Gabriel walked into school on the Monday morning, the rest of his siblings going off to hunt down everyone seen at the party. Gabriel was going to begin his hunt for the other prankster, beginning with either talking to Sam or going to the science storeroom. Although he encountered something along the way that changed those plans entirely.

Gabriel was going to his locker to get his books so he wouldn't be too late to class. And the moment he opened his locker, a mountain of ping pong balls fell out. His immediately reaction was to jump back, which only made him trip over, collapsing onto the ground surrounded by the ping pong balls.

Everyone in the hallway had looked up and started whispering as they saw The Trickster surrounded by what was obviously a prank with a shocked expression. Some laughed a little bit at him but shut up when he shot them a glare.

Gabe stood, straightening his clothes and pretending none of that just happened. He grabbed his books, throwing out a few stray ping pong balls from his locker and slammed it behind him. He began to walk off until he saw a note amongst the balls. He picked it up and read it.

'Want to start a war huh? Well, you asked for it.'

Gabriel froze, looking at the note in shock. He had only mentioned to his family that he had declared war on this guy. Which meant...no, they wouldn't do this. Maybe someone overheard him while he was talking to Castiel about it at the party.

Gabriel folded the piece of paper, putting it in his pocket and walked off, kicking away all the balls on the floor. What he didn't notice was Sam standing in the hallway, picking up one of the ping pong balls and turning it in his hand.

Gabriel went to the science storeroom, but there wasn't a single clue there. But he did return the original chemical, in case he was accused of stealing it.

Gabriel headed to his first class after that, just making it in time before the teacher showed up. And his class was maths. Once again, maths first thing in the morning was just stupid.

Now while Gabriel was known as The Trickster and was very well known, he didn't actually have many close friends. Most of the time he spent with his family. All the other kids were kind of scared of him. While he didn't mind it, sometimes it did get a bit lonely. Especially in boring classes where there was no one to talk to.

Across the room, Kevin sat with some of his friends, Jo and Adam. Gabriel hadn't talked to them before, but he didn't feel like being alone today.

"Hey people," he said as he sat beside the three. They just looked at him weirdly.

"What do you want?" Adam said rudely.

"Someone to talk to," Gabriel said.

"Since when do you ever only want someone to talk to?" Kevin asked.

"Since I'm lonely, okay?" Gabe replied, his voice slightly irritated. The three exchanged confused looks, then looked back at Gabriel.

"Just don't mess with our stuff," Jo said. "Please." Gabriel nodded, surprised that he actually meant it.

Maths went smoothly, and Gabriel actually made decent conversation with the three. They became more comfortable with him as time passed, beginning to laugh and joke with him by the end of class.

Afterwards Gabriel went off to his other class, which Jo was also in, Food Tech. Basically, cooking. As they entered the room they passed Sam leaving.

"What was Sam doing here?" Gabriel asked.

"He likes to help the teachers out," Jo said. "He helps set up Food Tech every week, so that was completely normal." Gabriel nodded, the appearance of Sam disappearing from his mind.

It was a pretty simple lesson today. Muffins. Who can't make muffins? Gabriel partnered up with Jo and they went to the work station Jo always used. They also agreed to make their mixtures separately since Jo didn't trust Gabriel with the food whatsoever.

It all went fine until the very end, when they got to eat the muffins. Gabriel took one mouthful of his and almost choked. Jo looked at him weirdly and then grabbed his muffin to take a bite.

"Woah, how much cinnamon did you put in this?" she said, gagging a bit.

"None!" Gabriel said. He looked over at the ingredients and then saw the not on the back of the cocoa container. Oh you have got to be joking.

'Glad you started that war yet?' The note read.

"You started a war with someone?" Jo asked, reading the note over his shoulder.

"Yeah, the guy who keeps pranking me," Gabriel grumbled. He looked at the cocoa container, noticing now the slightly different texture. Cinnamon. Someone had swapped out the cocoa for cinnamon. "You said Sam set this up right?" Gabe asked slowly.

"Woah, you think he did this?" Jo asked. "Have you met the guy? He would never even think of it. He sets up often enough that he doesn't even pay attention to what he's putting out anymore, it was probably swapped in the storeroom."

"Yeah, and it just happened to be at the right work station?" Gabriel asked. "How would they even know that?"

"Don't ask me," Jo said, shrugging. "I'll ask Sam about though if that'll help." Gabriel nodded and looked back at the note, putting it in his pocket with the other.

Recess was after, in which Gabriel hunted down his family, seeing them sitting at their usual spot. They all looked a bit sad, probably for poor Cas.

"How's the soulmate hunt going?" Gabriel asked as he sat down.

"Crappy," Balthazar said. "We got the list back from Charlie, she said she got her phone back. But we went around and asked everyone Cassie hadn't met if they could see colours and none of them said yes."

"Could any of them have lied?" Gabe asked.

"No, Anna's pretty intimidating," Samandriel said.

"Damn right I am," Anna said. "They were definitely all telling the truth."

"Well that sucks," Gabe said. "Hey, you guys want a muffin?" His siblings nodded and he gave all his muffins away to them, one for each. He smirked as he waited for them to eat them. Balthazar, Samandriel and Anna all coughed it out, and Castiel had waited and then placed his muffin back down.

"Are you trying to poison us?" Samandriel near yelled.

"Now why in the world would I do that Alfie?" Gabe asked. For some weird reason, Samandriel's nickname was Alfie.

"I knew you liked pranking, but going as far to ruin food," Castiel said and Gabriel sighed.

"It wasn't me," Gabe muttered. "It was that stupid guy I made war with."

Balthazar laughed. "Wow, he's really serious about this."

"Only because he knows I declared war on him," Gabriel said, narrowing his eyes and looking at each sibling individually.

"None of us said anything," Balthazar said. "But you did talk about it at the party."

Castiel pulled the list out of his pocket and handed it to Gabriel. Gabriel scanned over the names, but none of them really seemed like the type to prank, and all these people had definitely been way too drunk to remember.

Gabriel sighed and gave the list back. "He also filled my locker with ping pong balls." His siblings laughed, even Cas breaking into a smile. Gabriel glared at them and then picked up his bag, walking off to his next class. He only had two more classes, both of them being doubles, so how much more could this guy prank him?

Castiel sat in Geography next to Charlie and the other boy Charlie was always with, wondering if perhaps they'd be able to help him find the person. They had some other friends with them who Castiel hadn't met.

"Hey Castiel," Charlie said, noticing him. "Care to join our conversation?" Castiel shrugged and nodded.

"I'm Benny," one of the guys said with a southern accent.

"Ash," the guy with the mullet said, not looking up from his computer.

"Garth," the tall skinny guy said. "And that silent guy over there is Dean." Castiel looked at Dean to find him staring at him. And immediately got lost in his green eyes. They were the perfect shade of green, and his hair was a blondish brown. The leather jacket he wore was faded and he had a sort of amulet on. And he was still staring at Castiel.

"Hey Deano," Charlie said, waving a hand in front of Dean's face, who looked over at her. "Anyone in there?"

"Yeah," Dean said, glancing back at Castiel and offering a small smile. Castiel returned the smile, before turning his attention to the current conversation.

"Come on, John is totally in love with Sherlock," Charlie said.

"But he's married," Benny said.

"Benny stop being logical," Dean said. "Johnlock for the win."

"Didn't you see how Sherlock basically came back to life at the thought of John being in danger?" Charlie said.

"That was Sherlock loving John," Benny said. "What proof is there that John loves Sherlock?"

"Be careful what you ask," Garth said, but it was too late. Charlie began listing every single small thing that showed John's love for Sherlock, which Benny sat through with an exasperated expression.

"Welcome to our normal day conversations," Dean said to Castiel. "You should hear when Doctor Who is mentioned."

"What's Doctor Who?" Castiel asked and Dean gasped dramatically. He blindly reached over to swat Charlie, still gaping at Castiel.

"What?" she said, annoyed at her rant being broken.

"He hasn't seen Doctor Who," Dean whispered, pointing at Castiel.

"Or Sherlock," Castiel muttered. Dean shook his head sadly.

"We are going to educate you," he said. "You are going to watch all seasons of both shows, no arguments."

Castiel sighed, already being able to tell that there was no way he'd be able to argue with these guys.

"Right, you guys are coming over tomorrow," Charlie said. "Stay all night or whatever, but we are binge watching these shows." Castiel agreed despite not understanding the term binge watch.

Gabriel really did think he'd be safe after that morning. But no, this guy seemed to know exactly where he would be and set up something at all those places.

The first one was during English. This one was kind of small, but annoying as hell. Gabriel was late to class and there was only one seat left in the classroom. Which had been swapped out for one of those chairs preps use. Metatron wouldn't let him go get a different one so he had to use that chair the entire time, and eventually he gave up and just sat on the floor.

The chair also came with another note. 'This must be causing quite a dent in you reputation. I mean, The Trickster getting tricked? And not doing anything about it?'

Gabriel recognized the handwriting from the previous letters. Although he didn't know anyone who wrote that neat, and it wasn't exactly easy to find someone by handwriting.

At lunch Gabriel thought he'd be safe because he was with his family. But as he was walking through the school towards his families tables, the sprinklers in a nearby garden turned on. Except they were aimed directly at Gabriel. Again, it was just a small thing but so irritating.

Gabriel found another note attached to the sprinkler. 'Hmm, maybe a one sided war isn't as fun as I thought...nope just kidding, this is awesome. Great idea Gabriel.'

By the time Gabriel dried off and met up with his siblings, the bell went for the end of lunch and he was pretty much fuming in anger. His siblings laughed a bit but looked a little more sympathetic when they saw how much this was bothering him.

After lunch he had art. Which went well for about half the time, until they had to draw. And Gabriel's sketch book was gone. In it's place was another note. 'Okay I'm starting to feel bad for this one sided thing. Tell you what. My locker is number 221 and I'm in your art class. Let's make this an even fight.'

Gabriel frantically looked around the room, inspecting every single person. All of them were paying hard attention to their work, no one turning towards Gabriel at all. Gabriel mentally noted everyone in the class and then grabbed paper to draw on.

Then he realized something. His sketchbook. That was personal, he never let anyone look in there, not even his siblings. He had drawn some of his deepest feelings in there, and someone else had taken it.

Gabriel began to shake as he realized this, and then excused himself from the classroom, ditching the rest of class. He didn't notice Sam staring at him as he left, looking a little bit regretful and guilty. And since he didn't come back he also didn't notice Sam leave the class a few minutes after him.

Gabriel hid out behind the school for the last hour, thinking about who the person could be and fretting over his lost sketchbook. When the last bell signified the end of the day, he returned to his locker to put his books away.

He was surprised to find his sketchbook in there, with another note attached.

'Don't worry I didn't look inside. Didn't realize you cared about this so much, I'm sorry I took it. And I'm not trying to be mean with any of this, I just want a bit of fun.'

Gabriel flicked through the sketchbook, making sure nothing was taken from it and then relaxed. He looked at the note and smiled a bit. Maybe this guy isn't actually that bad.

Gabe pulled out the other note. The guy had given him his locker number, that alone was a dead giveaway. Unless they never went to their locker, or went when Gabriel wouldn't be there. Well then, Gabriel would just have to be sneaky about it.

And of course, in his train of thought he didn't realize that his timetable was no longer in his locker. Or that the hidden picture on the back wall was slightly out of place.

~

So that food tech prank actually happened to me once. I didn't realize someone put cinnamon in the cocoa container...yeah that was the worst tasting thing ever.

And hey, more characters! I figured that they should probably have some other friends, otherwise that'd be a pretty depressing high school life. And I also keep nearly making Sam and Gabe meet, but they can't yet for what I have planned. Also an uneducated Castiel. And a Sherlock reference. And Johnlock.

:D
