It was after Christmas, all the students were back. Erica had split from the Herd so she could go down to Snape's room. She made it down in a relatively quick time and knocked on the dark oak door.

"Enter." She heard Snape's voice.

Erica bit her lip as she pushed open the door to see Snape sitting at his desk, book in hand.

"Miss Weasley. Here to collect your glitter?" Snape asked, glancing up at her.

"Yes professor." Erica nodded.

Snape swiftly put his book down and stood up, walking over to his cupboard before bringing out all different colours of glitter. Erica looked at all the colours, wondering why Snape even had glitter.

"Don't, ask." Snape warned.

"Don't worry sir, I won't question it." Erica held her hands up.

"Pick your colours and go. I have a meeting." Snape told her.

Erica picked up yellow, green and red before leaving briskly and starting to search for the twins. The twins were in the hall, re-reading all the rules Umbridge had up.

"Guys, guess what!" Erica called to them, running over.

"What?" They both turned and looked at her.

"I got some glitter for our 'project'." Erica told them, referring to what they were planning for later that year.

"We'll need to hide it well." Fred nodded.

"Don't tell me she made glitter illegal." Erica sighed,"It took me ages to find some."

"She's made everything of ours illegal." George rolled his eyes.

"Even the feather gun I helped you make?" Erica asked.

"Even the feather gun." Fred nodded.

"So, where do you think we should stick it?" Erica asked them, trying not to drop the jars.

"We'll find somewhere. Don't worry." George assured her.

"I mean, I've got three jars. We can each hide one." Erica suggested.

"Great idea." Fred nodded and took one.

Erica handed one to George and kept the last for herself. That's when they split up to hide their jars. After Erica hid her jar in one of the secret passage ways, she went back out to the courtyard to find her friends.

"Where'd you go?" Neville asked as she got closer.

"Yeah, you disappeared. We were wondering where you went." Hermione added.

"I saw the twins and we went to re-read all of Umbridge's rules. Literally everything is illegal." Erica explained, arms crossed.

"It's complete bull." Ron sighed, "She's making us all miserable."

"Just wait, the twins and I have something planned for the day of our exam." Erica informed them.

"You better not miss the exam." Hermione warned her.

"I'll be in the exam." Erica admitted, slightly nervous of Hermione's warning.

"Good." Hermione nodded.

"Guys, Hagrid's back!" Parker shouted while she ran up to them.

"That's amazing, are we going to see him?" Harry asked, looking at Parker.

"Of course we are. We need to find out where he was." Parker shrugged, "Last one there looses!"

She quickly ran out of the courtyard. Erica smirked at Ron before running, him following after her. Hermione, Neville and Harry soon ran after the two girls. When they all arrived they knocked on his door. After a few seconds, Hagrid opened the door.

He let them in with a smile, but he had scars all over his face, "Come on in."

"Are you alright?" Erica asked, tilting her head at the tall man.

"I'll explain once you're in." Hagrid nodded.

The six students sat down, Neville looking around as he'd never actually been before.

"This is top secret. Between us." Hagrid looked at them all.

"I'm good at keeping secrets." Erica informed him.

"Only with bribery." Ron muttered.

"Dumbledore sent me to party with the giants." Hagrid told them.

"Giants? You found them?" Parker asked.

"Yes, he sent me there with Madame Maxime to try and convince them not to join the Dark Lord." Hagrid explained.

"And that's how you got those?" Neville asked.

"Yeah, they aren't the most friendly at times." Hagrid answered.

"They look like they hurt." Hermione sighed, "Do they?"

"It did at the time but they're alright now." Hagrid replied.

"What did the Giants do?" Ron asked.

"Other than.. That to your face." Harry added.

"They threw a lot of rocks. I stayed strong though. If I didn't make it, who would take care of Grawp?" Hagrid questioned, not realising what he was saying.

"Who?" The six of them asked at the same time.

"Oh, he's my half brother. He's an actual giant while, due to my father, I'm a half giant." Hagrid explained to them.

"No offence Hagrid, but I'd rather not meet him." Neville shook his head.

"It's quite alright Neville. I'd suggest you six leave now, Professor Umbridge would not like seeing you here." Hagrid told them.

"We know how to handle Umbridge." Harry nodded.

"Yeah, she can't stop us." Hermione stated, crossing her arms.

"I feel like I'm missing something here." Hagrid looked at them all confused.

Erica looked around,"What is it Hagrid."

"You all better not be doing something bad. But, I won't ask too much." Hagrid sighed, "Go on, hurry back."

"When have we ever done something bad?" Ron asked as they all got up to leave.

"I don't know, maybe five years of it?" Parker joked before they left.

"Right, what now?" Erica asked, once they were outside.

"Great Hall?" Neville suggested.

"Yeah, we can sort out what to do at DA tonight." Harry agreed as they started walking back.

The Herd plus some others from DA were sitting in the Great Hall. Although Neville had this.. scared look on his face.

"You alright?" Parker asked, taking a sip of her water.

Neville nodded but nobody seemed to buy it.

"You can tell us." Erica assured him.

Neville took a few seconds before he handed over the Daily Prophet. The top headline was about the escape of Bellatrix Lestrange. There was a mass breakout at Azkaban. Parker sighed once she read the headline.

"Crazed aunt is free." She then looked at Neville, "You don't need to be scared, Neville. If anything happens, you have people to help you. And we all know you can do it."

"If she comes near any of us, she'll regret breaking out." Erica threatened, balling her fists.

"And you have loads of people who will back you up if she does come near you or anyone of us." Harry stated, "That's what the DA is for. Speaking of, I have something fun for everyone."

"Fun?" Hermione asked,"What is it?"

"We're going to practise the patronus charm." Harry simply said.

**

They were all there, wands out and ready to cast the patronus charm.

"Make it a powerful memory, the happiest you can remember. Allow it to fill you up." Harry told everyone while he walked around.

One by one, the room was filled with spirit like animals. Erica cast her's and it was a goat. She looked and saw Ron's was a Jack Russell terrier

Ron's patronus eventually ending up knocking Parker over while she tried to do her patronus, "Oi!"

Hermione cast her's and it was an otter that Ron's patronus began to chase. Shortly after, Parkers came.
It was a Dolphin. Luna's was a bunny, Ginny's was a horse. The twins both had a magpie. Neville was still trying. That's when lots of rustling was heard from outside the room.

"Can you hear that?" Seamus asked, looking at the wall.

Everyone's patronus' disappeared, the lights were flicking and the chandeliers in the room was shaking, along with the whole room. Then, the mirror shattered and fell to the ground. Everyone shielded their faces as small glass fragments flew everywhere. Nigel slowly went up to the small hole in the wall but Parker gently moved him to the side while she looked out of the hole herself. She was met face to face with a blockage and a hissing noise.

"Get to the back!" Parker quickly stepped back, pulling Nigel with her so he wouldn't get hurt as the wall behind them blew up.

Debris flew around, narrowly missing everyone. When the dust cleared, they were met by Filch and the Inquisitorial Squad. That's when Draco pulled Cho into everyone's view. She ratted them out!

"Get them." Umbridge ordered.

As they were being grabbed, Erica mouthed to Parker,"Did you tell her about the veritaserum?"

"Everyone did." Parker mouthed with a nod.

They were dragged to Dumbledore's office and Erica looked like she was about to snap. Ministry officials were also holding the students and Percy was holding her and Ron.

"Minister, I told you! Dumbledores Army." Umbridge scoffed, "We saw your lies for what they were, a smokescreen for your bid to seize control of the Ministry." She pointed at Dumbledore.

"No, it wasn't him it was me." Harry butted in.

"Most noble of you to shield me Harry but as pointed out, the parchment clearly says Dumbledore's Army not Potter's." Dumbledore reminded him before turning back to Fudge,"I instructed Harry and his friends to preform this organisation. And I, and I alone am responsible for the activities."

"Dispatch an owl to the Daily Prophet, if we hurry we can still make the morning edition." Fudge ordered his workers,"Dawlish, Shaklebolt, you will escort Dumbledore to Azkaban to await trial for conspiracy and sedition-"

Dumbledore gave the Herd a look, "Ah! I thought we might hit this little snack. You seem to be labouring out the illusion that I'm going to.. what was the phrase, come quietly? Well I can tell you this, I have no intention of going to Azkaban."

He then winked at the Herd before Fawkes came flying down and both him and Dumbledore disappeared.

"Woah, you may not like it minister but there's no denying, Dumbledore's got style." Kingsley stated, clearly impressed, they recognised him from the Order.

"Minister, what ever shall we do? The students have no headmaster." Umbridge looked at the Minister.

"You shall be the High Inquisitor." Fudge announced before storming out with his officials.

Umbridge giggled and looked at the Herd, "Get out of my office."

"It's never going to be your office." Parker glared at her.

Once they'd left her office Erica immediately walked over to the nearest wall and punched it.

"Okay, not the best way to deal with anger." Parker sighed while she took Erica's hand and checked it.

"You know not to punch walls." Ron told Erica.
Erica shrugged, she was just angry that Percy could support someone who just made others miserable.

"Let's just go to the Great Hall and come up with a new plan there." Neville told them, walking over to Erica.

They all nodded and walked to the Great Hall. The next few weeks were literal hell. Umbridge made all these rules that made no sense, for the students who were in DA, she punished them the same way she punished the Herd.
