Erica was sat in the twins room, trying to sort through pages and pages of ideas for products they could make.

"Found anything?" George asked.

"There's so many." Erica sighed,"You both have too many ideas."

"But they're good ideas." Fred pointed.

"They are, but how are you supposed to pick any?" Erica laid down in the mess of papers she'd made.

"Sometimes we just put named in a hat then pull it out." George looked down at her

"Okay- What is this supposed to be?" Erica sighed, holding up a paper,"Balloons that scream when you pop them?"

"Gives them a good fright." Fred smiled.

"I'm already scared by popping balloons, nevermind ones that scream at me." Erica sighed.

"What about... These? Comb-A-Chameleon? If we get the right ingredients, this could potentially change someone's hairstyle."

"Can we please test it on Ron?" Erica asked.

"If you can find him." George nodded.

"He'll be in our room." Erica shrugged.

"Let's a go." Fred handed her the comb.

"Onwards." Erica smiled as they left the room.

"Oh Ronald~" The twins teased as they walked upstairs.

"Come out. It's safe, I promise." Erica hummed.

"I don't trust you three together." Ron walked to the door with a sigh.

"Come on, its just a comb." Erica showed him.

"It's poison." Ron stared at it.

"You don't eat combs, Ron." George rolled his eyes.

"You never know with your bloody tricks. I'll touch it and I'll go bald."

"You'll still have hair, trust me. Its just a conb." Fred told him.

Ron hesitated and took the comb.

"See? You aren't bald, are yiu?" Erica hummed.

Ron sighed,"Want me to brush my hair?"

"No, eat the comb. Yes, brush your hair." Fred nodded.

Ron looked between the three and brushed his hair a few times. After a few combs through, his hair began to turn bright purple.

"It works! It works!" Erica clapped her hands.

"Oh, bloody hell." Ron groaned as he saw his hair in the mirror.

"What's all that noise?" Percy shouted from downstairs.

"Nothing Perce, just a little experiment." Fred smirked.

"Don't you know I'm busy? I don't need to be hearing stupid experiments and clapping. I've just been promoted." Percy scoffed and walked up.

"It wasn't even that loud." George rolled his eyes.

"Yes it is. You know I don't like being disturbed."

"Oh leave it, Perce." Ron waved him off.

"It's just a but of fun." Erica sighed

"I'm busy. Can't you see that?" Percy scoffed.

"Well, no, I've hardly seen or heard from you for the past two years." Erica crossed her arms.

"Because I'm busy. I've been promoted by the Minister, I'm actually doing something good for this family."

"It wouldn't hurt to answer back at least one letter letting me know you're okay."

"I have more important things to do than answer stupid letters." Percy scoffed.

"More important things than family?" Erica questioned.

"Yes! That's all you all talk about!"

"Down here, all of you!" Arthur shouted, he hated them arguing.

"Coming dad." Erica sighed, walking past Percy.

The twins, Percy and Ron made their way downstairs.

"What's with all this racket?" Arthur crossed his arms.

"Well, we were just having a bit of fun with Ron but apparently we're being too loud." George shrugged.

"Then Percy decided to tell us how important he is with his new promotion." Fred sighed.

"Because I'm trying to undo what all of their friends are saying. That You-Know-Who is back." Percy scoffed.

"He is back." Erica crossed her arms,"He killed my best friend."

"Cedric was killed by his own useless mistake." Percy pointed.

"What mistake? He did everything right." Erica glared at him.

"Obviously not. Or are you saying Harry Potter killed Cedric? Cause I can go to the Ministry and say that-"

"Why is it so hard for you to acknowledge the truth? God, you've been so different since you got that job at the Ministry."

"I've been different because they treat me more like a family than you lot." Percy spat.

"Percival." Arthur warned.

"I have done nothing but care about you and defend you as best I can." Erica looked up at him, although she was nearly at his eye level,"But you act like this and push everyone away! I will always be here but it's not my battle to save you from yourself."

"The Ministry don't get along with Dumbledore. For all we know this promotion could be just so you could spy on your siblings and report back to him. Percy... We just want what's best for you and that job isn't it." Arthur explained.

"How do any of you know what's the best for me? And you, don't you want to provide for the family? You could get so much further if you wanted to." Percy turned to Arthur.

"Hey, dad does his best for us." Erica pointed.

"Percy, why don't we go stand outside-" Arthur shook his head.

"No need. I don't need to associate myself with people who are so naive to believe a Headmaster over the Minister." Percy flicked his wand as a case appeared next to him, only for him to turn and walk out the door.

"Percy, wait!" Erica ran out after him.

"You will not change my mind Erica." Percy continued walking.

"Percy, please, you can't leave." Erica pleaded with him, she didn't want to lose anyone else.

"And why not? You've got plenty of other siblings that you can whine to. Face it Erica, you're not eleven anymore! You don't need me. You've made it clear whose side you're on." Percy turned and pointed at her.

"Percy, I do need you. I still love and respect you as my older brother but the Ministry is just using you." Erica shook her head.

"Enough Erica."

"Percy, please. No one is going to be upset with you if you just come home."

"I said enough!" Percy raised his hand.

He didn't mean it. He- Percy had slapped Erica on the cheek. Erica froze up and felt her cheek. It was warm and it stung.

"P-Percy?"

Percy stood in shock before taking a small step back and rushed off. Erica slowly walked back into the house. She'd lost her older brother.

"Where is he?" Arthur walked over to her.

"He's gone." Erica shook her head.

"What do you mean gone?"

"He ran off, dad." Erica walked over to Ron and hugged him.

Ron looked out the window and hugged Erica, stroking her hair. Erica hid her face in his shoulder as she started crying. Everyone kept leaving...

"Come on, Er... Just leave him." Ron kissed her head,"He's too far gone."

Erica nodded slowly, she was shaky and he head now rested on Ron's shoulder.

"You want to go upstairs?" Ron asked.

"Mhm.."

"Come on. I'll get your blankets." Ron lead her upstairs.

"Thanks Ron." Erica rubbed her eyes.

"Don't worry about Perce."

"I can't help it.."

"I know." Ron sighed.

"What is it?" Parker walked into the living area as she was called down by her father.

"We have a guest." Lucius told her, adjusting his tie.

"Who?" Parker raised a brow.

As Lucius opened the door, standing at the front step was... Snape?

"Professor?" Parker blinked, why was Snape here?

"Good evening." Snape nodded to her.

"He's here to teach you and Draco an important skill." Lucius explained.

"Can't we just do that at school?" Draco crossed his arms.

"No, it's not potions related." Lucius shook his head.

"Then what is it?" Parker looked at them.

"Occlumency and Legilimency."

"But that's... That's stuff we'd learn in Defense Against the Dark Arts." Draco shook his head.

"You'd learn about it, Mr Malfoy, not how to use it." Snape corrected.

"So why are we to learn it here? Now?... During summer." Parker pointed out.

"Because it is important. Now be quiet and take Professor Snape upstairs." Lucius pointed.

The siblings looked between each other before they turned and walked upstairs. Snape followed the pair, looking around.

"So why do we need to learn this?" Parker turned at Snape as they walked into the study.

"Well, it is a highly useful skill." Snape told her,"It keeps people from knowing your secrets and allows you to see the secrets of others."

"Are we having to learn this because Voldemort's back?" Parker crossed her arms and sat down.

"That is... A possible reason."

"So we need to protect ourselves against him... Protect each other." Draco nodded.

"Precisely." Snape told him.

"Do your worst." Parker sighed.

"Of course." Snape rolled up his sleeves.

"So what do we need to do?" Draco asked.

"You keep quiet, let me focus and I'll read your mind."

"What if Draco's thinking about naked women?" Parker hummed.

"I am not-"

"Then, unfortunately, I'd have to bear witness to that." Snape sighed.

Parker chuckled,"If you don't think it, I will."

"Please don't."

Parker shrugged and leaned back.

Draco smiled as he took out his phone, calling Astoria.

"Hi Draco." Astoria answered the phone.

"Hey darling." Draco hummed.

"What are you doing calling so late?"

"Just missed you."

"I missed you too... You know, I'm wearing that dress you got me."

"Are you now?" Draco smirked,"Bet you look gorgeous in it."

"Stop it." Astoria laughed.

Meanwhile Parker was standing at Draco's door. Snape had said to practice on each other when they were least expecting so... That's what she did. Although the image she saw through Draco's mind wasn't what she wanted.

"Come on, you know you love the compliments."

"Yeah, yeah." Astoria smiled.

"Let's see." Parker peered through his door, looking into Draco's mind again.

"Well? How is the dress?"

"It's very... Short. If my parents catch me wearing this, they'd go mad." Astoria shrugged.

"... Oh my god." Parker quickly slammed Draco's door closed.

"Jesus- Parker!" Draco groaned.

"Get those dirty thoughts out your mind!" Parker gasped.

"Shut up, you wouldn't be saying that if I was talking to Blaise!" Draco pointed.

"Bad thoughts, Draco!" Parker pointed back.

"I see how you look at him, I know what you're thinking about!" Draco shook his head.

"Ew no, I don't like men. I'm gonna turn into a lesbian and date Erica." Parker shrugged.

"That's Pansy's job, don't step on her toes." Draco sighed.

"Yes, yes." Parker rolled her eyes,"Dirty boy." She walked off.

Draco shook his head,"Sorry about her."

"Don't worry, Dray." Astoria assured him.

"She's crazy."

"She's your sister. You wind each other up." Astoria shrugged.

"Still, I mean, I'm quite surprised you haven't hung up yet."

"I like talking to you, even if it means I listen to you and Parker bicker."

"I'm glad." Draco smiled

"Are you sure this is the right place?" Ron looked around.

"It has to be." Erica shrugged.

"Ron, Erica." Hermione smiled as she walked up to them.

"Mione." Erica smiled.

"This is a nice café, I reserved a table for us all." Hermione hummed.

"We should do this more often." Ron nodded.

"We should. We're just waiting for Harry and Parker to arrive. They live the furthest from here." Hermione sat down.

"Theyll be here soon." Erica sat beside Ron.

After a few minutes, Harry and Parker walked in, walking to the café and sitting down.

"Welcome." Erica nodded to then.

"Thank you. Oh, I missed you all." Parker smiled.

"I think we all missed each other." Harry agreed.

"It gets lonely." Hermione shrugged.

"Yeah.." Erica nodded.

"You're off." Parker looked at Erica.

"I'm alright." Erica shook her head, picking up a spoon.

"So how has everyone's summer been?" Harry looked at them all.

"Mine has been relatively uneventful. Parker?" Hermione sighed.

"Mine has been... Alright. Me and Draco have gotten closer." Parker shrugged.

"That's nice, I suppose." Ron nodded.

"He's got a girlfriend now."

"That's nice, I suppose." Ron nodded.

"He's got a girlfriend now."

Erica gasped,"Who? When? Before you?"

"Astoria Greengrass. She's in third year." Parker hummed,"She's nicer than Daphne, her sister. She's in our year."

"Oh- I think I've seen her before." Erica pointed,"Why Draco though?"

"No idea." Parker shrugged.

Erica shook her head, starting to tap the spoon against the table.

"What about you two?" Parker nodded to the twins.

"Oh- Yeah, nothing much." Erica shook her head.

"Er." Ron sighed.

"What?" Erica looked at him.

"We should tell them."

Erica sighed, lookingto the side,"Percy left."

"Left?" Harry raised a brow.

"Disowned us and ran off, no clue where he went." Ron shrugged.

"He believes the Ministry over us.' Erica sat her spoon down.

"I'm sorry, Erica." Hermione sighed.

"Have you spoken to Oliver? Maybe he can knock some sense into him." Parker suggested.

"Tried, haven't heard back yet." Erica shook her head,"But it's okay, they're both busy people."

"He'll come around... Hopefully." Parker looked at Erica.

"Dad's been saying that." Erica nodded.

"Then we can only hope it's true." Parker smiled.

"Yeah.."

"Come on. Let's order some food." Harry clapped his hands.

"Yes- Food, a good distraction." Ron patted Erica's shoulder.

"A very good distraction." Parker hummed.

"Yeah, distraction." Erica sighed.

"But their cookies will never be as good as mine." Parker added.

"Of course not."
