Bailey found herself in a dark room. She shivered as cold air blew across her neck. She had a bad feeling about this. Her instincts were usually correct. Why had the lights gone out again? She wondered to herself, curling up in a ball next to the air vent in this particular room.

The lights flashed not even ten minutes later, and Bailey let out a squeak. She huddled closer to the vent. Even though it was cold, she felt comforted by its presence. She didn't know why.

The lights flashed again. This time, the door creaked open, not long after. Bailey hid her face, hoping with all her heart this wasn't what she thought it was.

The lights flashed again. This time, she could make out a silhouette. There was someone else in that room. Someone was there with her. Their presence was overwhelmingly negative.

"Get out of the way!" Someone hissed, pushing Bailey away from her corner. "I heard you through the vent. I'm glad I decided to investigate." The person attacked the silhouette. This person was the defender.

The silhouette growled, frustrated. They turned and ran away. Two against one wasn't a fight the murderer wanted to face.

Bailey breathed a sigh of relief. She was crying, terrified. "Thank you..." she whispered, but when the lights flicked back on, the defender was gone.

The murderer attempted to kill Bailey. The defender protected her. Bailey is still alive.

Nobody has died. The group didn't vote for anyone. There is no decision. Xibalba is no longer muted. Nightly actions will be completed. Food levels are at 9/10. I wonder if anyone is getting hungry...
