Chapter 112:

At the time of the night, a car was standing outside the office of Avni and Neil was sleeping in the car. Someone knocked on the window and Neil woke up and looked here and there then he realised that he was sleeping in the car, just because of tiredness, he slept. He opened the window and saw Avni's driver.

Kaka: the office is empty, I have checked everywhere, Avni is alone there.

Neil was listening to him by looking down. Neil has sent him to check and he fell asleep by waiting for him that too for just a few minutes.

Neil: thank you, Kaka, now you can take her car, I will take her with me.

Kaka nods.

Kaka: ok.

He goes. Neil was waiting for him to go. Soon Kala took Avni's car from there. Neil was watching that. Neil looked straight and thinks.

Neil looked up and he saw Avni is coming by carrying her bag and was walking with much difficulty. Neil immediately opened the car door and goes to her. Avni stopped to see him.

Neil said while coming to her: wait, let me help you.

Neil came to her and was about to pick her but Avni holds his arm.

Avni: no.

Neil looked at her and he understood why she is not letting him pick her up. Neil holds her hand and placed the second hand on her shoulder to give her support and slowly took her to the car and makes her sit. Neil was angry with her but he knew that he have to deal with her calmly. Neil goes to the driving seat and opened the door then he sat and drove to the Khanna mansion.

On the way, Neil saw Avni sitting leaning on the seat and her hands were on her belly, he understood that she is in pain and tired. Avni opened her eyes and looked out from the window. Avni thinks.

Flashback:

Avni was sitting on the chair in her cabin and was working on the laptop, she was desperately working late at night. She heard the footsteps and looked up. She saw Kaka going and she thinks. Avni goes to the glass wall and saw Kaka talking to someone, she recognised Neil's car. She knew that Neil will come to take her but still was trying to ignore that thought. Avni was looking at them, she thinks.

Flashback ends.

Avni was thinking.

Soon, they reached home and Neil takes her to the room and makes her lay by setting the pillow on her back.

Neil: is it OK?

Avni nods, Neil's phone rings, he takes out it and saw the call is from the hospital.

Neil: I am coming.

Avni nods.

Neil goes and talks for 20 minutes. Neil entered the room and saw Avni sitting on the bed by changing her dress into a nightdress. Avni got up, she did not notice Neil and was going to get water which was kept in the jug on the table. Avni was unable to walk.

Neil: Avni.

Avni stopped and Neil goes to her. He holds her.

Neil: where are going? Tell me, what do you want.

Avni replied in a low voice: water.

Neil: Sit, I will get it for you.

Neil takes her back to the bed and makes her lay. It was becoming difficult for Avni to handle her pain. Neil poured the water and came to her. Neil sat and makes her drink water. Avni rests her head back and her eyes were closed.

Neil: is it aching?

Avni shook her head.

Neil gets angry.

Neil: you did not have anything at the dinner, right.

Avni: I had a sandwich.

Neil: stop lying, Avni. I am going to get something for you to eat and then have medicine.

Avni shook her head. Neil goes and Avni lays on the bed.

Neil came back after some time and was shocked to see the view in front of him.

Avni was laying on the bed curling up her legs and holding her belly she was in severe pain. Neil came and goes to keep the tray on the table and came to Avni, he sat and caressed her hair.

Neil: Avni, Avni.

Avni hugged her belly more tightly and a tear falls from her eye. Neil goes to the table and poured water for her.

Neil said while coming to her: That's why I asked to come home and have rest but you did not listen to me.

Neil sat and tried to take her head up to make her drink but she denied it. Neil thinks. He keeps the glass on the side table and picks Avni in his arm and takes her from there.

A car stopped outside the hospital.

In the corridor, Neil was standing outside the room. The doctor came out.

Neil: how is Avni?

Doctor: she is fine, I gave her an injection now she is sleeping... Doctor Neil...

She talked to Neil.

Doctor: her hemoglobin is low so we transfused the blood to her.

Neil: ok.

Doctor: take care of her.

Neil: sure, thank you.

The doctor nodded and Neil looked at the door. Neil entered the room and saw Avni who was unconscious and the bottle of blood was connected to her hand. Neil came to her and caressed her hair then he kissed her forehead.

Neil: Why do you not listen to me? I have lost my baby now I can't lose you please try to understand, please.

Neil touched his forehead to her forehead and sobbed. Neil squeezed his nose and moves away, he wipes his tears.

Neil: If I had one per cent idea that this all will happen then I would not leave you there alone.

Neil thinks.

Flashback:

It was the time of the evening, Neil was talking on the phone in the corridor and Avni was sitting alone in her room and scrolling down her phone she was seeing baby dresses online and was smiling, a doll was kept on her lap. Suddenly, two birds entered from the window while fighting and Avni got scared. She got afraid that what if they hit the fan.

Avni: Neil, Neil.

Neil turns his face and cuts the call. He runs. Avni got up and a doll was kept on her lap which falls on the floor and Avni stumbled on her but she keeps her hand on the side table at the right time. Neil came there and stopped at the door. He saw the birds and quickly switched off the fan and was looking at them. The birds fly from there. Neil sighs then he looked at Avni and is shocked to see her.

Neil: Avni.

Neil goes to her who was holding the side table and her eyes were closed. Neil makes her stand. Neil cups her face.

Neil: you ok?

Avni nods by not looking at him.

Neil: I am closing this window.

Avni looked at the doll and was shocked, she recalled her dream. Neil goes to close the window and came to her. Neil frowns to see her and followed her gaze. Neil saw the doll and was shocked. He picks up the doll and goes to keep it in the cupboard and smiled fakely while turning.

Neil: I guess those birds were a couple and had fight over food. What do you think?

Avni was in deep thoughts. Neil came to her and cupped her face.

Neil: everything is fine, don't think too much. See, you and baby are fine. Sit, now.

Neil makes her sit and poured water for her and makes her drink that. Neil looked at Avni who was trying to feel her baby. Neil cups her face.

Neil: everything is fine, relax.

Neil thoughts to change her mind.

Neil: Avni, did you like something? You were doing online shopping, right? Let's do it now.

Neil picked up her phone.

Avni: Later, now I want to have a rest.

Neil: ok.

Neil makes her lay and caressed her hair. Avni looked at him then she thinks.

Neil was looking at Avni with tearful eyes.
