          Blood, sweat, and tears.

          That's what it took to survive. You had to except the loss you would endure. It hurt like hell, but that was life. If only they knew what the world would become of. There lied the dead, decaying and rotting. No one expected it, the dead all of a sudden rising from their grave only to feast upon the first life they see. People living in constant fear that they would be next.

          Yet, there lied a young man with no remorse. The world had spun around for him. Apollo Smith had turned into the person in his nightmares. A monster. His greatest fears only coming back to haunt him would lead him into a cycle of vengeance.

          The path he followed led him to be a destruction to himself, he was his own enemy.

          His life in the beginning of the apocalypse made him who he was right now. And there was no turning back... He could never bring back everything he lost.

          Apollo found himself hopeless, in a constant labyrinth. There was absolutely nothing that would bring him back to the old him. Or so he thought.

          Never in a million years did he think that when he stopped to help a little girl, she would become his sister. Phoenix would become someone he was willing to die for.

          Now it was a journey for the two of them but, soon enough it wouldn't just be them. They would soon cross paths with a girl who was still too hopeful this nightmare would end.

          Because Sierra Reyes never lost the spark she always had, not yet. However, like the moon blocking the sun to form an eclipse, someone would block her from the light of warmth and bliss. Sierra's spark would die along with any kindness left in her.

          She would regret the path she chose and face someone she thought could change.

          The boy who hated the world around him would soon meet his complete opposite. They would clash into each other only to end up suffering.

this book has gone through a lot of unpublishing and editing. i love this book so much and want to be able to tell you guys apollo and sierra's story so i refurbished it.

i took out a few characters for the reason that i didn't have their story planned out. but as you could tell, from now on this is apollo and sierra's story and will be told by their point of view.

it will start out as apollo's pov then will moved to sierra's and back and forth.
