"Duke, what have we said about using our powers without the mask?" Max asked, laying on his back on the couch in his living room. His friend and partner Duke was sitting in a wooden chair at a small table. The large mutt looked a little out of place in the Jack Russell terrier's apartment, everything being a little smaller than what he was accustomed to. Looking up from his coffee, the mutt replied, "You do realize that everyone knows who we are, right?"

"Everyone at D.O.G. Not the rest of New York City," Max pointed out. Sighing, he continued, "Look, I just don't want someone finding out who we truly are and using information they found online against us."

"Someone like Cogsworth?" Duke mumbled, wringing his giant paws nervously. He had practically spat out the name. Recalling what the professor had put the both of them through just so he could take over the world, Max nodded his head quietly as he murmured, "Yeah, someone like him." Silence fell over the apartment. The only sound was coming from outside, the normal traffic.

That is until a weird sound like a rocket caught Max and Duke's attention. Confused, they raced over to the window to find strange objects flying in the sky and split up into two groups. "That group is heading for the mayor," Duke pointed out. Heart pounding, Max spoke firmly, "Suit up and get us over there."
