Ezra Maximoff was the oldest out of the Maximoff triplets. During the explosion that killed their parents, he becomes separated from them. H.Y.D.R.A kidnapped him amidst all the chaos, and he was experimented on for a year, turned into a shell of a person with barely a name to call his own until the Avengers rescued him. In a position of free will and entrapment, he struggled to regain track of the person he once was, yet after a bit of adjusting, he starts to have a semi-normal life

After six years, he's long given up any and all hope his siblings are ever going to come back for him, thinking they've abandoned him. He no longer goes by Maximoff and becomes an Avenger (Not officially due to his age, but he might as well be since he's well-known in the media.) He finds and helps other enhanced found and taken into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody, to help rebuild the life they'd lost or build a new one, training those who choose to stay. He's completely moved on with his life.

When Tony ends up creating Ultron, Ezra takes a break from high school to help stop a murderous robot from ending the human race. From what he's heard, he's not the only enhanced on this mission, but he thinks he can help them see reason and choose the right path as he'd done for others. Except when he figures out who they are, it seems as if everything he's been building up for in the past few years has started to come crashing down.

As the Maximoffs finally reunite, Ezra soon finds out that not only had they went along life like he'd never existed but that they'd volunteered to join the very organization that tortured him for a year to be experimented on themselves. Hurt and betrayal creates a rift between him and his siblings as they find themselves on opposite sides of the battlefield. Will they find a way to repair their friendship, or is it too late and their bond is now forever shattered?
