total dweeb. He's also just a play toy to Tony. He'll be rid of him soon enough." I glare into the camera immediately. "How dare you say that. You're a coward though because you're saying it behind a computer or phone screen rather than to our faces. I love Peter with all of my heart. I loved him like a son before but I love him as my lover now. He's a grown man now, we both are. I'm with him because I adore every aspect of him. For example, he has the most breathtaking smile and his personality while opposite from mine, we mesh well together."

       I glance at Peter fondly and wipe away a tear that threatens to slip down his cheek. "I adore you. I don't care what some stupid internet troll says." He gives me a soft smile and that's enough reason for me to crash my lips onto his right then and there. Hundreds of thousands of people watch us kiss on this public live stream. A lot of hearts come pouring across the screen but that's not the important thing. The important message that I'm conveying with my actions is that everyone knows that I truly love Peter and neither of us is using the other for personal gain. We're growing together as a couple. We're on a beautiful journey and no one is going to tear us apart, I won't let them.
