The first story

I ever finished

was called the Civil war hideaway

Started in the 3rd grade

and finished in the 4th

I thought

it was pretty

interesting

at the time

now I'm not so sure

I lost it 

for a whole

year

That year

I had 

writer's block

I searched

 for my story

almost every day

Finally

at the start of 5th grade

I found it

smushed up

on the floor

behind my desk

I still have it 

but I'm too lazy to write the 2nd draft

or

maybe

I just don't think

It's any 

good

anymore
