Percy's P.O.V

I ran outside and spotted Leo.

"Hey!" I called out to him. He turned and caught eyes with me.

"Where's Piper?" He asked. I shrugged. Then I saw her. She was limping pretty badly. I ran to her and let her lean against me.

"What happened?" I asked her.

"I got shot." She muttered. I looked to Leo and he searched in his tool belt. He produced a small block of ambrosia from it.

"Really? You have ambrosia in there and not money?" I asked. He just shrugged.

"Don't go asking me about how this works. I have no clue." He replied. I broke off a piece and handed it to Piper. She quickly ate it and soon her leg started to heal. I brought by fingers to my lips and whistled three times. A black and white blur landed in front of us and I recognised them as Blackjack and one of his friends.
Yo Boss! He shouted.

"Hey Blackjack." I said and stroked him.
Do you have any doughnuts?

I ignored that statement.

"I'll ride Blackjack with Piper, you can ride the other one, Leo." I said. I helped Piper on and then climbed onto Blackjack. Out of the corner of my eye I saw six people come out of the building. The robot and god I had fought, a guy wearing what appeared to be the American flag, a woman that looked like a red headed cat-woman, a guy in a lab coat and a blonde guy with a bow.

"Go!" I shouted and we took off into the sky. I glanced behind me and saw the god and the robot flying after us. I then saw a large black jet take off and then come after us. Schist schist schist schist schist.

"Faster." I urged Blackjack. His wings strained as he beat them faster. Everything seemed to blur together at how fast we were going. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the robot shoot a burst of crackling energy from his palm.

"Watch out!" I cried. Blackjack swerved and avoided the blast. Suddenly storm clouds came above us and the smell of ozone filled the air. Uh oh. What did we do to anger Zeus now? Lightning struck, missing Blackjacks wing by millimetres. He shrieked in fear and flew faster. He swerved to avoid another lightning strike but crashed right into Leo's pegasus. They tumbled togethor and a sense of weightlessness washed over me. I vaguely heard Piper scream. I saw a lake far beneath us. Thank gods. I grabbed her waist and Leo's shoulder and pulled them closer.

"Hold on!" I yelled to them and concentrated on the water beneath us. I felt the familiar tug in my gut and the water rose up to meet us.

"Hold your breath!" I shouted as the water enveloped us.
