Over the next few days, Umbridge had appointed herself as 'High Inquisitor of Hogwarts'. She had made countless useless rules and regulations. Until one day, it went too far.

The students had gathered out in the courtyard as Filch gave Trelawney her bags.

"Sixteen years I've worked at Hogwarts, this is my home! You can't do this to me." Trelawney sobbed.

"Actually, I can." Umbridge grinned.

"She takes pleasure in watching others suffer." Erica glared at Umbridge.

That's when McGonagall had stormed out, running up to Trelawney, hugging her side.

"Anything you would like to say, dear?" Minerva tilted her head slightly.

"Oh, there are several things I'd like to say." McGonagall scoffed, picking up the bags.

Just then, the large doors opened and Dumbledore appeared, walking out.

"Oh shit." Parker whispered.

"Professor McGonagall, may you please escort Sybill and her belongs back inside?"

"Thank you, Professor Dumbledore! Thank you." Trelawney cried as McGonagall lead her inside.

"Dumbledore, may I remind you that under the terms of educational degree number twenty three, as enacted by the Minister-" Umbridge began.

"You have the right to dismiss my teachers. You do not, however, have the authority to banish them from the grounds. That power remains with the Headmaster." Dumbledore reminded her, not impressed with her actions.

"For now." Umbridge giggled.

Dumbledore turned from Umbride and headed back inside, Harry trying to run after him.

"Harry don't." Ron held his arm,"This is the first time he's came out in a while."

"But I have so many questions." Harry sighed.

"Ask later, we need to go."

"Right.' He nodded slowly.

*********************************

"That foul, evil gargoyle." Hermione sighed as she paced in the Gryffindor common room, the Herd with her.

"Y'know, I watched someone nearly choke as she walked psst." Erica hummed, laying on the couch,"That's how strong her perfume is."

"We're not even learning how to pass our O.W.L.S. She's taken over completely." Parker shook her head, turning the radio down.

"And her punishments aren't exactly what I'd call 'legal'." Ron crossed his arms.

During their conversation, they heard the fire cough then what sounded like Sirius calling to Harry.

"Hey Sirius-" Erica stopped,"Sirius?"

"Hi, welcome to the Fireplace Phone." Harry sighed.

"You have one of these? Wicked." Parker laughed.

"What's Umbridge doing?" Sirius asked.

"She's a bitch." Erica stated bluntly.

"Well- Yeah, She's right." Harry sighed,"She's got all these new, stupid rules."

"She's illegally using blood quills to harm us." Hermione added,"During detention."

"Blood quills? That's her idea of punishment for children?" Sirius questioned,"Of course that's who he's got in charge."

"And she's due taking over as Headmaster, she keeps threatening Dumbledore." Parker nodded,"Even the teachers are scared of her."

"And we can't complain to the Ministry because that's where she works and besides, they already hate us enough." Erica sighed.

"So there's nothing we can do... Maybe we should start an Army, go against her." Parker chuckled.

"Parker, you're a genius." Hermione pointed.

"What?" Parker blinked.

"That's what we'll do, we'll make an army of students and teach them properly."

"Who would join us?" Ron sighed,"Most of the school is against us."

"We'll find people." Harry shook his head,"People may not like us, but they certainly hate Umbridge more."

"You could be the teacher." Parker looked at Harry.

"Me?" Harry blinked.

"Yeah, you're the best out of us lot." Erica agreed.

"Plus you're Harry Potter, even though they don't like you... They'll believe you for this." Parker nodded,"We can spread the word, but only to one's we know we can trust."

"Which means no Draco." Ron hummed,"Or his goons."

"... What about Blaise?" Parker raised a brow.

"Can we trust Blaise-"

"You just want to flirt with Blaise more." Erica whispered.

"No I don't." Parker nudged her,"If you don't want me to, I won't. I don't want to risk it."

"Blaise seems like a capable wizard and besides, unlike Draco, he's... Well, he's unproblematic." Hermione shrugged.

"I'll think about asking." Parker nodded.

"Well Sirius, is there anything else we need to know?" Ron turned back to the fire.

"Voldemort is on the move, the others don't wish me to tell you this but you need to know. Whatever you all do, you just need to be careful."

"We're always careful and always in danger, don't worry. We're all good." Erica assured him.

"I'll speak to you all soon."

"Bye Sirius." Harry waved.

*********************************

Over the next few days, the Herd had told some people they trusted about what they were planning. They were waiting at Hog's Head in Hogsmeade, it was abandoned so they didn't need to worry about getting found out.

"So... What is this thing?" Seamus spoke up.

"We've decided that we're going to form a club that teaches us how to actually use defensive magic. Umbridge won't give us that and this is the year that counts." Parker announced,"The club will be taught mostly by Harry, however sometimes you'll have lessons with some of us."

The crowd seemed uncertain, murmuring about Harry.

"If you don't believe Harry, believe in us. If you don't want to learn and stick with Umbridge? You can go." Ron added.

"Is it true you can produce the Patronus charm?" Luna raised her hand.

"Yes- Yes, it is true." Harry nodded.

"Besides, unlike Umbridge, I'd bet Harry can actually teach a class to pass their exams.' Erica pointed.

"And to fight Voldemort." Hermione sighed.

"Is it true that he's really back? My mum says that everyone's lying." A young second year raised their hand.

"Nobody's lying." Erica shook her hesd,"He's back and he's dangerous."

"So... Who wants to sign up?" Parker held up the sign up sheet.

The group of students looked at each other before they all lined up, signing their name on the sheet of parchment.

"Isn't leaving a paper trail, I don't know... Not a good idea?" Ron raised a brow.

"It's only one sheet. We'll keep it wherever we find out we're doing the club." Harry assured him.

"Besides, we need it." Erica kept her voice quiet,"To rat out snitches."

"Snitches get stitches." Parker nodded.

"Literally, in this case." Hermione agreed, a small smile on her face,"The parchment is cursed. Everyone who signed it is sworn to secrecy so if they tell Umbridge about us... Well, it isn't pretty."

"We're sorted then." Parker hummed.

*********************************

"We need to find a place to practice, somewhere that Umbridge won't find." Harry spoke as the Herd, the oldest Weasley twins, Neville and Ginny walked down the hall.

"What about the Shrieking Shack?" Hermione suggested.

"It's too small." Ron shook his head.

"I think I might have a place." Neville told them.

"On the fifth floor?" Parker turned to him.

"This is sort of exciting, breaking the rules." Hermione smiled.

"Who are you and what have you done to Hermione?" Ron chuckled.

"Don't you keep Rita Skeeter in a glass bottle?" Erica blinked.

"Just her beetle form." Hermione shrugged.

"And that's not breaking any rules? No?"

"Shush." Hermione waved her off.

"You break rules all the time, admit it."

"This is more exciting than keeping Skeeter."

"Exciting- Hermione, you have a living being held at your mercy in a glass jar." Erica sighed.

"I will let her go eventually." Hermione shook her head.

"Why did you bring us to a wall?" Ginny sighed.

"Because it's here, you just have to- Well- Need it." Neville told them.

"We need you." Ron waved hid hands about.

"Something tells me thats not how it works, Ron." Erica shook her head.

"You try it then." Ron rolled his eyes.

"I never said I knew how it worked." Erica raised her hands.

Neville closed his eyes and when he opened them back up, there was a door beginning to show.

"There we go." Erica smiled at him.

They all wandered inside, looking around and the door disappeared once they were all inside.

"The Room of Requirement, only appears when we're in need." Parker hummed.

"Well, this looks like the perfect place for us." Hermione nodded.

"We should tell the others to meet here after dinner tomorrow." George looked around.

"We need to make sure they don't make it too obvious, so Umbridge doesn't catch on." Erica crossed her arms.

"Give them all separate times?" Parker suggested.

"Yes, so there's no big gathering of students here."

"Sorted then." Fred clapped.

"We just need to make sure this stays out of Umbridge's radar." Ron agreed.

"We can do that." Harry nodded,"Let's go tell the others, I'll see you all in thr morning?"

"In the morning." Erica sighed.

*********************************

Finally after everyone had came at separate times, everyone was waiting for the first lesson to begin.

"Right, we'll start with something simple. Expelliarmus.' Harry clapped his hands.

"That's easy." Seamus rolled his eyes,"We learned that in first year."

"Go on then, Seamus. Pick a partner and show us how it's done."

Seamus turned to Dean,"May I?"

"You may." He nodded.

"Expelliarmus." Seamus pointed his wand at Dean, disarming him.

"You got me." Dean chuckled.

"See?" He turned to Harry.

"What if we did something more... Defensive towards others? Like stunning?" Parker suggested.

"For example, stupefy." Erica nodded, waving her wand around.

Although Erica had stunned Ron, flinging him against the wall.

"Well... That's one way of showing it." Ron winced.

"Oh- Sorry Ron." Erica quickly put her wand down,"I didn't mean it."

"So everyone, pick a partner and do it just like Erica. Once you have your partners, line up." Harry walked to Nigel, a small second year,"You can try it on me."

"Cool." Nigel smiled as he took his wand out,"Stupefy."

Harry quickly got flung back, Nigel laughing as he looked at his wand.

"Nice one, Nigel." Ron smiled.

"Ron, you're with me." Hermione grabbed him and walked forward.

"Oh- Right." He nodded quickly.

Just as they got into position, Hermione stunned Ron straight away.

"I let her do that." Ron pointed as he walked up to his siblings.

"Oh, I'm sure you did." Erica patted his back.

"Everyone break off into groups, start practicing." Harry smiled.

*********************************

Erica sighed as she walked through the hallways. She'd managed to avoid Hannah and Max and was on her way to meet the Herd.

"Erica?" Neville walked up to her.

"Oh- Hi Nev." She smiled.

"Uhm- Umbridge wants you and Parker to go to her office." Neville shook his head,"She's asking questions about the Army."

"Of course she is." Erica sighed,"Don't worry, I'll take care of this."

"Be careful."

"I always am."

Neville walked off to find the others to warn them.

Erica sighed and crossed her arms, heading towards Umbridge's office. When she arrived, Umbridge was waiting for her at the door.

"You wanted to see me, Professor?"

"Yes... Come on in, dear." Umbridge opened the door.

Erica shook her head before walking into the office and sitting in front of the desk.

Umbridge had turned her back to Erica, making some tea. However Erica had noticed she had another vial, putting it in the teacup.

"I'm not thirsty, Professor." Erica shook her head.

"It's good for you, since I'm taking time out of your lunch time." She placed a mug down.

"I meant what I said, Professor."

Umbridge raised a brow,"As you wish... I would just like to ask a few questions."

"Alright, about?"

"Is Dumbledore creating a secret army against the Ministry?"

"Of course not."

"Is Harry or any of your sheep Herd starting an Army for him?"

"No, we're too busy studying for our O.W.L.S." Erica shook her head.

"Have you learned your lesson from detention?" She hummed.

"Of course, Professor."

"You wouldn't lie to me now, would you? I think we're a bit too old for games." Umbridge drank her own tea.

"I wouldn't lie to you again." Erica shook her head, taking a 'sip' of the tea in front of her.

Umbridge smiled,"So no one you know is plotting against the Ministry or myself?"

"I am not aware of any plots against you or the Ministry." Erica told her.

"Well... Thank you for your time. You may go."

"Of course, Professor." Erica stood up and walked out.

"Say... If you find any of your other friends, send them my way."

"I will." Erica nodded as she quickly walked off, spitting out the tea.

She had to warn the others that Umbridge was using Veritaserum. It forced you to tell the truth, by putting it in the tea would be an easy disguise.

Erica quickly hurried off to where her and the Herd had agreed to meet. Luckily for her, they were still waiting there.

"Hey, where were you?" Hermione sighed.

"Umbridge." Erica shook her head,"Interrogated me. She's putting Veritaserum in the tea she gives you."

"Oh fuck." Parker cursed,"How many students has she done it with so far?"

"I'm not sure, Nev told me about the interview."

"We all need to warn them, it's nearly time for the club anyway." Harry sighed.

"We'll need to be careful about it, she's looking for you all." Erica shook her head.

"Just don't drink the tea." Hermione nodded.

"And if you do, don't swallow."

"Keep it under your tongue, but if you do accidently swallow, it takes a good... Thirty seconds to kick in." Parker explained.

"In other words, be careful." Ron nodded,"Let's go."

*********************************

Everyone was back in the Room of Requirement, practicing some more spells. Although Neville was still having difficulty trying to get Stupefy right.

"Nev, focus on me." Erica held her arms out,"Focus, I know you can do it."

"I am focusing." Neville sighed.

"Then hit me."

"I can't." Neville pointed.

"You can. Trust yourself."

"Stupefy." Neville pointed his wand, although nothing happened.

"Right- Pretend you don't like me. Pretend I'm Hannah!"

Neville chuckled softly and pointed his wand,"Stupefy!" A small spark came from his wand

"Nearly there, you have to pretend really hard."

"I am." Neville held his head.

"One more try? For me?"

Neville closed his eyes, pointing his wand,"Stupefy!"

That's when a spark blasted at Erica, knocking her over.

"See? I told you that you could do it!' Erica chuckled.

Everyone smiled and clapped, surrounding them.

"Oh my god." Neville smiled.

"And look, I'm just fine." Erica walked over and hugged him.

Neville let out a sigh of relief and hugged back.

"You need to trust yourself more, you're a great wizard."

"Thanks Erica." Neville hummed.

"Not a problem, honey." Erica patted his shoulder.

"You guys won't believe this." Dean ran up to them.

"What's happened?" Seamus turned around.

"Come see." Dean ran to the hallway, poking their heads out.

When they looked out, they saw Umbridge giving Filch, Draco and his friends badges.

"Badges? She's got minions now?" Erica sighed.

"Probably trying to catch us out." Parker looked.

"Well, we'll just have to he extra careful." Ron shook his head.

"We'll come at separate times, small groups." Hermione walked back into the room.

"And avoid them at all cost." Harry nodded.

"Yep." Seamus sighed.

"We could use the passageways." George looked at his twin and sister.

"Oh, I could make maps." Erica smiled.

"That would be perfect." Luna hummed.

"Dont worry. The passageways are easy to navigate once you've got the hang of it." Fred assured them.

"Great." Harry closed the door.

During the last twenty minutes of class, Parker walked up to Erica,"Er? What passage leads to my common room? Nigel hit me with a dizzy spell."

"Oh, that one just along the corridor." Erica pointed,"Eyepatch."

"Thanks." Parker hummed and left the room after she made sure it was safe.

As she made her way along she... Felt like she was being watched. That's when Draco walked out.

"Hello, brother dearest." Parker sighed.

"You're needed in Professor Umbridge's office. Now." He told her.

"I feel dizzy, Dray." Parker shook her gead.

"I'm sorry, but she wants you now."

Parker looked at him,"Fine."

"Thank you." Draco sighed.

Parker crossed her arms and walked with him,"Fancy new badge?"

"Inquisitorial Squad."

"Spies for Umbridge." Parker corrected.

"We're stopping troublemakers, like you and your 'friends'." Draco stopped outside of Umbridge's door, knocking.

"Ah, Draco. And I see you found your sister, that's great." Umbridge smiled,"Come on in you two.:

Draco nodded, practically pulling Parker inside with him.

"What's this about, Professor?" Parker shoved Draco.

"Oh, just a few quick questions dear." Umbridge assured her as she began pouring two cups of tea.

Parker glanced at the tea, remembering what Erica mentioned.

"Go on, dear. It's to calm you down, you looked nervous."

Parker nodded and lifted the cup and took a small 'sip'.

"Now, is Dumbledore making an army of students to stand against the Ministry and I?"

"Of course not Professor. We hardly see the Headmaster." Parker shook her head.

"What about Harry Potter? Is he doing it for the Headmaster?" Umbridge questioned.

"No, we've all been studying for our O.W.L.S. He wouldn't have the time for it.'

"Besides, I've been keeping an eye on Potter." Draco added.

"And have you learned from your detention?"

"I must not assist in telling lies." Parker raised her hand.

"You're free to go now." Umbridge hummed.

"Thank you professor." Parker smiled,"That tea is lovely." She turned away, spitting it out once she had left the room.

"You knew?" Draco raised a brow.

"I'm not as stupid as I look Draco." Parker shrugged,"I want to ask you something."

"Ask me something?"

Parker remembered that Draco had some of the tea, maybe there was a chance it was spiked too.

"Are you and our parents keeping something from me?"

"I'm not allowed to say." Draco shook his head.

"So that's a yes." Parker tilted her head.

"Parker, I can't."

"What are you keeping Draco?" Parker leaned closer to him.

But before Draco could answer, Astoria walked over.

"Dray, we have to go." Astoria hummed.

"Right. Sorry Parker." Draco shook his head again and left with Astoria.

"Nice seeing you, Parker.' Astoria waved as they walked off.

"Bye Tori." Parker waved before she sighed.

She knew something was hidden from her... Now she just needed to find out what.
