POV: Chronos

As I woke up I smelled something that was familiar. Following my nose after getting dressed I found myself in a small kitchen with the other, humanoid members of my army. Looking around I saw that everyone had plates of bacon, eggs, grits, biscuits, gravy, and other foods fit for a healthy meal. Looking at Mustado, he clearly had the most food of everyone. "Chronos," he said waiving me over after finishing a fifth serving, "I just remembered, the man who saved my life taught me a single technique which might be possible in this battle, if I am given time to charge the attack, I might be able to kill him." "Yeah," Knight said perking up, "Why don't we use Temporal Prison to kill him?" Knight asked as I scowled. "Because I tried," I said with a sigh, "and failed. It appears that he is immune to the effects of time." "So is he killable?" Knight asked. "I don't know." I responded getting my food. "I tried that when I was first tasked with stopping him. I only survived by fleeing." "So this could all be for nothing?" Knight asked as I got up. "We will kill him." I said, "No matter the cost." "We won't be able to do a damn thing if we're all dead!" Knight shouted as I walked off.

POV: Detective

I sat down across from Logan as Stiker sat away from everyone minus Rocca and Aaron. "So Logan, how long have ya been a member of Night Raid?" I asked taking off my hat. "Most of my life." He responded, "After learning the Hokuto Shinken, I made my way back home only to see that it was destroyed. Afterwards I found Najenda and joined Night Raid. You?" "I've been a member for at most a year now." I responded as Hokuto sat beside me. "So you know the Hokuto Shinken Logan?" He asked as I noticed they had a similar build. "Yes." He responded, "I learned it from my master Kenshiro." "Remember, most multiverses share characteristics and inhabitants." Chronos said as he jumped into the conversation, "So it makes sense that people like Kenshiro exist in different universes, including some where he was never a teacher." "What does that mean?" Logan asked as bones started to leave from his hand. "It means that Kenshiro had a similar journey to yours." I added.

POV: Lantern

As I sat down beside the Farmboy I noticed that he was shaking. "Scared?" I asked as I started to cut into my food. "Terrified." He said mixing his food, "You?" "Not scared, but nervous." I answered, "Green Lanterns don't show fear, but we still get nervous. We just have the will to overcome it." "Great." Farmboy weakly muttered, "I'm no match for anyone here." "Not true." I said taking off my ring as my clothes changed to the normal tshirt and jeans I had on earlier, "I'm just as human as you. We'll make it through this." "Thanks." Farmboy said as he gained a bit of confidence. "You'll be fine boy." Galehaut said with a booming laugh. "I'll be covering most of the fighting for y'all." "I believe we'll all have to take this guy on." I said rolling my eyes, "Or else we wouldn't be here." "I'm still the strongest warrior here." Galehaut said as he sat down beside Farmboy.

POV: Michael

I sat down next to the 'vampire' since I wanted to learn more about him, not believing that he was a vampire. "So are you a vampire?" I asked as I sat down across from him. "Yes I am boy." He said as I started playing a bit of music to wake myself up. "That's a familiar piece." Vampire said after he 'recognized' the piece. "That's the Diary of the Unknown Soldier. Good read, although they missed one line at the end." "What do ya mean?" I asked as he laughed, "The Rhythms of Death, A Symphony of War. The Cacophony of History." He said as he adjusted his large-brimmed hat, "It was a line in the original diary. Much more impressive than what they said. Whoever they are." "It's a band named Sabaton." I answered with a piece of bacon in my mouth "You realize that is a very impolite to eat with an open mouth and have a hat on at the table?" Vampire said as he set his large hat down to eat his breakfast. "Yeah," I responded, "but I don't quite care." "Fair enough." Vampire said as he covered his mouth, "So who is this Sabaton you speak of?" "They're a Swedish Metal band." I answered pulling up a playlist of Sabaton, "They write songs about war. This is the Ballad of the Bull, probably my favorite song by them." "I remember that day." Vampire said with a smirk, "Leslie was one hell of a fighter, and an even better medic." "Wait, you fought in that battle?" I asked, dumbfounded at this revelation. "I was the one who provided covering fire for the 'Bull.' The Nazis weren't the only ones fearful of the shotgun." Vampire said, pulling out a knife as I laughed "Shotguns are pretty powerful weapons." I said as I took off my hat as The Red Baron by Sabaton started playing. "The Red Baron," Vampire aid with a laugh, "He was a tough son of a bitch to kill." "You killed the Red Baron?" I asked a he reached into his coat and pulled out an old German Luger. "Took this from his corpse." he said placing the weapon that should be in a museum on the table. "Do ya only use weapons from World War 1?" I asked. "Yes and no." Vampire said, "I have a blunderbuss that I like to use when the mission calls for it. But I prefer to use my Winchester Model 97, MTs255, and DWM Artillery Luger."

"Lead-based ammunition is still a messy alternative." The Jedi said as he sat beside me. "Energy weapons are far more efficient." "I'd argue against that." Vampire said with a smirk. "Well," I said pulling out my Energon revolver, and setting it on the table, "I've used both. Ballistic weapons tend to do more damage, but it's all in the shrapnel of the bullet. Meanwhile Laser and Energy weapons are less damaging but heal better." "We don't have energy weapons," Vampire said tossing up a World War I era shotgun on the table, "and I doubt we ever will." "Besides," Jedi aid as he placed a strange object on the table, "the kyber crystals in my knife and staff hold more power than the energy cells in my Starfighter." "What crystals?" Vampire asked as he put up his weapons, "They power lightsabers." I answered. "Aren't those the things in Star Wars?" Vampire asked as Jedi was confused "Yes." I answered as Chronos spoke up. "Finish your meals men, we leave in 10 minutes."

POV: Chronos

After everyone had finished breakfast, I guided the melee and close ranged fighters to their hiding spots before taking Galehaut with me to face down Yorsin. "You ready?" I asked the Epic beside me. "I was born ready." He answered as he cracked his bones. "Don't get too cocky now." I said as heard the M2TPS warn me of a nearby portal. "He's here." I stood there and watched as a crimson portal opened, with a tan skinned man stepped out of the portal adorned in black robes. "If it isn't my dear friend Chronos." Yorsin said as he stepped closer to me and Galehaut, "Or should I say Michael? Or did he die that same day as Ricky?"
